I'm a bit confuzzled as I'm on d12 and still low on the old cbfm - have got my first high on d11 every month previously (this is my fifth cycle using it) so Christ knows what's g'wan.

Urgh, is it still not time for me to POAS? The 2WW is so dull. For some reason the 2 weeks before OV don't seem to bad, but the two weeks after OV are a pain in the neck.

Random TMI question - my cycles are always totally and utterly clockwork, and I always OV between day 12 and 14, as far as I can gather from EWCM (haven't temped or anything). Had EWCM as usual on days 12-15ish, did plenty SWI etc etc. Am now on CD19 and have loads more EWCM. Was last OV a pretend effort, or is my body just playing silly buggers? Will probably muster up the energy for some SWI just in case, but just wondering. No particular stress or drama that might have delayed ovulation that I can think of...

Hi, I've been MIA over the last few weeks, busy with work and went to Cornwall on holiday.

I'm glad to see that Dorcas and WYG have made it to the graduates list.

Sadly, I can't add my name to the list. For some bizarre reason, I had a 26 day cycle this period. It really knocked me for six, total breakdown, as I just want to feel normal again. 31 days for the first cycle post MC and 26 days second one post MC. My emotions are still all over the place. I haven't stopped thinking about it and in tears as I type.

LAF77 so sorry you're having a tough time - just be kind to yourself - I don't think there's any hard and fast rule as to when you'll start feeling better just gradually there's longer and longer between each bad day. take care x

I had that exact same thing this month hopefully, even the same days. How odd.

LAF77 Try not to let the random cycles get you down. I had 2 x 37 day cycles, then a 28 day one and got pg on the next one (I didn't know when was good to SWI so it was a bit random and hopefully linked to EWCM)! It doesn't seem that cycles go back to text book length after mc (and mine were always slightly different) so I guess it means lots of SWI. Good luck!

hi ladies, hope you are all having a nice relaxing weekend. Well RTD got me yesterday, first one since MC and omg i am in hell, i've never felt pain like it (even in labour, had cramp since tues and when it eventually showed it was so painful, still is, have been resting up for the past 36 hours. Is this normal? I actually thought of going to casualty this morning I was crying my eyes out like a baby! Anyway so back to square one, currently Cycle 1 and CD2 for me.

I've been reading through what I missed, nice to see you viv even popping in on your hols, just cant keep away! and LAFF77, so sorry your feeling this way, I know how you feel, just when you think your getting over it, it comes and slaps you in the face. Ive been quite teary the past couple of days two, partly cos of the pain but also cos I wish I was still pregnant and shouldnt be feeling this way. Its hard just to move on and I think it will take a long time.

LAF huge sympathies. I have irregular cycles ALL the flipping time and it never ceases to get me down. Although am currently throwing my money at acupuncture in a bid to feel positive and productive about it all. I actually do feel better.

magichen am also on my first period since MC. Yep, had awful cramping for a few days prior, then the first two days - but I think the acupuncture helped ease some of it. Glad to hear your resting. I find being active helps me. Did lots of walking this weekend.

moof well, if you watched last series then you'll know Rikki (with the hat), who was out the week before my sis (the rapper in Miss Frank). And if you watched it the year before then you'll know Laura White. I never used to watch it, it'll be really weird watching it this year (if I can be bothered) knowing all the manipulation that goes on behind the scenes.

Fliesby, LAF and Magichen There must be something in the air because I'm feeling shitty too. My due date is 3 weeks away and my friend who was just ahead of me had her baby this weekend. My reaction to that lovely piece of news was to sob like an idiot and snap at DH and DD for the rest of the day. Then to feel guilty for being such a terrible friend and not just being happy for her without getting caught up in my own shite. I'm now in a state of panic about having to go and see her newborn when mine should have been arriving - I'm terrified I won't be able to hold it together and will ruin everything.

To those of you in the early stages I want to tell you that it does get easier with time, although it might not feel like that now. I think I'm having an almighty wobble because of the milestone - in a way I am desperate to get past it. You will start to feel stronger as time passes, I promise.

So with that morose post I'll bid you all goodnight - next week will be a better one for us all x

hopefully i used to think i was ov cd 11 - 13 because of ewcm but didn't get pregnant for 7 cycles after mc so did the cbfm thing which has indicaed a peak on cd15 every cycle since and i got pregnant twice when was trying in jan and feb - although not sucessful clearly!! but it did highlight for me my ewcm peaks did not coincide with ovn ... just thought to let you know in case!!

First proper period after the MC and it's going on and on and on and on - I generally am only on for 3 days and we're spotting past day 5 now, plus I was spotting before I came on - beginning to annoy me since we need to get back to the shagging.

No point going bothering docs about the fact it's different - GP is useless.

What is it with these wierd cycles for everyone - methinks the vuvuzelas are messing with everyone. I always have such a dull 28 cycle, didn't even have a WTF cycle after last MC, and then this cycle RTD was has been double the length, and I got some bleeding with my EWCM (sorry TMI) anyone else had this ever?

Hi freezing - quick post from work - I am having crampy period feelings, but am only day 23. This is my first period (if it does arrive) since my WFT after MC. I am normally 26-28 days. I am mystified too!

Had icky heartburn last night (last experienced at 8.5 months pregnant, which I am emphatically not at the moment) so no SWI. Am keeping fingers crossed that it's some freakish early pregnancy sign rather than late OV!

Freezing my WTF cycle wasn't very WTF (I think it was a day shorter or something), but it's taken a few months for my cycles to 'feel' normal again, IYKWIM. I don't think I actually OV'd the first couple of months after MC - I had virtually no EWCM, got no discomfort around OV time (I usually notice it in a vague sort of way) and periods were either heavier or lighter than normal. Last month was my first 'normal' (i.e. like before MC) feeling cycle and RTD, and my MC was really early and in January! I think having an absolutely clockwork cycle with no oddities makes me more likely to notice fractional differences in heaviness of bleeding or a day or two either way in my cycle. It's also meant that I've known at least a couple of days before my period (rather than wishfully thinking) both times I've been PG.

Freezing your EWCM bleed could have been from ovulation. I never knew you could bleed then but you can and it's normal. Hopefully heartburn is the pits, hope you had plenty of Gaviscon to hand. Empty it can to a few months to get back to normal, try not to worry too much or read anything into it x

You will be fine when you see your friend, try not to put it off, deep breaths before you go in and then have a bloody large drink when you get home and log on here!
