Come on in, you raddled old caaaaahs, whotchoo waitin' for?

I've gone for a groovy 60s psychedelic theme, so get your fat upper arms comfy in the hanging globe chairs and hide your mememe shame in the glow of the lava lamps!

Russell Howard is our new bartender, although I don't think he's happy at the flares 'n' kipper tie outfit I've forced him to wear. And of course, Mitchell is in the pit, nervously awaiting his first guest.

Let's make this one diffalicious!

Bwen-oh notchy, beatches!

I am in total verbal diarrhoea...(whatevs) mode..can't stop posting to my BESHes! I think getting signed up to info sesh has done something to me, in a kind of getting over-a-hurdle-IVF-might-be-really-happening kind of way...i feel beatific, uplifted, and maternal, so draw close under my bingowings Scorps, Cassio, Lyra and Gins for a snuzzle

ginhag · 11/05/2010 19:50

BESH BUNDLE!!!!!

Lyra glad the power of the coven has helped. We hearts ya muchly.

And,re tooth.... It's Not Good. Saw dentist that emergency clinic referred me to today,he did a much better x ray than the first one and described the situation as a 'massive abscess'. Yes he did say 'massive'. Erk. And the general verdict is that I must be in stupid amounts of pain...but obv I knew that

anyway the antibiotics I was on were doing fuck all,I am now on summat that kills a broader spectrum of bugs,in a very strong dose,so hopefully in 48 hours I will feel less like lying on the floor sobbing...

But,CHECK THIS! We swi on Sunday night. Ok,I didn't enjoy it as much as usual which always make me feel weird, but if I ov'd this month (my body may not have bothered due to fact it's falling apart) it was prob on that day. So we managed once on thurs, once on sun. Which, under the circumstances goes towards reconfirming my double-hard-bastard status

we have also offered a job to one of the unfortunates I interviewed on Friday. Let's hope the pain n drugs didn't cloud my judgement too much!

Scorpette · 11/05/2010 19:53

Is good to know I'm not the only one with Post Mentrual Tension!

Poor Gordo, that was a lovely and dignified farewell speech and his beaming smile at his wife and boys was so touching. He's never let his sons be shown until now, so it was delightful.

Cannot believe we're going to suffer a Lib-Con nightmare. Bang go our future (or existent, for Mummy BESHes) child benefits, family credits, child fund and all that marvellous stuff. They also want to vastly cut down on maternity leave and basically get rid of paternity leave - because the Tories are, after all, the party that cares most about Family And there's going to be no women in any of the important cabinet posts, so I can't see women's rights being very important. Say what you like about Harman, Jowell et al, but they did a lot to try and ameliorate the rights of rape victims and domestic violence sufferers and get these crimes punished more.

Gin, I have even more terrible news for you - Cameron admitted last week that he enjoys 'afternoon delight' with SamCam and she revealed her fave new album for 'relaxing to' - The xx! Can you take the horror? To make it all better, am going to buy the 'Little Madam' card for my Dad this Father's Day from a certain genius card brand

PS Cho, big gropes back and the reason why you're feeling more upbeat is cos you're well on the way to winning your baybee! BELIEVE! (Please imagine me singing this in style of Kenny Everett giant-hands preacher >

Oh,rest of verdict...tooth being pulled in a week. Gosh what fun

Scorpette · 11/05/2010 19:57

PS Didn't see your last post, Gin. I think you should be moved up a notch to TRIPLE-hard bastard! Hope the SWI worked

Hearts ya re impeccable taste in greeting cards tho.

ginhag · 11/05/2010 20:03

Am ignoring the effect all these painkillers and anti bs would have on the chances of a boc-to-be actually implanting in the right place in me durdham downs (westcountry Wimbledon common) and resulting in an actual,y'know, baybee......

ginhag · 11/05/2010 20:04

AFFECT sorry I'm not well.

ginhag · 11/05/2010 20:09

Fuck me,ignore last post, EFFECT was really perfectly apposite.

gin, I think you might actually be my Mum! You really remind me of her at times! Can I have a Mini Milk? Can I? Can I? Can I, Mum? A Mini Milk? Can I? Mum? Muuuum? Can I?

Begone Nick Clegg. I wish to slap you.

Sorry about the tooth, Ginster's pasties. Hope you've got tooth insurance. I do admire you for shagging in that much pain - hopefully you will reap its rewards.

I am willing to bet something. I don't think Vince will be allowed anywhere near the Cabinet, or at least the Treasury. Too popular. Too clever. Too charismatic. We don't want Georgie throwing his toys out of the pram do we? Would love to be wrong of course.

Thanks all for your kind words and thoughts of yesterday. -Hugs Punches to all.

Casserole · 11/05/2010 21:07

Oh tis so depressing. Anyone else think the TV coverage feels more like someone's died?

Gordo's lovely little boys coming out with their Mum nearly made me cry.

Fanks Cho for that. I feel a little bit less mental now. Was seriously considering whether I needed some sort of pharmaceutical intervention, feel like am walking around under cartoon raincloud. But I shall hang in there.

In other news, my pain is back. It's not period pain. WTF is it? Anyway. Clearly nothing compared to Ginster's

Ariesgirl · 11/05/2010 21:13

Appendix? UTI? I was hospitalised once with pain so severe in my abdomen I was vomiting, and they thought it was my appendix, but it turned out to be "just' a UTI and antibiotics sorted it out. Or even, constipation? Not being funny, but that can be really painful in your side.

Poor lamb

Scorpette · 11/05/2010 21:23

Vincey! VINCEY! He's our only hope now!

Stewpot, your backache sounds awful. A trip to the GP might be in order; is not good it's lasting this long. Urinary tract probs can present as back ache, or mild kidney probs. Best to get it checked out (not meaning to scaremonger).

Casserole · 11/05/2010 21:23

Fanks CapricornOne I am so fecked in the head this week that even that little kindness makes me well up. I am so not fit for public company! I will keep an eye and see. It has abated again. It's been bad during / after both meals I've had today.

You've got me wondering if I should start charting my shits now

Are we still chanelling Father Ted? DRINK!!!!

PerfectDromedary · 11/05/2010 21:33

There is no hope. Fucking Baron Osborne will be chancellor.

Cass Get thee to a GP asap.

Casserole · 11/05/2010 21:37

Baron Osborne already IS.

Tis so depressing.

I already have a GP appt for Thurs morning, as luck would have it. If it gets any worse between now and then will act, thanks ladies.

I could honestly wail at the telly!! Should turn it off but am strangely transfixed. It still feels like someone's died. Oh! Weird. They just cut to No.10's door opening and a whole shedload of randoms poured out. Perhaps they've had enough already...

Medee · 11/05/2010 21:39

his middle name is Gideon ffs.

RunLyraRun · 11/05/2010 21:59

Ah well, there goes our IVF. Nick and Dave are so fecking fecund, what do they care if we aren't. Wankers.

Scorpette · 11/05/2010 22:14

'Baron Osbourne' - GENIUS!

The laughs available are most bitter and hollow indeed. The Tories want to take away all benefits for families and kids, etc., so you know the IVF is going, going, gone too. Bet their attitude will be that if you can afford a family then you can afford to shell out for numerous spendy AC goes too

CUUUUUNTS!

Am so Will be wearing DMs, mismatched fluoro socks and fingerless gloves, lacy cycling shorts and loads of blue eyeliner tomorrow for that essential 'life under a Tory government' vibe.

Anyone fancy a few chants of:

THE BESH! UNITED! WILL NEVER BE DIVIDED!

laurielou · 12/05/2010 09:15

Morning. What a black day this is. I was glued to TV last night - agree it was as if someone had died. I audibly groaned when I saw Gord's 2 little boys. They looked like such a sweet family. When it became too much I switched channels. And ended up watching Children's Hospital.

In other news managed to SWI last night, then sealed up fango with sperm-velco goop. Haha, you aged ovaries, take that!!! Back still bad & now also have a sore throat. Boo.

gin argh to tooth. Here, suck on this doughnut. Hope antibiotics are setting in.

lyra so sorry your appointment yesterday propelled you straight into IVF hell. It amazes me at the differing levels of advice from so called professionals. Am times a gazillion at you not having a lot of time at 34. I'm 37 (nearer 38), all signs indicate I ovulate, they've given me Clomid & although on the IVF list (currently about 14 months long) the "professionals" (as in FC, not Bodie & Doyle) wave their hands dismissively at me needing that, & besides "there's plenty of time". Inconsistencies anyone?

You do come out a bit shell shocked, having politely nodded your way through the appointment. I did have a list of questions when I went to my 2nd appointment, but there are still more to ask. Take some time to take stock, write your questions down & ring them for answers.

On a lighter note, am loving the idea of a BESH picnic with all our lickle BESHlets running riot skipping around whilst we lounge on a tartan blanket drinking gin sparkling mineral water.

Bessie123 · 12/05/2010 09:48

Shame on you, Nick Clegg. Shame.

Casserole first of all, get down to A&E immediately. A friend of my sis had some evil back pain on the side, saw docs (also saw docs at a&e but they were obviously sh1t). Anyway, it was undiagnosed for a few weeks, despite her vomiting and passing out from the pain. Turned out to be an ovary that had twisted several times. Because she had to live with the pain for so long, the ovary had since died and had to be removed. I think you should get to a&e to make sure it's not that because on the off chance that it is that, they will have found it fast enough for everything to be ok.

ginhag · 12/05/2010 09:55

stew also kidney infections and kidney stones cause horrible back/one side pain (have had both so I does know.)

I would say that whatever it is, there are some possible nasties that you wanna rule out, so as beshie and several others have said, see a doctor.

It's not worth guessing about really. i know you have appt tomorrow but i would call someone today.

DO AS YOU ARE TOLD NOOOOWWWWW WOMAN

ginhag · 12/05/2010 09:56

on a happy note, mani has just said 'You're not old, mummy!'

and obviously, being 2, he totally knows what he is talking about...
