Congrats Zippy! Super lovely romantic weather too...

Gosh Aries. I'm always taking the mick out of people that have 'allergies' and now I feel guilty. Disclaimer: this is because I know people that claim to be lactose intolerant and carry emergency sachets of soy milk then eat plates of double cream when they feel like it. I'm now a cow honest!

Flick you sound ilke a saint to me. I have refused to spend more than 48 hours at a stretch with my PIL. Oh dear maybe I am a cow!

Sorry to miss people off: I cannot keep up! But smiles and greetings and raspberry macaroons all round.

Meanwhile I am on D26 of a 24D cycle and having weird stringy brown spotting still. Not sure what's going on . Oh for the days when I had a clockwork womb.

Ariesgirl · 22/04/2010 08:54

You're now a cow? Thought so! Actually I can't drink milk either (am laying it on thick now). 20 minutes later my guts fill up with air, which has to be released somehow in a very antisocial way. You know when I discovered this? 3 months ago when I started eating wholegrain cereal every morning in an effort to be healthy for TTC. The irony. And the weird thing is, I can eat cheese no problem. Maybe I'm one of those people you're on about.

This makes me sound like a hypochondriac with a host of imaginary ailments. I'm not honest!

Did the doc suggest anything about the brown string? Is there much? Have you POAS yet or are you once bitten twice shy?

womanlytales · 22/04/2010 08:59

wannamummy sorry about the bfn. I hope it's just a case of perhaps too early to POAS and you get a BFP soon.
Hellow to everyone - echo the sentiment of this being an active thread and I was away for just two days. Start of my cycle and on cyle/2 of clomid -- am still recovering from the disappointment of AF showing up so am quieter.
Best of luck to all those testing this week and baby dust to everybody.

Headbanger · 22/04/2010 09:07

Oh dear God, you'd think I of all people would proof read .

Doc said nothing about the brown strings other than to be really solicitous and shove lots of blood test bags and appointment cards in my General D.! Not POAS yet, because this is what happened last month, and if I am having an mmc, I'd rather not actually know about it if you see what I mean. I'll do it at the weekend if still no proper period...Obviously on the very unlikely chance that I have won I will be SO embarrassed about having gone to the GP that I won't actually be able to tell anyone for months...

Ariesgirl · 22/04/2010 09:11

you can tell me.

Headbanger · 22/04/2010 09:14

Orl right. But promise not to laugh and slap me, should the occasion arise.

But no! I must put these thoughts from me! Begone false optimism! Onward to next month! Once more unto the breach dear friends, etc. etc.!

MrsWajs · 22/04/2010 11:19

Bloody hell! I miss one dy and we're on page 6 of a new thread already!!! Stop talking I can't keep up!!

Well first of hi to all the newbies oneof8, Loubee & Starberries good to see some new faces already!!

Evilgirraffe Thanks for the new thread!

Zippys Huge congratulations on your 'kind of' engagement! Bet you can't wait for your ring! DP had a ring made for me for my birthday this year but it turned into a disaster! I had a diamond pendant on a gold chain that I inherited from my grandmother when she died but I don't wear gold and so wanted it made into something on white gold I could wear all the time so decided on a ring. Sadly the jeweller got confused and I ended up with a yellow gold ring (and the design was hideous) so cue lots of tears on the morning of my birthday when I opened it, the silly thing was DP knew I wouldnt like it but didn't want to have nothing to give me so wrapped it up anyway!! I eventually got it re-made in white gold and a much nicer design but it has put me off having anymore jewellery made, at least by the same guy! Excited about your new car too - we got a bigger car last year to accomodate DH's son as was practically knocking myself out trying to squeeze him in the back of a 3 door everytime we went out in the car!!

Kaloki Happy belated birthday! You're a year and a bit behind me and I wish I was still 26 Hope you had a lovely day!

Wannamummy Sorry you got a BFN

Calyx Sorry to hear you're having a rough patch with DH just now, hope things get better for the two of you soon.

Pipsicles I was a bit baffled by your 'waiting for the wee to cool down' comment?? I didn't know it should be cold before you tested it?? Maybe that's where I've been going wrong all this time!

FelicityFlick Congrats on your new job!! And well done for coping with your PILs throughout it all! I would seriously be losing my rag by now, my MIL is not someone I would wish to spend very much time with at all - a day would probably be enough! It's not that I dislike her, we just have very different opinions on lots of thing and she's not the type of person to be told anything so I spend most of my time either a) saying nothing or b) pathetically agreeing half heartedly to whatever she's talking about!!

Claire196 You have reminded me that my legs desperately need shaving!! Hope DH appreciated your efforts hehe

Cavemum Hope that the extra time before your exam gives you plenty of time to practice!

Pinkie Loving the new do! Sorry that AF hasn't appeared for you yet, I really thought it wouldn't be far off! At least you're making the most of it on the vino! Hope it appears for you soon as I know how frustrated you must be feeling.

Chalky Sorry to hear things are getting a bit much for you and DH just now. Hopefully a break will do you both the world of good and you'll be back to the thread soon.

Headbanger Hope your brown goo sorts itself out soon and that it's not a mmc, fingers crossed for you.

Aries I agree with whoever suggested that you call your child adrian or christine!!

Well quite a bit of news to report here although none of it really TTC related apart from the fact (TMI) that what I thought was creamy CM turned out to be a horrendous dose of thrush so SWI has been postponed the last couple of days, not too concerned as still not convinced I've ovulated yet but then this also means I'm on for a long cycle again this month - I hate my body.

Have finally, I think, resolved things with DP's ex (in the meantime anyway). We went down to see her last night and came to an agreement over how much more often we can see DS so as well as every second weekend we are now doing every Tuesday evening for tea and every other weekend we don't have him we will take him on either the saturday or sunday afternoon. I think it went quite well and was fairly happy with the outcome but DP didn't seem as enthusiastic as me! He still has too much going on in his head re: redundancy and hasn't yet been able to find another job
Ex's mum was there too (I assume to support ex) and by god is she a sour faced old witch!! I'm sure she really just wanted to cause trouble! She starting making comments about DP not seeing DS as much in the past so I just waded in and told her that dragging up the past wasn't going to help resolve the issues now! She looked less than chuffed but didn't say much else after that - 1 point to MrsWajs!! Anyway glad for now it's all sorted, one less thing for us to be worrying about!

Loved all the meeting other half stories - mine is a belter!! I fell out of a taxi (slightly under the influence) and landed at DP's feet, having done a little forward roll and breaking my foot in the process! I'm sure he stayed with me out of pity!

Anyway I had more to say about fertility friend & GFJ but think I've written quite enough for this morning! Will endeavour to be a better thread buddy and not leave it so long to catch up next time! Hope everyone has a good day!x

claireinthecommunity · 22/04/2010 11:28

I'm away from the computer for one day and look what I've missed!!

I hope it was a happy Birthday Kaloki

Congratulations on the impending engagement Zippy, designing your own ring - wow!

Felicity, I agree with both Zippy and headbanger, you have been extremely calm and saint like to date - looking forward to hearing your DH's response...

I can't possibly respond to you all (that'll teach me to leave you for a day! )

Hello to all the newbies - you'll be made to feel very welcome here

A very busy few days coming up for us, so I may not post much, but I will try and read through so I don't miss pages again. It seems as though AF is making her slow approach, I've been getting cramps for the last few days and it just feels like she will appear soon. I'm not due till around next Tuesday at the earliest, but have found that the cramping can start as early as a week before now If she does turn up that will take us to month twelve of trying. I actually feel ok about it, rather calm and philosophical. Hitting ten months seemed harder, maybe because my tenth month was getting closer to a baby being born at the end of 2010, and if we didn't achieve it it meant going into another year. Whereas now, we're already in the next year, 2011 is when a baby would be due from now on, so I have the rest of the whole year, which has kind of taken some of the pressure off.

Hope you all have good weekends, as usual we'll be working away!

WhiteRoses · 22/04/2010 11:44

Hi everyone,

Just popping my head in cause I've been missing for a while. Nothing wrong. Was on holiday for a while and then our broadband company cut us off for not paying our bill, which we had paid... Took over a week to reconnect us though! Grr! Anyway...

Hope everyone's doing well, after a quick skim, I see congratulations are in order, Zippys - They say things come in threes, don't they? New car, new ring, new baby?! Here's hoping! So what's the ring like and how long have you to wait for it?

Also see there are a lot of new people on here so hello all! Hope to meet you all properly soon, over on the Graduates thread.

So... Anything else I've missed? Everyone alright? x

maamalady · 22/04/2010 13:08

Congratulations, zippys!

I've called the nurse - blood test says BFN, as expected. Apparently to be considered not pregnant your HCG level should be

OP posts:
kkas · 22/04/2010 13:30

hi guys! so great to have such a chatty bunch and welcome to the newbies!

zippys congrats on the engagement and new car! i'm jealous you get to pick yours up. we are still waiting (last estimate was early june....) i too am hoping your lucky #3 is a BFP!

pipsicles i am sad and bought the VIP FF membership.... i didn't have it for the first 8 months of TTC, but in a moment of crazy baby lady weakness i bought it last month. the best thing about the VIP membership is the chart overlay function as once you have a few cycles under your belt you can really start to see a pattern of the temps and can have a better idea when you'll ov. but until you've had a few months on it, there is not much difference between the free and VIP memberships IMO.

re my engagement: my DH flew to california where i was staying with my family for the summer of 2004 and came to visit for 2 weeks before i went back with him to the uk for law school in the autumn. whilst he was there, he proposed while we were on a family holiday visiting my grandparents next to a lovely waterfall that i had visited every year of my childhood. was a lovely summer evening although we were being eaten by mosquitoes so had to go inside quickly. engagement was a complete surprise to me (although we had been talking about marriage). without me knowing, he had used my sister to find out my ring size, bought me a diamond ring, smuggled it through US customs (on his pinky finger no less!) and asked my dad for his permission on the phone the week before! what an angel we got married a year later and can't believe nearly 5 years has gone by since then

EG sorry to hear about BFN but hope that your next tests start to give you some answers.

whiteroses thanks for popping in. i'll be over on the grads shortly to see what you've been up to!

Claire good luck with your gigs this weekend! hope the weather holds out again like last week

mrswajs sounds like your meeting went very well and hope that DP sorts out a job asap! such a hard time to go through i'm sure....

felicity hope you come to some arrangement with PIL soon. i think i would have gone crazy long ago if i were you! don't feel bad about wanting your own space. it is your house after all!

chalky hope you manage to get back on track soon and this break is just what you need. you never know. i was supposed to be on a break this month too and DH and i have been having much better (and frequent) sex as a result!

claire196 you inspired me to shave and seduce last night and it worked! hope you were successfull too.

hi to everyone else. so much to keep up with but it's great. keep it all coming. btw - has anyone checked out the ghost stories thread on the discussions of the day. so good!!!

Ariesgirl · 22/04/2010 13:38

Hark at all these lovely engagement stories. I feel cheated - my DH proposed on a whim in a state of post-orgasmic euphoria. We weren't anywhere remotely romantic. Once said it couldn't be un-asked. I'd already bellowed "Yes!" Imagine him bleating helplessly "I didn't mean it..."

You know it's Spring when everyone's thoughts turn to shaving their legs. My sis tried to persuade me to have them waxed the other day but I'm aghast at the thought of the pain (how will I cope with childbirth?). So the first shave of the year was akin to hacking my way through virgin rainforest. Oh how alluring. Worked in the sexual assault seduction stakes the other night mind, so get shaving wimminz. Germaine Greer would be ashamed of me, I know.

CaveMum · 22/04/2010 13:53

Aries one of the things that concerns me about childbirth is that, so I am told, the midwives like you to be tidy "down there" so that if they need to make any cuts (eek) they can do do easily.
I heard one story of a lady who hadn't had the chance to tidy things up before giving birth and the midwife used a blunt Bic razor as it was the only thing available! The words "plucked" and "chicken" were used!

Ariesgirl · 22/04/2010 14:10

Oh my God. I'm genuinely alarmed. One more thing to add to be childbirth phobia list:
being in labour for 60 hours like my cousin - check
receiving an botched epesiostomy (sp?) like my mum and being damaged as a result - check
pooing all over the bad like everyone I've ever talked to - check
deep forceps and a collapsed pelvic floor like my other cousin - check
having scoliosis and a pelvis slightly awry (that's me) so that the baby may not have room to descend, get stuck and have to have some horrible procedure - check
and now the shaved ladygarden by a hatchet-faced midwife with a blunt razor - check

Can you request a C-section in advance because you have weak moral fibre and no pain threshold? Or does there have to be a reason. The thought of labour for 60 hours and then having to have one anyway is just dreadful

OneOf8 · 22/04/2010 14:20

Hey All - wow, you guys love to post!!

FelicityFlick I have been on the "TTC from New year" so back story is on there, but long and short my body and I had a disagreement with the correct way to function, I tried to reason with it, failed, and now allowing my body to dictate.

Good news is I feel sane again, and much more positive. Although still having lapses - the partner of OH mate is expecting twins. Mouth managed the right words - but head was thinking "you don?t even love him!!! you told me you're only there for the house you ARSE". Still, if nothing else, at least we are happy.

Zippy that?s lovely news! bet you sooo excited!! OH had mine made, but not personally designed. Something special (imo) the fact it was made especially for me.

His proposal could not have gone worse - but still love the fact it resembled a comedy plot line! Something to laugh about in the nursing home!

Wannamummy Sorry 'bout the BFN

starberries how exciting! best of luck

Hope everyone else is ok

Kaloki · 22/04/2010 14:23

I was wondering that Aries

I already shave down there, but as DP pointed out, once I get big I wont be able to anyway!

felicityFlick · 22/04/2010 14:44

Well... before I speak to you all I will put you out of your misery claire and let you know the outcome of the pil debacle.... It's been a bit of a nightmare to be honest! DH went home from work whilst I went to my friend's place across the road. DH came over about two hours later with a Minnie Mouse outfit for my friend (this was an elaborate rouse ) and informed us all how awful it had been- EEKKK

Basically he had tried to get them to suggest it themselves eg 'we need to sort out sleeping arrangements for the weekend' in the hope that they would say 'Oh yes, we'll clear out of your way for the weekend' but no! He had to ASK them to stay with our friends across the road or go into a hotel- how cringy and awful for him. So mil burst in to tears and fil got all angry saying stuff like 'well we'll have to get packing our bags then' I feel sick thinking about it but I know that my parents would have offered to go elsewhere...

The story ends with DH and I returning home (I was terrified!) Mil says she understands- but bursts into tears again, fil is on the comp angrily searching for hotels..I started to cry because I genuinely felt terrible that they felt like we didn't want them! That broke the ice with fil, he came over and hugged me and mil said she was happy and that going to a hotel would be good for them etc so it is all ok- although poor DH feels like bit of a shit for kicking his parents out but it is only for 2 nights and it will do them good to leave our shoe box for a couple of days!

Phew and 1-0 to flick thanks for all the reassurance that am not a right cow cos I do feel like one at the min

claire- it's lovely to hear your calm and relaxed attitude towards approaching the year mark. You always hear stories of people conceiving when they least expect it and what with being so busy you might take your eye off the ball and have a very happy suprise

headbanger sorry you're having a confusing time of it at the min with your cycle. Your doctor actually sounds like they may have the potential to be useful... you lucky thing!

Hows Adrian aries - sorry, am still not over that! Your list made me want to vom btw. I will join you in the queue for requesting a caesarian for weak moral fibre now...

wannamummy sorry about AF but like the other frolickers have said it's not over til the fat lady sings Hang in there- sending my best AF ridding vibes your way.

Your hair sounds great pinks- even more of a honed, toned love machine now hey?!

welcome starberries we will make you a crazy baby lady in no time at all

mrswajs- what fab news! I'm so pleased for you after you've been through the mill this past month. How are your poor dp's wrists now? Fingers crossed he gets a new job soon. I want to hear more about your thoughts on FF and GFJ....! PS. I love your meeting story! You and your DH are a right pair with your broken bones aren't you?

zippys thanks so much for asking about my dad- you are SO sweet to remember. They think now that it is arthritis in his neck and shoulders. he is having cortisone injections to ease the pain and is still waiting for a special type of scan. They think that he will be able to be treated with acupuncture and these special injections. It's great to see you back at your posting best by the way I'm getting so excited about your wedding already! Do you have any time scale of when you would like it to be yet?

Good to see you back roses- Hope you had a lovely holiday and good luck for your scan in a few days! Can't wait to hear whether you're having a little boy or a girl!

kkas!! Yay- you?re back. I really want the vip membership! I think I?ll buy it after cycle 3 and when I am actually TTC properly. What a lovely engagement story Just off to check out the ghost stories now.. I?ll get back to you!

oneof8 yes, thats where I?ve seen you! I think that was when I was a lurker still Glad your happy and chilled now. Don?t worry. It?s normal to feel when you hear of preg people... just found out thata colleague is up duff and I am v.jealous- although happy of course!

Of yes cave- I?ve heard that story many times! From several reliable sources might I add... wax, wax, wax until there is nothing left for them to hack away kaloks Glad you had a suprise visit from your bro. My little bro is 18 bless him (I?m 27)

EG- rubbish about the blood test You are so lucky that you are having lots of tests and not being fobbed off. Fingers crossed that AF makes a suprise visit before weds and your next test.

Hi to cherry and newclaire and hope to see you back soon chalky

Wheres our flo today? Font of all TCOYF wisdom?!

Thanks so much for all of your support with pil issues- you girls have really kept me sane xxx

PS. written far too much again- will tell my engagement story on a day when I have nothing else to say!

haloflo · 22/04/2010 15:33

I'm here !! I took the afternoon off work as I had my first smear test today. I coped fine but was very embarrassed when the nurse noticed my poor shaving effort last week which has caused an nasty red spot. I am crap at shaving down there now so there is no way I'll be able to have the patience and dexterity when pg. Maybe a trim with scissors will suffice? Anyway less of that TMI speak, I don't want to scare any new people.

Just want to point out that I have been writing this reply since last night. I keep having to edit it as things go on but I think I've finally caught up!!

zippys Congratulations! Let us know how he does the formal ask & defiantly show us a picture of the ring when its ready. I'll ask what I always ask about new cars... what colour is it?! Glad to hear of your supportive doctor, good luck with the tests.

Felicity Congrats on your new job! I'm sure you won't feel terrified when the time to start it comes and will take it in your stride. Excellent news about more pay too (go on treat yourself to a CBFM, VIP FF....)

I'm glad you understand my excitement about my peak day - I know others aren't have a great time of it and maybe don't want to read all my positive excited self centred posts but I can't keep it myself!

I don't feel like the fountain of all TCOYF knowledge now I'm trying to practice what she says (apart from the cervix checking - respect to those of you who go for it - but it's not for me.) I'm going to get on FF after writing this to have a good look around & see what it has to offer. Comparing charts you say? That sounds good!

Poor you about IL's. I do think you are in right and not a cow! Hopefully once they move into a hotel they will enjoy the luxury. I mean don't they want to spend time alone?!

lucky A 26 day cycle or just 14 days to my BFP! Here's hoping anyway. My temp was higher yesterday morning & has made a big peak on my graph but more normal today - like a high pre ov temp. Hmm. I'll see what the next few days show. Thanks for the tips with the monitor though - they have really helped. Have a brill holiday & birthday in Ireland.

Headbanger Sorry to hear about your troubles & spotting. Let us know how you get on if you test next week but I totally understand why you wouldn't want to yet.

kaloki Happy Birthday! Glad you enjoyed your day at the zoo. I love baby animals, everything in baby form is just so much cuter.

wannamummy Sorry about BFN. I hope DH looked after you. Any sight of AF? I hope not.

pipsicles How much is VIP membership? I think I'm just going to get my head around the normal features first then see if there's anything I feel I miss out on. I am yet to do this test? I must have ignored it when I signed up. I'm going to see if I can pass it now.

kkas Your engagement story is lovely. Glad taking a break is helping your sex life. I hope you are still in the happy glow of a successful seduction. Hopefully this is your month but if not maybe stay on this break!

claire196 I hope your silky smooth legs did the trick and you are also glowing post seduction.

calyx I too hope everything is ok with you and DH, TTC is rough going sometimes. Look after yourselves for the rest of the month & hope you can start afresh next cycle.

pinkie A love a new do! I hope you are going out somewhere nice tonight/over the weekend to show it off.

chalkySorry to see you go I hope you and DH enjoy some time just the two of you & you are back in the future.

mrswajs That sounds like good news about DP's DS. Hopefully you will be ok to go again in a couple of days by which point your body will be popping out an egg as stress levels drop. I have no sight of the fabled EWCM either, clearly I wasn't drinking enough GFJ or started on it too late.

claire I hope AF stays away. Good to hear you are feeling ok if it does come. I too was set on a 2010 baby for some reason despite only starting TTC in the new year. Just having had a birthday I feel the pressure to have one before my next birthday. Completely silly to do this to ourselves!

EG Glad to hear that the docs are looking into your lack of AF. I wonder how kurly is getting on, I'm sure she would be very interested to hear how things work out for you.

aires Your list is hideous! However surely a caesarean would be awful too and horribly painful afterwards . Have you dared go into the childbirth forum? I've not & not sure I should venture in there until it's too late.

LouBee Poor DH! I hope he's fine now. Tips for keeping sane..er...I'm a crazy baby lady so I prob can't help but my biggest tip would be don't put your life on hold and keep planning things like nights out and holidays.

Oneof8 I lurked for ages (a month?) before joining, welcome! I don't suffer from migraines any time of the month so can't help you there but had to say poor you, that really isn't a pleasant side effect. Let you know your stats and we can get you on the list.

starberries Welcome to the thread!

No engagement story from me I'm afraid as I'm living in sin. There isn't really a first date story either as we were friends of friends who started snogging on nights out when I was 18. I don't exactly live the romantic dream but DP is lovely in his own way.

Right phew that's it I think! Best post this before another 7 pages appear.

halo and kaloki if you like baby animals, you'll love this cute baby leopards

don't be scared by the weird website. the link was sent to me by my russian-speaking colleague. apparently if you click on "Pesa Kaamera" you can watch them live.

OMG, no one had posted for an hour and a half! Are you all dead??!!

Aries and Felicity I am 100% with oyu on the fear of childbirth issue, but must confess that I feel so much better about since discovering Hypnobirthing.

Now don't get me wrong, it is not some weird anti-medical practise - I for one am certainly not a new-age/airey-fairy/do everything herbally kinda girl.
It is more about learning breathing techniques and listening to your body, which after all is programmed to know what to do in labour.

You can read more here

I was also conmforted by these statistics from my local practioner:

If I Learn HypnoBirthing® Am I Guaranteed a Pain Free Labour?
59% of BirthFriendly?s prior clients gave birth with no pain relief at all.
37% used only Entonox (gas and air).

One thing is for sure though, even if you do require some form of pharmaceutical pain relief, your birth will definitely be calmer and more positive!

Do you have Any Other Statistics?
The following (and above) data is based upon the last 150 births of BirthFriendly clients:

9% emergency caesarian rate (UK national average is 23%)
6% perineal damage (UK average is 60%)
93% spontaneous onset of labour (UK average of non induced labours is 79%)
46% homebirth rate (UK average is 2.3%)
8hr average length of labour (UK average is 14hrs for a first timer)
39wks 5days average gestation at birth (UK average is 41+1)

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it is not that expensive either - £135-£170 for a group course in my area, and fees include books, cds and telephone support up to giving birth.

I'm also quite taken by the fact that the lady I have found locally is also a Doula, as I had thought about whetehr to get one in case DH did end up getting posted abroad and I had to give birth witout him.

Anyway, I'm rambling on and on now, but do look at the link - it may help alay some fears.

Bloody hell, I'm doing it! There are loads of hippies in Cornwall, so there's bound to be something somewhere. I'll pay anything!

haloflo · 22/04/2010 20:38

Aww the leopards are too cute kkas!

There used to be a live link to some puppys but they are all grown up now. Here are the highlights though. I love them

cavemum Thats a really interesting site & the support you get sounds invaluable. Amazing stats too. Not in my area unfortunatly, no hippys up here.

I should be SWI'ing tonight but don't feel like it after the smear test. I hope I don't miss out because of it.

DP is watching football for now so thought i'd pop back online to see you all but clearly I have killed the thread with my post earlier. Come back everyone!

claire196 · 22/04/2010 20:56

Glad there are some fellow hypnobirth enthusiasts here and it's not just for hippies. Not sure I could hack a class though, I heard you practice shouting ?OPEN? at your uterus... Not sure if that?s true but I?m sure I?d just crack up. That said, thinking back to that list of childbirth horrors I could probably give anything a go.

pipsicles · 22/04/2010 21:08

I've been trying not to think about the horrors that will inevitably come after we all get that long awaited BFP!!! Some of that stuff sounds scary! But now it's in my mind. Not sure about the hippy thing - may have to wait until I know it's all going to happen before I really start panicking!

Lots has been going on today, but I should be getting on with other things so can't really stop and chat. Hope you're all having a good evening.

CaveMum · 22/04/2010 21:24

claire I'm sure I'd get the giggles too! I went to a yoga class a few years ago and the chanting at the end had me in hysterics - ooommmmmmmm!

haloflo if you are interested in the hypnobirthing drop them an email to see if there us anyone in your local vicinity.

So glad you ladies didn't scream "witch" at me and attempt to dunk me in the river for suggesting something "different"!!
