The current stats list is shown below, UCL means usual cycle length, and CD is cycle day.

In theory the person who starts the thread gets a BFP before the end, but I'll just be happy to get AF turn up again!

Homebound, I would say a faint line is a line But yes, retest with morning wee too (congratulations)

Welcome LankyLegs

How'd the dance class go Cavemum?

Oooh Kaloki, love the sound of the deep dark green

claireinthecommunity · 29/04/2010 21:18

"...Once a POAS - a holic, always a POAS - a holic.)..." - good to hear from you luckyseven.

CaveMum · 29/04/2010 21:35

claire class was good ta. Pretty decent turn out of 18 so I've earned my pocket money this week! Chilling out on the sofa now with an icecream and watching the last part of the Leaders Debate. Oh and looking forward to seeing DH again tomorrow

claireinthecommunity · 29/04/2010 21:54

Good to hear it Cavemum, I've often thought about attending a Salsa class. I do dance around on stage a bit though, so get quite a good work out from that

I've decamped to the bedroom, was watching the leaders debate too, but getting fed up with DH shouting at the TV!

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 22:19

It was tedious wasn't it? And Cleggy looked a bit out of his depth sadly. But he's still got my vote!

Hermya321 · 29/04/2010 23:04

Have come on here for a nosy and I see we may have a BFP from Homebound, just to say though that the first test I took I had to hold it up to the light to make sure it was a line. But a line is a line!! I'll check back tomorrow to see how you get on with your next test.

Kaloki I've got all my fingers and toes crossed for you my dear!!

Zippys Thinking of you!

Brief update from myself, I'm officially into my second trimester now at 14 weeks and 3 days. I've had my dating scan which showed an extremely wriggly and quite contrary baby (upside down and facing the sonographer instead of being co-operative and laying on it's side) which was very cool. Had a couple of other issues as well but they seem to be resolving themselves.

But on the very cool side of things, some of you may remember my driving course with Mr Nice voice earlier this year, I found out this week that I'm on another course with him next year (this is not a lusty thing, he was just such a funny guy that the thought of being in a room with his jokes and his sidekick has made the propest of that course a lot less horrific).

I hope you are all well, hello to all the newbies who I haven't met (waves). This is a lovely thread, you couldn't be anywhere more nicer.

PinkiePoo · 30/04/2010 07:00

welcome to lankylegs and homebound homelet us know.....but i am pretty sure, like the other ladies say, a line is a line. Bout time we had a BFP!!

hermya glad everything is going well for you and your pregnancy....and you got love a wriggler

cavemum i did Zumba the other morning. It was fab, i didn't teach it, i just joined in, but absolutely LOVED it. All you ladies who want to get fit and have some fun, Zumba is for you!

claire thank you for the kind words. Yes it is difficult at times, and luckily my OH is very understanding.

Feeling a little bit better after my self indulgent post....although feeling a bit under the weather. Had a headache for now 5 days, and seriously doing my head in now. I also have very sensitive nips ....could this mean AF is finally going to show her ugly head, bloody well hope so!

Well docs today, but not holding my breath....it is a male doctor after all, so zero sympathy no doubt!

Hope everyone else is doing well and looking forward to the weekend, albeit a wet one

PinkiePoo · 30/04/2010 07:02

after just re-reading my post......what is with all the negativity??

Jeez pinkie snap out of it.

Right HAPPY POSITIVE thoughts from now

CaveMum · 30/04/2010 07:22

Pinkie we're all entitled to a selfindulgent post three times a day every now and then.

Glad you had fun with the Zumba. I've not tried it but I know people who have & they all say how fun it is!

hermya it sounds like it could be good news! Let us know how you get on!

Right, must get ready for work. Have a good day everyone and fingers crossed for you Drs appointment pinkie.

kkas · 30/04/2010 08:44

Kaloki · 30/04/2010 09:26

Homebound hope you don't mind that I've left you where you are for now, but pleease hurry up and come back so we put you in the graduates and us out of our misery!!
Lankylegs have put you on the list too.

No news from me, no AF yet, temps all over the shop and resisting the urge to POAS!! DP thinks the prospect of me having hypothyroidism is laughable so obviously just me neing a hypochondriac again!!

Hope you all have a good Friday!

homebound · 30/04/2010 12:40

The anticipation nearly killed me too girls! I did a test this morning and the damn thing didnt work!!!! Ive peed on hundreds of sticks in this process and this morning of all mornings this had to happen!!! So went to town with a full bladder crossing my legs in the shop and all and bought a set of two CBDs and ran to a nearby coffee shop to pee on one....and guess who dropped it in the damn toilet!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!

Then i came home and had to wait for more pee...by that time i had decided i definately was not pregnant...but when i finally peed in a cup and stuck the stick in the fool proof way...a pretty little Pregnant 1-2 weeks came up....im still shaking and hubby is pale..lol!!!!

Phoned the doc and cant get in till next thursday so i can promise ill be taking more tests before then cause im telling you now, i dont believe it!!

You guys are all so cute with your encouragement! Thank you cause its been great, im not leaving you all yet though!!

xox

LankyLegs · 30/04/2010 12:47

Thats brilliant news!! So excited for you - and well worth the wait this morning to see it there in writing!! CONGRATS!!! :0

maamalady · 30/04/2010 13:17

Congratulations, homebound! Fantastic news!

I had more bloods taken on Wednesday, off to the doctor's on Tuesday morning to find out the results and see what I should do next. Hopefully all will be ok and I just have to carry on with the waiting game...

Aims80 · 30/04/2010 13:40

Hi! I'm new here, we just started trying this month, on CD27, usually have about a 33day cycle although never really taken that much notice of it before! I'm not charting or anything as yet, might start that in the next couple of months though, we'll see! Just wanted to say hi.

Hermya321 · 30/04/2010 13:43

CaveMum I did wonder what you were congratulating me for.

Aims Hello there, you'll love this thread, its a very lucky place to be!!

Aims80 · 30/04/2010 13:47

CaveMum · 30/04/2010 13:55

Hermaya in my defence both your names begin with 'H'
Glad the scan went well though.

Welcome Aims80 you don't have to be nuts to join, but it does help!

kkas · 30/04/2010 13:56

homebound congrats!!!! and loved the POAS story - that one goes down in the history of crazy baby ladies so happy for you

welcome aims

MrsWajs · 30/04/2010 14:32

Congrats to homebound!!! How exciting for you, also liked the POAS story!! Looks like April has been a pretty succesful month in here! Roll on May for the rest of us!

Hello to aims80 can you give us your stats and we'll put you on the list.

OneOf8 · 30/04/2010 14:51

Congrats homebound!!

Hi Aims, and Lankylegs*EG hope all goes well for Tuesday

Pinkie, hope dr went ok?

LankyLegs · 30/04/2010 15:07

Hello all!

So this thread definitely seems luck doesn't it! Lets hope that May is another good month

So I have a little question if anyone has any answers.... I don't chart, but have suspicions that my luteal phase is short as last month EWCM didn't arrive until 7 days before AF. Haven't had this any other month and normally EWCM + OPK indicates that I at least have a 10 day luteal phase. So is this a problem? I mentioned it fleetingly to my GP a couple of months ago who just shrugged me off (didn't help that she was a smug pregnant GP who wasn't very pleasant!) and said there was no such thing. Have read way too many conflicting things about luteal phase on-line and its driving me barmy!

Crickey - have done no work today and have just been lurking on here and booking big chill festival tickets... i hope they dont monitor internet at work... I hope the don't ban mumsnet like they do facebook or hotmail! Life would very much be crap from 9-5 then!
