The current stats list is shown below, UCL means usual cycle length, and CD is cycle day.

In theory the person who starts the thread gets a BFP before the end, but I'll just be happy to get AF turn up again!

haloflo nope NO sign of AF at all, thanks honey i will let you know. My cousin who is 6 months preggo with her first told me that i shouldn't lie to docs. I have been off pill for 9 months, but only TTC for 3, so was going to say i had been trying for 9, but she said to not, as if they send me for tests, it can interfere with my natural cycle or something?? I am confused how that would work.

I am feeling so pissed off now. I can't do anything until this f*ing AF shows up. Sorry ladies, but feeling it today, plus had headache for 3 days now. Love OH DD to bits, but sometimes i find it so hard, to watch him play with the best thing that ever happened to him, and im stuck in this rut!!

Sorry just taking it out on all you lovely ladies......

Now where is that chocolate and Ben and jerrys. Yes its 9.20am. Yes, i don't care.

Morning all!
Halo had to laugh at your comment about me being a hot lady!!! I am THE coldest person ever!! I'll quite happily sit in a room where everyone else is sweating with the heat and I still have on a jumper 2 pairs of socks and the heating at full tilt!! I'm always cold - although it seems not first thing in the morning!

DP had his interview yesterday and it all went very well so keeping fingers crossed for him to get started with new company asap! He is working part time at the moment for another guy which is good as it means we have more time off together but the pay is pitiful!

Just had phone consultation with the nurse at my surgery about the horrid thrush (which just keeps recurring!) I told her it always seems to happen around ov time and wondered if it was something to do with my CM?! She said - "yes it could be hormonal" and then offers me canestan pessaries to 'see how I get on', errr....so we won't be investigating the cause then, no? It bloody annoys me, I'm a nurse myself so could quite easily have come to that conclusion on my own!! Now head is full of thoughts of inhospitable CM and such like. Also had AF cramps last night so fully expected the witch to have arrived this morning, a full 5-19 days early depending on which cycle I base my usual on! She never so now panicking that maybe it was ov and we didn't SWI! Aaaaaagh
My friend was round last night and told me that her sister was pregnant, her sister who has never wanted kids ever and was on the pill!!!!! WTF?? How is that fair!!

Sorry bit of a 'me' post but needed to vent!

Fingers and toes crossed for Kaloki

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 09:23

Sorry you're on a downer Pinkie

Everything crossed for you Kaloki

MrsWajs · 29/04/2010 09:29

cross-post Pinkie sorry to hear you still haven't had AF, I know how you feel about OH DD as I was exactly the same with DP DS, it's hard when they have something you want so badly!!

Ben & Jerry's for breakfast is the best idea I've heard all week....pass it over!! x

takethatlady · 29/04/2010 09:58

Hi,
Can I join? Trying to conceive #1 - no idea how long my usual cycle is, though, as I only came off the pill recently and I was on it for 11 years. When I started it I was 16 and my periods were still all over the shop.

Am currently on my first cycle of ttc, cycle day 19.

I didn't realise how long a cycle could seem!

MrsWajs · 29/04/2010 10:15

Now convinced I have hypothyroidism!! Too much knowledge surely isn't good for you!!

Hi takethatlady of course you can join! I'll add you to the list!
You're right cycles do seem so much longer when you're actually paying attention to them!!
I'll put you on cycle 1 and then can update UCL once you get AF, is that ok??

zippys · 29/04/2010 10:59

Hi ladies. Just a quick text from my sick bed. Had the most horrific tests, end up crying when I think about it (sickness not ttc related). But wanted pop my head in. Sorry so many people ate feeling pissed off. I am too as think I ov yesterday! So I think this month is out!!!!

P.s keeping everything crossed for you kaloki

May be back later if I feel better. Xx

WhiteRoses · 29/04/2010 11:22

Zippys - just wanted to send you a huge hug. x

Ariesgirl · 29/04/2010 11:32

Poor old zippys . I really feel for you. Hope you start feeling brighter soon. Have a cuddle xx

felicityFlick · 29/04/2010 11:37

Thinking of you zippys Hope the horrid tests are at least useful and you are quickly at the bottom of your sickness after so long xxx

bunnygirl80 · 29/04/2010 11:44

Hi everyone.

It's been a while since I've looked at this thread, and you seem to have recruited lots of new people

Just thought I would update you all with my progress. Had my dating scan today and saw a lovely wriggly baby and my dates were spot on. Looks like my obsessive charting was worth it, although I had to be very restrained and not produce my graphs for the obstetrician My nausea and tiredness are starting to clear up a bit now, so hopefully I'm entering the feeling good stage of pg now

Hope you're all doing well, and I hope to see you all joining the grads thread soon

claireinthecommunity · 29/04/2010 12:15

Thinking of you Zippy x.

Good to hear from you kkas , I'd wondered how you were.

Fingers firmly crossed for you Kaloki.

Best of luck to Mrwajs for the job.

Pinkie, that must be very difficult for you, I can only imagine. It will of course be your child you see him playing with one day

Warm welcome to takethatlady

Thanks so much to you all for the advice re the situation with my GP. I'm going to just sit on it for a while, with the hope that I fall soon and won't be needing any tests or investigations

Haloflo, DH coming with me is something we've discussed, he's keen to come and probably will if the months go by much further. He too believes that my medical history 'walks in the room before I do' iyswim, and he can get quite arsey with people (in an intelligent manner). He probably gets angry and determind and will do something about it, whereas, I will get upset and wish it to all go away!

claireinthecommunity · 29/04/2010 12:17

X post there bunny, lovely to hear from you and that you are doing so well

Kaloki · 29/04/2010 12:25

zippys hope you feel better soon.

Well, the cramps have stopped and there's no AF yet. My periods normally turn up at the exact moment I cramp, so I feel a little relieved, however we all know how much our bodies like to play silly buggers with us. (Channelling my mother there)

Good news though, we think we've found a wedding venue. We may be getting married at Whipsnade Zoo. How great is that?

felicityFlick · 29/04/2010 13:41

Oh wow- what a fantastic place to get married!! I so love it there. When are you planning your wedding for? and fingers still very much crossed for AF to stay away... are you still feeling strong about waiting until next Friday to poas?

Kaloki · 29/04/2010 14:13

We are hoping to get married on Sept 10th this year, as it will be our 2 year anniversary. It's going to be a tiny little ceremony, only about 12 guests. Then a wander round the zoo. If things go to plan it'll be a pregnant wedding, but I'll be making my own dress, and hopefully DP's suit too. So costs will be down as much as possible.

Still going to try and stick it out till next Friday, want to keep my hopes up for as long as possible. Though I've started cramping again. I'm hoping it's due to feeling ill rather than AF. Was up until 7 this morning (had about 3 hours sleep) due to skin crawling, so it may be a bug.

claireinthecommunity · 29/04/2010 15:13

Oh how lovely, another frolickers wedding! Love the idea of you making your own dress and DP's suit Kaloki Will the dress be black?!

LankyLegs · 29/04/2010 16:47

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to say hi and see if I could join?! I have been a serial lurker for the last few days and have been TTC for the last 6 months!

My stats are:LankyLegs TTC#1, Cycle 6, UCL29, CD7

I can imagine you have all thought this at some stage - but why is it that you spend your entire life thinking that you can get pregnant by the drop of a hat and in reality you have to go and teach yourself biology all over again?! Slightly miffed that's it all down to 1 day! Heyhoo - like alot of ladies I am swallowing my body weight in large obscure looking tablets that call themselves food supplements and have tried the most bizarre acrobatic positions after bd'ing that I never thought I could do!

I don't think I have ever paid so much attention to my foofoo before!TMI sorry!

Looking forward to chatting to lovely peeps who are in the same position (whether that's on your head or with a pillow under your bum

CaveMum · 29/04/2010 18:22

Evening all, crazy day at work so just checking in with y'all before I head to my salsa class - busy busy busy!

zippys sorry to hear the tests were horrid. Hope you feel better soon.

Welcome takethatlady and LankyLegs fingers crossed this is a lucky thread for you both.

[waves] to everyone else

Nice to hear from you bunny.

Wedding plans sound fab kaloki

Kaloki · 29/04/2010 18:53

lankylegs No such thing as TMI in this thread lol Welcome

Claire mine will probably either a deep dark green, blue or chocolate brown. I imagine DP will be in red and black.

homebound · 29/04/2010 19:46

Hello all! I will have some seious reading ahead of me to catch up with you all! I had to come on quickly and see what everyones thoughts on faint positives were....because i just did a test and i have a faint one today!!

An update on the stats Cycle 3 CD29

Last week i was feeling like i might be then decided to ignore it because ive gotten my hopes up so many times with AF not rearing her ugly head for nearly four months once so i have had no idea when im ovulating and have been taking stabs in the dark and guestimates! Tell me what you think cause im not taking another one until i have some morning pee saved up..haha!!!

Best of luck to everyone, ill be on later on to see what you guys think!

luckyseven · 29/04/2010 21:03

homebound my first test was a very very pale pale positive line and the girls on here were the first to know about it. I then went and got a diff brand of tests and it was darker and then got a 1-2 weeks on a cb digital the next morning - so looking good!

By the way i noticed today that a two pack of clearblue digitals are £10.00 in Tesco right now (is it sad I still look at tests to see what price they are? Once a POAS - a holic, always a POAS - a holic.)

Keep us posted on what happens!
