Ok, feel a bit scared actually starting the new thread but here we are, for however long (or short) our time here may be.

Off you go ladies. Welcome () one and all.

Well done for starting a new thread. I felt too new to impose.

Sorry to all you people who are hating work. At least I don't have that. Got made redundant from my job in the summer and have been trying to go it alone with a garden design business, it is a complete career change. Very slow start, especially as I've been more interested in ttc than getting jobs in.

I'm not sure if gardening did my back in, or just running after a very lively toddler.

clareanna · 22/02/2010 22:17

coo-eee - I'm here!
If I was truly brave, I'd attempt the list - but that still scares me!

I forgot to put Vol 4 on the thread title. I hope newbies will find us.

Ok ladies, this is the lucky thread ok. I shall predict twins befor 999 posts.

OP posts:
Icedlemonmuffin · 22/02/2010 22:48

Hi I would just settle for one but dh loves the idea of twins ! Dd said it would be like at the supermarket where you buy one get one free

My sister had twin girls 15 months after I had dd so dd thought you always got two and I had lost the other one to her!!

Hope every one has a better day tommorow

Cheepz · 22/02/2010 22:51

liah you should know lee started the last thread and shes pregnant now!!

I have come too because am only very recent grad and not entirely confident to leave just yet. Besides have pals who have been here with me a long time and want to continue with support (you know who you are) and of course chip in with nosy and hopefully helpful advice for newbs.

liahgen66 · 22/02/2010 22:59

Yes I know cheepz I'm not entirely sure what you're saying. lee is on grad list. I'm sure she wouldn't mind us startig a new thread would she?

OP posts:
hippychick66 · 22/02/2010 23:06

Sorry guys I got confused. I somehow missed reading a whole page (God this thread moves fast). Then i failed to realise that a new thread had been started - I'd love to blame it on hormones but alas am probably just thick .

This is what I put on the other thread anyway, I'll carry it over:-

I am so impressed with all the resilience (spelling?) on this thread. We have all suffered a loss, we have all had our dream snatched away and yet we all got up, dusted ourselves off and started all over again (not me actually cos I'm waiting to stop bleeding, get a negative on a preg test and then have my first AF - but I include myself cos I do intend to start all over again asap).

You ladies are all very determined and strong. It is crap that we thought we would have summer babies and now we're desperately hoping for xmas, NY ones instead. Personally I had just ordered a pair of maternity jeans and was so excited about wearing them - they're on their way back to next

I was very lucky at work, I'd just announced the pregnancy at nearly 11 weeks and then lost it at 11.5. As far as I know everyone, male and femal knows what has happened and they even sent flowers. Of course you shouldn't be made to feel embarrassed about what happened - shame on anyone who makes you feel like that

I felt a bit better today and even managed to forget what had happened for a short while in Tescos. Of course I then felt guilty for forgetting my poor little one - you can't win when you're full of hormones can you.

Congrats to cheepz.Littlemiss72 I also read about that lady who lost her baby at 15+5 - I'd bumped into her on other threads - it made me sob for her - so awful!

hippychick66 · 22/02/2010 23:07

I think Cheepz is saying that it could be lucky for you that you started this thread - eg. you could get preg .

hippychick66 · 22/02/2010 23:11

pollybloodyanna Shooting pains are back again. They seem to be up both bits!!

What are you gonna do about them - docs??

liahgen, thank you so much for starting new thread and doing the list.

Sadly, frustratingly etc I'm back down at the bottom.

CCBloom · 22/02/2010 23:26

Hello all, I came on board towards the end of the last thread so just wanted to move myself on to this one.
hippychick66 I couldn't agree with you more about the resilience of everyone on here. The strength and hope people are displaying is inspiring and I can't wait to share in everyone's good news as time progresses and we all get what we ultimately want!

hippychick66 · 22/02/2010 23:33

CC Lovely positive thought as I log of for bed. Yes, lets share in everyones good news - as we all (us as well) get what we want and what we've flippin' well earned

Gi1da · 23/02/2010 09:09

Good morning all. Nice new thread - here's to many more grads before 999! Wishing everyone who had a pants day yesterday a better Tuesday and its one day closer to the weekend...

PS absolutely with you Hippy on the baby dates - I was all smug that mine would be oldest in their year but absolutely now if I have one who has to get dual birthday & xmas presents then I'm sorry but I don't care!

And a big thank you to liahgen for bringing the list

VivClicquot · 23/02/2010 09:16

I'm also with you all on the baby dates. I always thought it would be awful to have a birthday in January - everyone's broke after Xmas, the weather is awful and it's just a bleurgh month. The first baby I lost should have been due on the 19th Jan, and god knows what I'd give to have a Jan baby now.

Interestingly, 19th Jan is my DH's birthday, while Gracie (the second baby we lost) would have been due 18th May, which is my niece's birthday. Hopefully we'll be luckier next time around, while avoiding any key existing family dates.

Allthe8s · 23/02/2010 09:22

Morning everyone!

Well done liahgen66 for starting a new thread.

I wish all you lovely brave ladies a better more smiley day today

That is great news about the lady that started the thread.

xx

Cheepz · 23/02/2010 09:26

liah I meant what hippy said - Totally started 1st thread - she now has baby, can't remeber who started 2nd, thisk it was TFLS - she is now pregnant, Lee started 3rd, she is also now pregnant, sooo bodes well for you ! xx

Unbuffy · 23/02/2010 10:22

Morning girls, how is everyone on this shiny shiny new thread?

Can someone please sling me waaay back down to the bottom of the list please - not even going to bother testing as af has made her prescence known with a vengeance this morning. Not quite sure how i feel about that, but at least it explains why i've been such a miserable cow for the past week and why dh and i had a screaming row all yesterday and why i've been so hungry and craving chocolate brownies.

Craving now past (mostly) but there's lots left . Actually i think i ate too many over the weekend... slight sick feeling...

just phoned dh who is in Ikea (he's on an off shift, we are trying to fit a new kitchen, you get the idea) to give him the news and he went all shocked and said 'oh, well, not the sort of thing anyone usually says over the phone, etc' but i think he got the idea that it's a sort of excuse for being horrible recently. we're both trying to be positive, that at least (as he put it) 'everything's working'. hmmmm.

On the baby dates thing, I was looking forward to a summer/autumn baby as dd was born new year's eve and i didn't want another Christmas baby. but. Don't want to wait another whole year to get preg if i can possibly avoid it. Even if it does mean the horrors of swi regularly (have sex issues ).

Appologies for long post, also for not namechecking, hello everybody, will try to be less lurky and more present now i know what's going on and am (hopefully) less misribull.

It's snowing!

bigmuther65 · 23/02/2010 10:37

Just popped on to say thank you to liahgen66 for the lovely message you left me on the august thread just wanted you to know that i had read it also thanks hippychick littlemiss and Allthe8s sorry if i forgot anyone.
Will come and join you lady,s soon just want to get through the next few days.Shame that we all have to meet in such horrible circumstances

Unbuffy · 23/02/2010 11:19

Anybody there today or have I done my usual?

Welcome (sadly) bigmutha, it's so horrible to have to be here but we can all empathise. talking helps, and everyone here is very good at hand-holding. Good luck.

liahgen66 · 23/02/2010 11:28

hi all

First cheepz I am such a numpty, I was thinking about it in bed last night, (i know I really need to get out more) and realised what you had meant. I almost came back downstairs to post what a fool I am.

Well hopefully i will keep up the trend.

unbuffy sorry you are feeling crap, gu brownies over here if you will thank you very much, Wouldn't like to see them go to waste. I know it's good we know ur bodies are working but "hey Ok, I know now, now get me preggers"

Hi to everyone else. Lets get some positive vibes going on around here.

bigmuther I'm so sorry you will be joining us but we're a lovely bunch of ladies and when you are ready there will be loads of support over here for you. I hope the next few days are as gentle as they can be, and you are able to say goodbye to your little one.

For me, no period today so am hoping i'm going back to 28 days. When I had mc Dec 2008, I was having nice 28 days to the day, after the mc they went to 26 days and last couple were 25 days. When they were 28 days I fell very quickly, once they reduced it took over a year and it didn't work out so am hoping that my cycle becomes back to 28 days and a lovely little sticky bean.

What i am not hoping for is a WTF cycle.

Tested with cheapie today and bfn so quite sure it's not that. Has anyone else been to docs when their period didn't arrive after erpc?

Have good day everyone, amgoing to Ikea tomorrow, will get there in time for cheap brekkie. Have no money but my friend has and it's fun looking around.

OP posts:
AlbaDeTamble · 23/02/2010 11:29

Hi Unbuffy, last thing you need when you're feeling miserable is to find no-one else around, so have some of my morning snack biscuits and I'm off to boil the kettle (working from home today - so I can cry as much as I like)

Thanks to all for getting me through yesterday. Keep telling myself it can only get better... each time I update the list hoping for a new BFP to keep us all positive.

Bigmuther very very best of luck getting through the next few days, I'm sure we'll all be thinking of you and here to hand hold when you need it

funnily enough feeling better now af is actually here. was getting very gloomy and uncertain before - at least now i know where i stand. but company gratefully accepted as at home alone with grizzly toddler - you girls wot work don't know how good you've got it! If i have to read Wibbly Pig Is Happy (all 6 pages of it) one more time i think i'll go bananas. it's nice to talk to anybody over the age of 2!

Roll on the next month...

Allthe8s · 23/02/2010 11:58

Am here Unbuffy & Alba - have got no cakey things to share today though Trying to be good which is boring.

Bigmutha just sent you a note on the other thread - am thinking of you today x

I have made a boob that a feel guilty about. My stats should read TTC no 3 (sorry no idea where the hash key is on a mac!). I am not trying to forget about DD2 obviously and I have no problem talking about her but when I was on the August thread lots of people kept asking how old she was Anyway seeing as I think most of you know my story now would one of you kind ladies please change the stats when the list is next updated???? Thanks x
