Come in, come in. The wine is mulling, the bird is stuffed and cooked. We have a huge table at which to enjoy our festive feast, and the rippling Ricky Whittle is the centrepiece, draped in berries to be removed by whatever method you choose.

A bottle of Gin and an elf-man in a box awaits each and every one of you. Just make your wish and when you undo the bow he will appear.

There's a nativity tableau in the corner, for praying to the baybee Jebus and, most importantly of all, Santa has been asked to deliver the gift of exceptional fertility, so that each and every BESH can enter the new year with a baybeeee in their tum tum.

Oh, and I've let a few cats in to aid with the 2WOOFL menkulness.

Now, let's get together and get the tree up!

VAG massive congrats, really lovely news.

Bessie and congrats to you too. Get the Hello Kitty ring!

I'm going to join the tampax corner, droid appears to have arrived 5 days early. Am attempting not to think about last time this happened when it was m/c. Am sure this is just body getting back to normal and regular droid. Ironic as today was the first day I felt symptomy. Must be regular PMT. Bah. Pass the gin.

Ocarina · 13/01/2010 22:46

Arse to all these droids arriving to spoil the party.

Scorps hooray for finally getting a GP with sense - tis a miracle! Here's hoping the other one manages to do swabs without causing you major injury.....

Bessie I think I came up with some convincing sounding nonsense.... Am currently trying to decide whether starting a particular training course now is sensible rather than waiting till Sept for better location (it's spread over loads of sessions over lots of months). Sept is the sensible option without taking ttc into account, so if I go for now it won't make sense to most people (although that probably won't surprise them!), and I know that I could go for doing it now and still be ttc come Sept in which case it wouldn't have been an issue. But I don't fancy ending up not being able to do it until I've got a baby cos that would be complicated. Gah.

Sorry, that was all a bit rambly and you really didn't need to know, but am getting frustrated that I can't have the sensible conversation with anyone here cos I don't want people to know about ttc. It'd be so much easier if we were all guaranteed to be updiffed on the first attempt (and I know I no nothing of the pain of not being, if that makes sense).

Muser · 13/01/2010 23:26

Haha, according to mumsnet's ov calculator, I need to be getting jiggy in the exact week I shall be skiing. Sex in a chalet inhabited by 9 other people, hmmm, I'm not at my friskiest if I think people might overhear. And himself will be drunk constantly. And I will be drunk constantly.

God, it's practically guaranteed babymaking isn't it? What else do I need to complete it?

Ocarina · 13/01/2010 23:30

a broken leg? (really hope not, suspect in reality SWI and broken legs aren't very compatible)

Muser · 13/01/2010 23:37

No no no, no broken legs. I will however hurt in every muscle if last Saturday's ski lesson is any guide, that's good enough. I shall also have to do it the wrong way up and in the jacuzzi. Oh yes.

Ocarina · 14/01/2010 00:00

now that sounds more fun

If my experience of skiing is anything to go by, hurting in every muscle is v likely, but jacuzzi will help. (And I'm horribly unfit and rubbish at skiing, neither of which help!)

Muser · 14/01/2010 08:15

Hmm. No sign of droid this morning, not even a whisper. I hate slow starts, I never understand where I am in my cycle after them.

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 10:18

WOO for VAG NEKKID DANCING

Sorry - not been on fred cos been off sickly innit - trust me to miss this monumental news

Also Woo and Yay for BESSIE for the engagement. Muchly exciting!

Am off for a lie down...

PollyPoo · 14/01/2010 10:28

Blimmin hell Iggs, you could have someones eye out with those...

Medee how are you? Has the droid beeped? Muser maybe you have implantation bleed?

skihorse · 14/01/2010 11:17

Muser POAS POAS POAS!

Ocarina/Muser Skiing is brilliant, a 2-week ski holiday is like a get-out-of-jail-free card with respect to food. I can eat as much as I can physically stomach and still lose a stone over 2 weeks and return with thighs of steel!

ginhag · 14/01/2010 11:43

Got my appointment for 12 week scan today...

Obviously that has put me in a fucking great mood

PollyPoo · 14/01/2010 11:45

Hell Gin that is shit

ginhag · 14/01/2010 11:48

Was doubly annoying as I thought it was my gynae appt.

Can totally see how it happened. I mean, there are only 2 hospitals,my gp and the midwife that have been informed of the mc. I obviously needed to hire a fucking billboard or something.

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 11:50

gin that is a load of bollocks - I remember having to ring and cancel mine... then I binned all the info they sent me..

So much for the NHS central database of records so this kind of thing doesn't happen... um when's that happening again... duh

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 11:51

sorry gin. what fuckers. On a bright note, I did go to the website and it does look fab! I can't stand hospital/GP incompetence, or any sort of incompetence that fucks with your emotions, for that matter. Or, indeed, any sort of incompetance at all.

ginhag · 14/01/2010 11:58

Mumsnet ate my post.

I am going to fucking kill someone now.

ginhag · 14/01/2010 12:03

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 12:09

Shall I just to a crawl and see if I can finds ya?!

ginhag · 14/01/2010 12:14

If you round that way I can tell u where I'll be via t'other place! I won't stray far from earls court tho as I never do when we got a show on....

idealcamel · 14/01/2010 12:23

London! Drinks!

Tell us where you're going to be and I'll pop past and buy you a gin.

Am so sorry about the rubbish letter, lovie - must have been awful.

Muser · 14/01/2010 12:41

I am not peeing on a stick. I already used my last one yesterday! And it would be too early anyway. 4 days until droid offically due. Droid will come.

Cosmosis · 14/01/2010 12:42
