Come on in ladies, the bar is fully stocked with Advocaat, Bailey's and novelty Xmas drinkies and the slaves are wearing Ann Summer 'Santa's Hat' posing pouches. Have also festooned the place with plenty of festive tat and lots of v un-eco and tacky Xmas lights and shit because I know we all love getting Xmassy dead early. There's a fireplace so you can send your wish list to Santa up the chimbley, platters of wooden spoons and coconuts on the mantlepiece and 'Mulled Wine' scented candles lighting up The Pit of Despair. Make yourselves at home!

Went to Westfield today and failed to do Christmas shopping. Too many people! We fled and went to eat lots of Mexican food instead. What's everyone up to tonight? I have Strictly and X Factor.

Anyone done the POAS thing yet today? I want some good news!

CUNextTuesday · 12/12/2009 19:41

Ricky Whittle, well I definitely would.

Muser · 12/12/2009 19:55

Get in line!

CUNextTuesday · 12/12/2009 20:03

oi bitch he was mine before he was yours

Muser · 12/12/2009 20:04

He looks like he could cope with more than one woman. Timeshare?

CUNextTuesday · 12/12/2009 20:05

Bagsy I go first

Muser · 12/12/2009 20:15

Well I guess you did shout first.

I am now on X Factor. I don't want any of these people to win. Am I officially old now?

But I still cried when Joe's family were crying. I blame hormones.

CUNextTuesday · 12/12/2009 20:54

Yeah me too - when he sung that Luther Vandross song I was in floods (dad died in March )

If he doesn't win it's a travesty

Scorpette · 13/12/2009 00:13

OLLY! OLLY! OLLY! OLLY!

Oi! Oi! Oi!

longwee · 13/12/2009 08:03

Where's cosmo - she's supposed to be POASing this morning. We need to know woman!

PS - hi Cheggers - long time no see! What news from your womb?

skihorse · 13/12/2009 08:44

cheggers oi oi saveloy!

weewee How are you?

Scorps Further to the ski/iggy advice I also took cunty's advice last month and took an aspirin a day post-OV. Will never know of course whether it was a fundamental reason or not. But if you've bought a wooden spoon surely you won't balk at aspirin?

cheggers · 13/12/2009 09:06

hi beshies

good news from the womb.

had 20 week anomaly scan this week and all is well.

was a bit concerned as i can't feel them move yet. was a bag of nerves till i seen their hearts beating again.

still desperately wishing you lot would catch up though.

ClaireDeLoon · 13/12/2009 09:16

I P'dOAS this morning, 'twas positive. Only a POK though. Very early on day 7 though, and I guess surge must have started yesterday too.

skihorse · 13/12/2009 09:19

cheggers damnit, we're trying! I bet I sleep as much as you! I'm so glad the scan went well - do you know the sexes and will you be sharing with us?

Scorpette · 13/12/2009 10:13

Yay, Cheggers, that's great news! Twins don't move around as much cos there's less room, innit, but it must be a bit worrying to not feel 'em moving, so phew!

Ski, am allergic to aspirin (of course), so that's a no-go.

Can anyone help throw light on the weird POK thing I've been experiencing - normally, I get a 75% strength 2nd line the day before I get a 100% strength 2nd line OR the day after the 100%, ie I'm catching the start of the LH surge and then the full thing or am catching the full thing and then the tail-off. BUT I've had a 75% strength line for the last 3 days, no full line. Today is CD17 and have had FFJ since Tuesday - 6 days of it is unheard of for me (I know the difference between FFJ and exiting spermz making their way out). My temps have been a diff pattern than usual; always have a sharp drop on day I get the 100% strength POK then it rises sharply, but this month the drop was on Tues when I got a neg POK and stayed v low and only started going up yesterday. I have had appalling insomnia all this week and am worried that as a result I've not ovulated properly. This would be a crying shame, as I have wrung TYF dry all week with my hysterical demands for impregnantion ("Get in the bedroom. Now. I'm keeping my socks and glasses on"). He's a withered husk of a man, shuffling round with hands held protectively over his battered groin and a scared look in his eyes.

I know no-one will know the exact answer, but maybe a few more hardened veterans/obsessives might be knowledgeable on such things? I WANNA BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Muser · 13/12/2009 10:17

Sorry Scorps, I know nothing of opks. But I'm very amused by the keeping the socks on part.

Scorpette · 13/12/2009 10:33

PS Just put this morn's temp into FF and it reckons I OVed on Thurs (D14) - feel guilty for assaulting TYF yesterday and Fri now. Also bummed that didn't do the deed on Tues cos of his headache. Grrr, this means that despite all the molesting, I've probably only got lucky once before OV. I know that once can be all it takes, but this month, I have been approaching getting updiffed in the manner of a hardened military operation and was aiming for a spunky blitzkrieg just before OV.

Hmm, reminds me of one of my favourite songs

Muser - our bedroom is fucking freezing (flat is v small and there's nowhere else to get happy - I refuse to do it on our 'good' sofa). He kept his t-shirt on every time (I was otherwise fully nekkid as he demanded access to my chesticles. Apparently he wanted/needed there to be some erotic elements to the proceedings. Tcchuuuuhhh!)

PS Any news/developments?

OP posts:
Muser · 13/12/2009 10:55

I have been requested to keep my socks on before because I have incredibly cold feet, and apparently they take his mind off the action.

Not much news here. Just back from having my second lot of bloods done. I will have news after 5pm today.

Scorpette · 13/12/2009 11:08

I make it sound like our lovelife is awful and loveless, but it's just for comic effect. We have a good time - but I have kept my socks on (and they're pom-pommed slipper socks too!)

OP posts:
Scorpette · 13/12/2009 11:13

Fingers crossed for you later, Muser

OP posts:
skihorse · 13/12/2009 11:48

I often keep my socks on, I have fluffy bed socks but sometimes I use skiing socks. Meh, at least I take my 60 denier tights off.

Muser · 13/12/2009 11:52

Oh god. Tights. Did anyone ever watch the episode of How To Look Good Naked where the woman was so terrified of being naked that she wore sex tights when doing it with the husband?

It was the grimmest thing I'd ever heard of. Sex tights!

Scorpette · 13/12/2009 13:06

I wonder if it's too late to ask Santa for some sex tights?
