Welcome along women of a certain age. The new palace has a post modern water feature, spouting forth gin from a serious of suspicious looking humps...

skihorse · 24/10/2009 20:15

Well as per mine and iggy's successful diffed months (not together you dirty lezzers) I'm going for the sexeverynightwhetherwelikeitornot approach. It can't hurt right? Then I'm going to take an aspirin every day from OV day. Again, what do I have to lose?

givecarrotsachance · 24/10/2009 21:24

cunty moderate congrats - sticky thoughts indeed . Actually unbelievably chuffed as was having thoughts that it was never going to happen to any of us. Understand the problems but one step at a time.

givecarrotsachance · 24/10/2009 21:50

Er, bugger, yet again wrote something I read after instead of before posting, and thought "that sounds stupid and not what I meant". I didn't mean, take one step at a time in an ultra-patronising way. I just meant, I'm really pleased for you that you've taken the first step. Sorry.

CUNextTuesday · 24/10/2009 21:53

Reminds me of my favourite joke:

Alzheimers protest march

"What do we want?"
"Fuck knows"

"When do we want it?"
"Want what?"

HawaiianCuntShine · 24/10/2009 22:20

Love that one cunty! Ah, I used to be sane before all of this madness and laughter helps remind me of those days.

Bloody Mary, please and a round of G&T for my BESHies. (de-caf for the cuntster)

skihorse · 25/10/2009 17:31

Over here chicken!

givecarrotsachance · 25/10/2009 19:13

Where is everyone today??

CurlyCasper · 25/10/2009 19:20

here - briefly. Been trying to sort out our finances most of the day (along with a big of dog walking and SWI before he went off on night shift ). SFF is like a child when it comes to money, so has just been given a strict pocket money regime so that we can try to afford a new house and a baby

ski dog wandered into the bedroom. Made her a very confused little girl, and put him off his stride a few times as she tried to get into the bed! Don't know how you manage it...

OP posts:
Medee · 25/10/2009 19:29

how did I miss this?!

Anyway, droid arrived on Thursday, which is good in a way as I knew it hadn't happened this cycle and I am ready to go again.

Do I infer that Hawaii is possibly updiffed? Hurrah if so!

CurlyCasper · 25/10/2009 19:34

That would be the other cuntser Medee (see past couple of pages)

Don't know how you missed, either, us to be honest, given the theme, but at least you are here now. Shame about droid - but as you say, as least you can crack on for this cycle.

OP posts:
Medee · 25/10/2009 19:36

it must have dropped down today, as I haven't been on since Thursday. I spent nearly 7 hours yesterday on a train between Glasgow and Aberdeen (should have taken 2.5 hours!)

ta, CC.

CurlyCasper · 25/10/2009 19:40

Shit - that does not sound like a pleasant day. was it the weather or some other rail problem? Got so sick of trains up and down the country I generally fly or drive now - Prefer driving cause then you're not stranded once up there. Public transport, eh? Of course your carbon footprint will be low if you can't go anywhere!

OP posts:
Scorpette · 25/10/2009 19:48

Curly - it's not a very sentimental way to tell your kids about how they were made, is it? "Daddy put you in my tummy with a doggy's nose stuck up his bum"...

I've been loitering in and out but no-one else seemed to be around, so I didn't want to look like a Billy No-Mates even though I clearly am shouting 'Hellooooo?' and then being found sobbing in a corner by the rest of yehs

Have mainly been doing a major 'spring' clean. Because have dust allergy, TYF does all that but I do the bathroom in return. Cleaning up someone else's wayward weewee is the truest sign of love

Probably still preferable to being stuck on a train for 7 hours AND with the droid mocking you; poor Medee

CurlyCasper · 25/10/2009 20:00

Can't say I was actually planning to tell my children the details of their conception scorps! (well, dear, I think that was the night daddy had to be dragged away from watching Have I Got News for You, or perhaps it was the Grand Prix? Anyway, we went to the bedroom and daddy got mummy all lub...) erm, no

Are yours going to hear how brave daddy risked further damage to his broken manparts and mummy was nearly sectioned for her insane 2woofling just so they could be brought into this world?

OP posts:
Scorpette · 25/10/2009 20:04

Erm, possibly not. Actually, I'm being quite restrained this 2WOOFL. Perhaps am getting used to the whole waiting game now and am a bit more chilled (ie not trying to imagine up a symptom every 15 seconds or more )...

But I'll always be remembered as a menkul, won't I? BAH!

skihorse · 25/10/2009 20:07
  • restrained? Aren't you currently only 4DPO? That's nuffink!
CurlyCasper · 25/10/2009 20:14

chilled is good - hope you stick with it! You know we love you being the resident menkul. After all, someone's got to be.

Still Google hypochrondiac-ing here. Face looks like pizza with these hive type things on top of spots (TMI?) Just can't work out what it is. Might give me 'scuse to go to GP and ask baby fail related Qs while there. I'm sick of being in pain and knackered already, but think it's too soon for them to take me seriously. I just can't face the idea of being at the mercy of untreated RA for months and months.

Sorry that was a whinge. I think I'll go eat cake, iron clothes (yippee, hold me back!) and see what blast from the past rejects they've dug out and onto the x-factor stage this week.

OP posts:
CurlyCasper · 25/10/2009 20:17

ski How the hell do you have such a good knowledge of everyone's cycles? Is it your "thing"? Mine are birthdays and phone numbers. Yours, random strangers' menstrual cycles

OP posts:
skihorse · 25/10/2009 20:34

I'm absolutely terribly with names, shockingly bad. Numbers are my thing - hence I can do cycles.

I ran out of gin last night and will treat myself to a new bottle once we've moved. One bathroom and one bedroom are now cleared, in boxes and in the kitchen waiting to be loaded in to a van, it's going to be a rough week.

Nipped up to the stables with my visitor yesterday and got my girl in from the field... whilst leading her she was mounted ! If she gets a BFP before me I'll be livid!

idealcamel · 25/10/2009 20:41

Ahahaha! I have returned from lovely visit to gorgeous beautiful friend in t'North. It's way nicer there than bloody London. Possibly because it contains gorgeous beautiful friend who is much more sane than me but who is also very capable of sympathising with the barrenness. I do feel better.

Scorp - you is our resident menkul in the attic. Please don't change. I still think that anything my body does after ovulation MUST mean I'm updiffed and I don't want to be alone in my madness. Selfish? Moi?

Medee - sorry about droid and train. Do we have to add trains to the list of things guaranteed to make periods happen? If so, have no chance of baybeeeez.

CC - cry at your dr. Or potentially say that the lack of medication makes it quite urgent that you find out whether or not you can get preggers?

Scorpette · 25/10/2009 20:57

So Ski has a giant spreadsheet of all our menstrual cycles like a helpful serial killer but I'M the menkul for thinking things like 'Oooh, DPO9 and I feel a bit sick; could it be...?'??!?!?!?!? How does that work?

skihorse · 25/10/2009 21:01

Um, because you spot symptoms BEFORE you ovulate you nutter! - Now, if I were the stand alone voice here Scorps you might have a case...

Scorpette · 25/10/2009 21:03

See? Cameltoe is far madder than me - she just keeps quiet about it whilst I blurt out my worries. I only attribute 70-80% of all physical sensations to updiff during 2WOOFL, I'll have you know! Hmmmph. Still, so long as me and her are flowers in the attic, then it's not so bad

Re: train plus droid - I think any situation where it would be particularly awkward, uncomfortable and intrusive brings it on, ie, conference, camping, stuck on a train...

Scorpette · 25/10/2009 21:04

WHEN have I ever spotted symptoms before ovulating? Prove it (I will deny all evidence anyway)!

idealcamel · 25/10/2009 21:14

You may have symptom-spotted before ovulation, Ms S, but we have those among us who have POAS during & after their periods...
