Welcome along women of a certain age. The new palace has a post modern water feature, spouting forth gin from a serious of suspicious looking humps...

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 12:46

scorpe your temp is still high, I'm still feeling positive for you.

Scorpette · 01/11/2009 12:50

I can heartily recommend all of the brands on there. The ice-cream I can have is Booja Booja. £5.95 a tub, though! Some of those bars don't taste like normal choc, but still taste delish, IYKWIM. Check out this and this and most of all THIS

Bear in mind if you eat too much they will still affect you sugar-wise. Too much of a good thing and all that.

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 12:52

scorpe how many days post ov are you and what is your normal LP length?? IIWY I would POAS anyway, while your temps are high. Don't think you have yet or am I wrong?

My temps still low much to YOB's disgust

Feeling better than yesterday when I was feeling really rubbish. Assuming therefore that temp will spike tomorrow - can't wait to stop having to have sex all the time...

Miserable out there, DS is grumpy coz he's stuck inside but trying to stay perky anyway.

Nipple twists all round

Scorpette · 01/11/2009 12:52

PS Thanks Carrots. I wish I had your faith Think the temp will dip the day before or day of, the mighty tide in full...

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 12:53

at current buttery topics!!

Scorpette · 01/11/2009 12:55

Am DPO 11. LP length seems to be 12 days on average, no more than 14. OVed on D15 of cycle, so today is D26 of cycle. I can tell the droid is imminent.

D11 is too early anyway and I refuse to waste good money on a fancy-shmancy super-early test when all it'll do is burst out laughing and yell 'Dream on, Grandma! What do you think that red stuff is in your knickers - scotch mist?!' at me...

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 12:55

scorpe well pee anyway, huh? Pweeze? I'm going out of my mind here over your barking, and I've got my own problems to deal with

Coor, high maintenance via MN or wot?

Anyone else in scorpe's shoes?

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 12:57

OK cross post

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 12:57

I understand, I'm just going nuts for ya!

Cosmosis · 01/11/2009 13:34

scorps this is utter torture. When I read your veiny tits post I was convinced, but now red gunk? What gives?? mind you my friend had what seemed like normal periods for the first 4 months or so of all 3 of her pregs so who knows.

Any now, today no symptoms at all for me, so I fear all the others were in my head.

Cosmosis · 01/11/2009 13:37

Oh yeah, the long version (glad you didn't have to go last night) - dad from liverpool, mum from brum. Born chesire, age 3 move to the netherlands, age 7 move to surrey, age 19 move to edinburgh, age 25 move to yorkshire.

So I never really know what to answer to the where are you from q. Generally I say surrey as that's where I spent most of my childhood, but I don't really feel "from" there.

Scorpette · 01/11/2009 14:07

Don't go telling me stuff about people being updiffed and having periods! My nerves (and subsequently the nerves of everyone reading my witterings) can't handle that kind of mindfuck!

(As if I haven't desperately been trying to tell myself that's what it is )

What's your accent like, then, Cosmo? Is it just one of those nice 'generic' Southern-ish ones?

I've accepted that the droid is virtually upon me. Now you lot have to accept it too. Be strong, my pretties, be strong!

PS When I say 'veiny tits' I really mean it - when you're as pale as milk anyway, you're pretty veiny to start off with!

Think we should refer to updiffed breasts as Stilton Norks from now on

Scorpette · 01/11/2009 14:08

Or Stilton Tits.

I've put too much thought into this, haven't I?

Cosmosis · 01/11/2009 14:10

Yeah, generic southern I guess, but I mostly don't say grarse and barth any more, but neither do I say a really strong northern a.

I am still thinking stilton norks (i like it!) must be a diff sign surely??

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 15:39

cosmo you really are going to have to tell me where in (rough!) Yorkshire you are - FB me.

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 15:44

cosmo but what's happening - symptoms can't just just "gone" completely...

Also wanting an update on everyone please. Ski did you SWI at the appropriate time? Casper I know YOU did so are you now on 2barking? Did you OV yet? What are your temps like?

Who else is doing what and where? I can't cope with not knowing! I need to know what is GOING OOOOOONNNNNNNN [slightly frantic emoticon].

PollyPoo · 01/11/2009 15:55

Thanks Scorps I am drooling at all that chocolate... I have ordered myself a selection under the pretence that I need to try it before I buy some for SIL at xmas (she is also on anti-candida diet).

Have you still got Stilton Norks? Mine magically disappeared when I stopped fantasising

Well Carrots I don't think I'll be getting diffed this month - I'm on day 11, the FFJ is there but last night we were too tired again and today TG is in a pissy mood and its all my fault. I accepted an invite to his mothers for sunday lunch, then told him yesterday that he and Boo could go, and I would do household/shopping stuff instead. He is not impressed at having to suffer his mother alone! I have done shopping and washing and now I'm curled up on the sofa with columbo on tv and the dog curled up next to me, bliss . I suppose I should get off my arse and cook him something nice for dinner so that he might forgive me and then impregnate me later.

Hmmm Ski has been very quiet so I think she must have been SWI all weekend

Cosmosis · 01/11/2009 16:01

Carrots, well I still have a bit extra saliva, and yesterday I didn't feel queasy till evening, so it's possible I will feel queasy later, but other than that, nothing much left. Cramping wombular area gone, no stilton norks (although they are slightly tender).

givecarrotsachance · 01/11/2009 16:39

cosmo what day are you on?

pooeygirl oh yes you get off your bottom and make your hubby happy . Otherwise you will miss a whole month - it's worth a bit of cooking, isn't it?

PollyPoo · 01/11/2009 16:48

Cosmo if its any help I didn't really notice any symptoms when I was diffed with Boo until after I got BFP, apart from slightly tender norks (which I get every month anyway).

In fact, I seem to remember being utterly shocked when the two lines came up on the test. Mind you, I hadn't discovered mumsnet back then and who knows what symptoms I'd have discovered if I'd had the power of all this knowledge back then. Do you ever wonder if too much knowledge is a bad thing?!

Ok ok Carrots I'm heading off into the kitchen to try and make an aphrodisiac chili... any tips anyone?!

longwee · 01/11/2009 16:58

I have considered my norks. Looking at them from above they do not look veiny. However looking at them straight on - ie in the mirror - they definitely do. But since I don't usually look at them from that angle I can't really compare with what they are usually like. They are bulging out of their E cups though (Please be gentle while groping, they are quite tender)

Carrots, for your records I'm on CD29 but no sign of the droid. Have occasional womby feelings but I PO2Ss and both said no. So I am starting to think that the long haul flights have messed with my cycles (have been on the pill for years so they won't have done anything recently, but years ago I flew to Australia and didn't have a period for 4 months)

I am going camping next weekend so if I haven't got the droid by then no doubt that'll sort it...

PollyPoo · 01/11/2009 17:08

I think I need to go and consider my norks so that I have something to compare to in a couple of weeks time. Maybe I will even take a photo

CUNextTuesday · 01/11/2009 17:16

Nork consideration is Very Important. Mine kill and my nips are like dinner plates. Not a good look, although no complaints have been forthcoming

CurlyCasper · 01/11/2009 17:44

carrots I'm menkuling indeed. Temps still up (hurray! still grinning to myself, saddo!), Tits a bit tender and I feel queasy. Only 4 days past suspected ovulation though...

Sickness could be related to the agony I have been in past 24 hours. My right shoulder froze up this time (was my left a few weeks ago) to the extent that after SFF accidentally woke me at 1am with a kick (thanks darling) I could not lie in any position without extreme pain.
Despite my very high pain threshold (have rarely had a day without any pain since I was 16) I ended up pacing around in tears and eventually took myself off to the sofa where I piled up the pillows and let the dog curl up at my feet (quite good actually, cause it meant I could not roll over and wake myself again with the resulting agony). That was at 3am.
At least I managed to get three hours' sleep in and take my temp at the usual 6am time. Yup, not even a ridiculous amount of pain can stop my dedication to TTC/2WOOFL

Several paracetamol later, my shoulder is much better (just burning now, rather than "drilling" pain) but i feel sick.

What stage are you at yourself rootveg? (Just watched the dog toss a carrot all over the living room, by the way, highly amusing)

Scorpo I refuse to believe the fulsome wench has performed her tune yet, especially after what you said about family history of "periods" while pregnant. However, I do respect the decision to hold off on testing.

Polly I have a tip - serve the chilli with your norks out. That should give him a clear signal - and you can inspect them while you are at it.

Had to LOL at scorps ref to veins showing up on very pale skin anyway - that's one symptom and can claim every day of my cycle. Can't imagine how clear they will be if when I get pregnant

Zat enough? no wonder my bloody arm hurts...

I'm still on choc overload from last night (must rid house of all leftover Halloween candy!) It was a slow night, not nearly the 35 rounds we got last year, and sweet DH always spoils the kids, you should have seen the likle faces when he literally took the bowl and dumped some into their bags last night - total shock and delight!

Polly Cunty and Carrots* special twists to you - you all make me laugh!

You BESHies really know how to do the 2WOOFL! Crack me up you do!!! Although, scorpalina I really did have high hopes for you this time around. Therefore I shall turn myself in peacefully, as long as you held up your end of the bargain with a tall, well build cop. (Is this t-shirt revealing enough?) Never mind the scent of Hawaiian Tropic in the air, that's just me .

I'm on a countdown too - 6 days until THREE freezer beezers are injected through crazy staw to my tumtum. Then I get to start the magical 2WOOFLing. You think I can have a day release on Friday, right???

Chocho where are you with your 5 baybeez anyway??? I've got a name picked out for #2, I called 'em first!!!

BTW what is a "snog" anyway? I've looked up the British slang to American dictionary - but nuttin!
