bess some sites say sperm can live up to five days. More like 1-3 I think. So if you had "a good environment" with some FFJ to hold it in there from the Saturday, it could well have still been alive enough to meet your egg on the Tuesday and make a baybeee. Every woman is different but it does not seem out of the ordinary to be fertile in the three to four days before ovulation.

P.s There is a theory that only "girl" sperm survive more than one day (cos we're tough) so some people might say that if sperm did meet egg on Tues, that's what you'll be having. All speculation as far as i can see. Or should that be ejaculation?

bessie a sane person would say that you should wait till you are actually late to POAS..

But as a BESH, I'm going to say POAS asap - if you've got a first response or CBD I'd say about 10 days after ov should do it

bessie I've heard that the superdrug own brand sticks are more sensitive than the CBD. Something to do with the percentage or concentration of hcg they can pick up. But in any case I think Fri is the earliest you can POAS.

Slightly embarassed to say I'm pissed on white wine (how middle class) but am happy to pretend it's absinthe.

I know, I know, it's day 12 and I shouldn't be but it's all got too much. Ex problems, money problems and just problems. NTM DS is away from home and has been since Friday (due to half term and me having to work) so I'm missing him terrribly. And I've still not got skweltchy (how TF do you spell that?) knickers so I'm NEVEREVEREVER going to ovulate. Boo hoo is me and therefore wine is drunk.

Please, someone, give me a stonking great F-Off kick coz I need it.

Igs, you're not paranoid; everyone is shagging in Feb cos they want a Scorpette o their own. Scorpios are the best, innit? No, seriously, we ARE. Also, Feb is cold, miserable and fuck-boring.

Well, I've been with my bestest RL friends (who are handily a couple) all day who I hardly ever see. Told them about TTC and they were really cool (although the guy had 2 kids with his ex-wife and each one was a one-shot deal ). They don't live near us and won't be asking me every 5 mins about 'any news'. She got married young at 18 and started TTC at 19 and it took her quote a long time, so that's a good reminder that teens don't always updiff when they so much as see a pair of men's pants on a washing line. She also gave me some good tips about drugs 'n' shiz during labour. So nice to actually tell someone in RL who'll be cool

ginhag my sentiments exactly... I miss all of you BESHies and I look in from time to time, but I'm trying to spend more time out of the house and not thinking about all this wooden-spoon related stuff.

I just prefer to drink and mutter to myself at the dark table in the corner (soz I can keeps an eye on you all).

My due date was 10th Nov - so babyfail would have been a Scorpio too - but never mind.. not to dwell on the misery...
