(Am actually really anti-fur) George Clooney is as gay as a badger in drag, can't help you, sorry!

triggerhappybaby · 12/08/2009 13:41

Look, without wishing to tediously press the point home - is Kevin Spacey gay or NOT? An afternoon of potentially wasted taxpayers' money rests on the answer.

OP posts:
Bessie123 · 12/08/2009 13:46

yes, kevin spacey is very gay. Sorry.

skihorse · 12/08/2009 13:46

Well trog, it's said that in addition to Mandy he also took a young post-whateverthatprogrammewas Colin Farrel under his um "wing" when Colin first moved to Hollywood. Colin was happy to play along because he got introduced to the playas.

Anyway, with Baby P's mother being named and shamed - who's our mummy-heroine now? Her or Karen Matthews? I'm still gunning for Karen in her simplistic brilliance.

Cosmosis · 12/08/2009 13:49

I don't care if he's gay or not, I'd do him.

triggerhappybaby · 12/08/2009 13:56

Any one of the girls that was on 'The Trouble with Girls' on BBC2 the night before last. You johnny foreigner types won't have seen it, but it was yr standard adidas trackie bottoms-reebok classics-can't get pregnant when you do it standing up fayre. However, these girls were so Fick and yet thought themselves so SAVVY, despite them having only about one and a half teeth between them, including their boyfriends. I've never seen such a collection of blatant meth-mouths in all my born days. God I'm bored I'll have a kid. I ain't never having kids no way cos like I wanna have a life an that innit...one week later...yeah me and Daz are havin a baby like innit yeh it's like due tomorrow and we've just been thrown out of us house like cos the pitbull bit the landlord so i wuz finkin i'll have the kid round the back of Asda next to the bins so's I'll hav summat to feed it on innit and in any case i'm gonna have its ears pierced when its two hours old an i'm gonna call it Akon J-Zee cos thats a well good name and they is both well fit innit.

Trog I didn't realise Kevin Spacey was gay either. I have no gaydar and have astounded a few people recently by 'not realising' someone or other was gay when it was apparently obvious to all. I blame the fact that OH is as camp as a row of tents so virtually all other men seem extremely heterosexual by comparison. He swears he's never had it up him from another man though. Nor wants it. Still don't entirely believe him

Scorpette · 12/08/2009 14:19

trig I saw that show. I called TYF in so we could snuggle up and wear our judgeypants in perfect unison. They were exactly like that girl I talked about on that old AIBU thread wot I started. One of our favourite things was how jaw-droppingly racist they all were, yet 2 of them (sisters) were half-Bengali and looked a bit Asian too. And the smoking. The endless smoking whilst heavily pregnant. A true delight for the discerning BESH connoisseur...

I think I am getting to the stage of needing psychiatric intervention for my hatred of useless, slaggy, awful, uncaring teenybopper mums

Kadir-Buxton - EEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

skihorse · 12/08/2009 14:29

Oooh I know what I'm downloading to watch when I get home tonight! I loves a good judge I does.

iggypiggy · 12/08/2009 14:30

um... a question... do you take new members to your thread?

VeryAngryGusset · 12/08/2009 14:35

  1. what COLOUR are your walls?
  2. how many CATS do you own?
  3. have you EVER used the word babydust except in jest?
  4. is the DAILY MAIL an (a) excellent and informative newspaper; or (b) criminal use of trees?
  5. who is your SECRET crush of SHAME? (nb must not be conventionally attractive)
  6. who would play YOU in a Sunday evening ITV drama?
  7. is it your ROUND?

Fee for completing questionnaire: Crate of gin and pallet of Percy Pigs.

longwee · 12/08/2009 14:38

Scorp - it's also quite shocking how many MNers are just out to be unnecessarily snidey, sarky or insistent on twisting others' comments to try to look clever while ignoring the original point of a thread and the fact that not everyone has exactly the same life experience as them. It's like the fucking playground out there. Glad there's enough maturity in the gin palace to avoid that shit (while also having enough immaturity to get drunk and laugh at fart gags)

skihorse · 12/08/2009 14:41

Well that one has issues, from her very first post on that thread she was looking for a fight. God alone knows why.

Cosmosis · 12/08/2009 14:48

Colin Jackson. there's another one I've always fancied and he's gay too. Took me ages to find that out.

Bessie123 · 12/08/2009 14:48

oh come on, everyone gets a bit feisty sometimes, right? I think one of the good things about an anonymous board is that you can get much more feisty with people than you would want to irl, good outlet for when you're feeling hormonal

Bessie123 · 12/08/2009 14:49

snigger @ cosmosis

HoneyPetal · 12/08/2009 14:50

Colin Jackson is gay?? Gutted....

Scorpette · 12/08/2009 14:51

Ski - you get those sorts of women who, if you say something about your experiences that doesn't tally with theirs, they think you're insulting them and theirs and insinuating all sorts of crap that you're just not. It's like they expect you to psychically know everything about them and their life and if you say something that touches a nerve, it's like you're doing it deliberately. It's as though you're betraying them as a fellow female by not having a hive mind. I reread what I'd wrote and I hadn't said all the crap she was on about.

Accuses me of getting personal... THEN basically says that we in the Gin Palace are just being neurotic about TTC when there's people with real problems.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway, fuck that. Am pissed off longwee's v. good thread was/is being hijacked with that crap.

WELCOME NEWBIES!/Abandon hope all ye who enter...

PS Ski you'll want your luxury judging pants on for that one

longwee · 12/08/2009 14:53

There's getting feisty (and we get pretty physical here in the gin palace), and there's being snidey, sarky and unnecessarily unpleasant for no good reason but oneupmanship. A lot of these threads are asking for an opinion, and as I see it there are too many people who think theirs is the only opinion and everyone else is wrong. Got no time for that personally

Scorpette · 12/08/2009 14:53

PS Bessie - nah, I was miles more restrained on here than I would be in RL

Anyway, we BESHes protect our own. It's basically a coven.

Bessie123 · 12/08/2009 14:54

cool, i've always wanted to be in a coven

skihorse · 12/08/2009 14:55

Bessie I disagree - life is too short to go LOOKING for trouble on messageboards - I think it's really, really sad - I mean good god, haven't people got anything better to do with their lives? Better ways of relieving stress?

Scorpette Look at her profile page - absolutely shed loads of material to get judgey about.

I thought it was a shame too that longwee's thread was hijacked - I mean ffs she's another oldie who got pregnant via IVF who is probably just (now) another unemployed-meeja wanker whose parents paid for her IVF. Career my arse? Runner/professional drunk for a production company doesn't make you Mother Therese.
