Cheers Laurie.

iggypiggy · 20/08/2009 09:48

scorp hmmm I don't know the people getting married - but I do know that they aren't a bride and groom but would they be bride & bride prolly not... anyway - I am NFI which is ok - because they only inviting people they know - not their partners.. But the beeyatches are messing with my SWI plans!

seems Thailand not dead cert then still wanna go tho!

re: OPKs - I did early evening (straight after work) and I did get a positive - then two days of lighter lines after that... But still not updiffed.. hence me saying they not work for me. But they kind of do...

I might not be bothering you BESHs too much today - got works to do innit.

scorp hope job situ turns out ok. Stress v. bad for SWI plans... Is partly what messed up mine last month.

VeryAngryGusset · 20/08/2009 09:48

Morning lushes. Am I the only one who spent a good minute trying to work out what 'hob' was an acronym for?

iggypiggy · 20/08/2009 09:49

VAG it is a hairdressers in Marylebone in my head... 'Hair on Broadway' I think

Cosmosis · 20/08/2009 09:51

Howdy palace residents. My round, what's everyone want? Irish espresso to start the day off nicely?

VeryAngryGusset · 20/08/2009 09:52

So tyf and scorpy's Dad are hairdressers then? Ooh do they do BESH rates?

longwee · 20/08/2009 09:53

OK this TTC malarkey is officially turning me into a neurotic loon. We?ve missed the boat this month as fella was ?too tired? at the crucial time earlier this week. We were originally avoiding the ?official trying? route of timetabled shagging at the right time and just seeing what happens. But after 9 months of nothing happening that way, then my m/c - and my BOD is in less than a month - then I really wanna get on with it. So it?s driving me crazy that he?s letting another month pass by coz he?s a bit sleepy after work. It was all I could do not to yell ?shag me goddammit I?m ovulating - it?s you who wants a fucking baby - we ain?t gonna get one by taking folic acid and talking about it?. Honestly it?s turning me into frigging lunatic

iggypiggy · 20/08/2009 10:08

longwee that's what happen to me last month - I had full on hissy fit/ tantrum it turning me nuts.

skihorse · 20/08/2009 10:14

longwee you know you're on that slippery slope when you snarl "you're fucking me whether you like it or not" - when you feel there's a possibility that some courts would frown upon your behaviour - you've gone too far.

Well I POAS this morning in response to being awoken at 5am by a "poke" (implantation poke? ) and nothing - although jailbait's just told me that he saw a faint line. Bah fucking humbugs. I am now going to wait until Saturday to test again.

Cosmosis · 20/08/2009 10:21

ski he didn't let you poas yourself did he? That's where you went wrong. Remember he's younger than you so is better at all this newfangled technology.

longwee yup, neurotic mess sounds about right. Me and TGO (you all have cool names for your blokes so I'm jumping on that bandwaggon, it means The Ginger One) had a ow discussion the other day about whether or not me having no pmt and 3 days of RT(rickle)OD instead of T(ide) means that I am ovulating or not. He is insistent it has no bearing. I am insistent it means I am a Barren Old Hag.

longwee · 20/08/2009 10:22

aaggghhhhh - even friggin inanimate objects (piss sticks) completely mess with our heads. No wonder we're all going mental.

Good luck mate, and a kick in the shins to go with it

Cosmosis · 20/08/2009 10:22

a ow? a row.

Scorpette · 20/08/2009 10:32

Piss off, the lot of yer! One measly typo... hmmmph It's TYF's own Dad who's his boss, not my Dad. My Dad is retired n lovin' it. And TYF and his Dad aren't hairdressers either.

Seeing as I stress about everything like an absolute loon, I think my babymaking bits are already used to a high level of internal 'aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh'!

Oh, FFJ, where for art thou (you fucking bastard)?

Right, orf to work. Meh.

Cosmosis · 20/08/2009 10:34

Shame, a hairdressing boyf would just be so handy. You'd never need to have a bad hair day.

skihorse · 20/08/2009 10:59

Cosmosis I fear we'd have less chance of getting pregnant than we're currently experiencing.

Btw - does anyone know if you become an up-your-own-arse aspirational bitch during pregnancy or does it only really kick in post-partum?

triggerhappybaby · 20/08/2009 11:05

Cosmo I have a hairdressing stepdaughter and it hasn't done me a bit of good

Actually, untrue because she did some fab highlights for me for her trades test. Grown out now and dyed over.

Thank goodness for on-the-hob training eh?

Cosmosis · 20/08/2009 11:10

Who's got your goat now ski?

triggerhappybaby · 20/08/2009 11:11

lol @ ski's goat being got on again.

skihorse · 20/08/2009 11:25

haha I'm just stunned by the horror exhibited on AIBUONDYC? about a woman who has discovered her cleaner had a cup of tea! Cup of tea! Next she'll be shitting in the wardrobes, fucking the husband and stealing the Kath Kidston valence sheet.

triggerhappybaby · 20/08/2009 11:27

It's amazaing how little some women have to fill their day with...

OP posts:
triggerhappybaby · 20/08/2009 11:27

oooo invented a new word!

OP posts:
skihorse · 20/08/2009 11:36

You're right trog - I just find it startling I suppose that there appear to be so many people out there who're unable to make a decision without assistance - and, as you say - whose lives are utterly consumed by the teabag -1 situation!

AIBU to think that Afghanistan's tribal warlords are still running the country, that food for sex is wrong and Hilary Clinton makes good points?

vs.

AIBU to think that Kath Kidston stuff is just like the bestest-westest ever-er?

Scorpette · 20/08/2009 12:06

On-the-hob experience prepares you for the pressure cooker environment of work.

I thang yew!

That cuppatea bint made me howl. Next thing you know her slave cleaner will want paying! Cuh, the cheek of some people!

donttrythisathome · 20/08/2009 14:30

Cos I think an ow is when you give them an enraged kick in the head for not shagging you.
