Well in to my 2WW now - RTOD due Thursday and I managed to puke yesterday.

We were coming down the slip road on to the motorway and I had a sudden wave of nausea - turned to jailbait and said "do we have a bag in the car?", he thought we were going shopping. He didn't grab the bag it time - I turned to face him and my cheeks swelled - at the last second I chose to vom down myself. He promptly turned green and started barfing out of his window.

Brits abroad eh?

Cosmosis · 17/08/2009 09:32

ski you classy bird. I know you were hangin' wiv da kids and all that, but you can take this yoof business too far you know.

I have a dutch colleague who laughs at my dutch accent, he is a southerner and apparently my accent is a very strong Hague accent. Well I was only 7 when I stopped speaking it

skihorse · 17/08/2009 10:09

I really don't mind any of the accents I hear - I suppose it's just like in the UK when we hear a strong Welsh accent we might raise an eyebrow - and I'm sure immigrants struggle with a geordie accent. People from Friesland are supposed to be a law unto themselves. My great-grandfather was captain of a ship and used to take my great-granny with him. The docked somewhere in the north of NL and she was trying to buy a bone for the dog. Frustrated she yelled at him in her Scot's dialect - and they understood perfectly...

Oh I'm a classy bird 100% - although jailbait's inability to deal with puke does not bode well with the possibility of a little person.

iggypiggy · 17/08/2009 10:13

morning all

RTOD arrived and I have been right sour beeyatch - so am here foist my misery on you lot

ski puke... oh dear... for why you feel so sick tho?

Cosmosis · 17/08/2009 10:19

bitch away iggy, we're all pissed so will either join in or ignore you.

iggypiggy · 17/08/2009 10:26

cosmosis excellent - will do

Anyway - is all very boring - am in massive grump because I thought updiffedness was suppose to be extra easy after a MC - so v. grumbly at now being 4 months passed that and still no sign of pigging updiffedness.. starting to look jealously at updiffed women - which is utter madness and I did promise myself i wouldn't... the longer it takes - the older I get and if I have another MC... all i do is get older ,grumble grumble>

So - on another note - did everyone do nice things in the sun at the weekend?

Cosmosis · 17/08/2009 10:38

Ah the jealousy at updiffed ladies. tick. And the staring into prams like some freaky baby snatcher lady. tick. Also the extra disapproving looks if they are doing something to make the judgypants twitch, like smoking a faaaag whilst pushing said pram with tiny baby in.

Although I did make friends in burger king high class lunch establishment last week with the cutest little boy who was sitting in a high chair and waving a chip around. Then he dropped it on the floor and looked so sad. My shrivelled ovaries made a pathetic attempt to squeeze an eggy out at that sight.

iggypiggy · 17/08/2009 10:47

I also have evil witch in office who is due 2 days earlier than i would have been - and is evil witch anyway - never mind the jealousy... She was just sat in my office all updiffed and moaning about it... la la la - there will be a murrrderrr....

I have seen cute ones like that... and I kind of 'don't do' other peoples children much.. but sometimes they are just too cute..

skihorse · 17/08/2009 10:48

iggy I can understand that completely - after my mc I thought I was guaranteed diffness.

For the weekend I went riding on saturday and did some proper jumping for the first time in over a year - quick lunch at home then went skiing in the afternoon and ended up playing in the terrain park doing jumps & shiz. It was 30 odd outside and minus 8 in the dome. Pure bliss!

OK, we don't do too much information here - I've just had a spot of blood when I wiped and I didn't have sex last night... dare I torture myself that this might be implantation?

Cosmosis I know that one, we had lunch on a terrace on Friday and there was a toddler throwing his car and then running to fetch it. We both melted. Sad acts!

PS, are we allowed to say 2WW? What's our acronym here?

iggypiggy · 17/08/2009 10:53

ski could be implantation... could be! But agree - don't torture yourself, just in case... can be real fucker if you convince yourself you are updiffed and then aren't - is muchly better the other way around!

riding and skiing in same day... seems wrong

we should have better acronym than 2ww I think

Bessie123 · 17/08/2009 10:58

Ski - have my fingers crossed for you. spot of blood is a good sign, i had it when i was updiffed before.

Ginhag - i have dd, 18 months.

Cosmosis · 17/08/2009 11:03

When I was out on my bike yesterday I was wondering how chEGGers was getting on as well, is she still away?

ski could well be implantation. How are your boobies? Sore? Have a prod at them and see?? I would offer to prod them for you but I think that's a bit too much lesbo action for this time on a Monday.

skihorse · 17/08/2009 11:10

Bessie You have a real child? B-b-b-but aren't you post-BOD? Do the Daily Mail know?

Cosmosis I think she's still in France eating cured meats, shellfish & snails and washing it down with Pernod chasers.

I wouldn't let jailbait touch my boobs last night I just didn't want him near them - however I always get a day or two like this so it's not massively unusual. I did poke them last night and they hurt though... how many times do you have to poke them to make them hurt?

ginhag · 17/08/2009 11:12

2WW = 2WOOFL

2 weeks of obsessive fucking lunacy.

Or just TFW... The fucking wait.

I definitely think there should be swearing involved.

Am at the very start of mine.hoo bloody rah.

ski am going for you.have a poke in the bosoms from me.there, how did that feel?

anyway,it's past 11 on a Monday and no ones got a round in,we're slipping!

I need to wake up n get some work done,so expresso martinis all round!

ginhag · 17/08/2009 11:14

Agh my bloody phone.ski am not going for you,am not tough enough to take you on!am hoping for you.which makes more sense really.

skihorse · 17/08/2009 11:15

I thought you meant you were going for me... as in you were taking a running jump and a lunge at my boobs. Ya lezzer.

extremesitting · 17/08/2009 11:17

Hi All!

I've just got back from a lovely weekend of extremedrinking and generally being naughty. Also went to socialize with bessie mate who had a baby a month ago. I let her take the weight off her feet while I practically inhaled her baby and poked it when it dared go to sleep. Methinks I would make a great mother

Have not seen the troubling girls programme, but I did see "My big decision: Binge drinking" last night. I realised, whilst screaming at the child of Satan on TV, that I... ... might be... a binge drinker of sorts myself Have decided that i will lay off the daily drink for a week to see how I get on . Unlike her, I have not slept with 8 different people in two months, but I might consider it if TTC continues much longer!

Really want to make friends with you all on facecrack but my paranoia is getting the better of me at this time. I've noticed a lot of you are Brizzle dwellers, so am convinced that when I go to interviews one of you will be the interviewer and then we will both know that I am busting my balls (as it were) TTC. Quandary... would YOU hire someone you knew was desperately trying to get up-diffed? Bessie mate advised me that if I got a permanent job now I would have to put off breeding for another year . Your thoughts please ladies?

skihorse · 17/08/2009 11:21

extremesitting Well the Guardian seemed to suggest that in many cases of BOD women unable to conceive it was due to shoddy sperm. I have informed jailbait that I'm going to start shagging randoms on buses if he doesn't give me his finest manfat. 8 in 2 months should do it.

Yes, I would hire someone who was planning to get pregnant. If you're right for the job/team you're right. There are no guaratees with any employee. You could hire someone and week later their partner dies and they crumble... there's no way of knowing. Life is too short to put everything on hold. My company is threatening redundancies left, right and centre and sensibly it might be better to wait to TTC until 2012 - but come on... I've been waiting long enough for this anyway.

Cosmosis · 17/08/2009 11:23

No no no! You only need to be in a job 3 months now to qualify for smp. In the old, pre BOD days, I would have said you needed to be there a bit longer, ethically, or morally or whatever, but frankly, fuck that. Life is too short.

8 different people in 2 months? Sounds like the perfect way to get updiffed.

If you make friends with us on bumcrack, we won't let anyone know who you are, we promise.

ginhag · 17/08/2009 11:23

Well obviously am doing that ski. in the name of science of course.

Cosmosis · 17/08/2009 11:23

I like 2WOOFL.

Bessie123 · 17/08/2009 11:23

extremesitting - depends what the maternity provisions are like in your new job. No need to put off ttc if you are only getting smp anyway.

Ski - I do have a REAL child but i conceived when I was 29, so prob just about acceptable to the dm (phew). Am having more trouble conceiving this time round though.

Eating hollondaise sauce for breakfast (still have rtod)
