hey and here's a funny crazy from me -

have SW1 just the once this month. however am covinced I'm diffed (fuck i was sure it was 'duffed' and it was just people's spellcheck correcting it, now i know better)

not for any reason mind, i just had that 'yep, that should do it' feeling that i had the time i got pg with mani...

obviously i can't say this in Real Life as it makes me sound like a very stupid crazy person, but i can tell you lot. am not even sure when i fucking ov for fuck's sake (but i didn't back then either!)there has been some pant snot of late though. i think.

anyway, you can all laugh at me when RTOD comes crashing upon my shores....

ginhag · 14/08/2009 16:34

SW1??? SWI obv am not just informing you of London postcodes.

Cosmosis · 14/08/2009 16:38

Did you SWI in SW1 though??? That is the question ;)

Anyway, it only takes one as they say, so you never know.

ginhag · 14/08/2009 16:41

ps it took more than one shag to make mani (lots more ) before you all decide i am one of those wanky 'ooo i'm so fertile' boasty people. am not. just we're both sure which was the actual shag that made him. we were with the pg i lost too.

ginhag · 14/08/2009 16:42

nope cos...although maybe that would increase chances????

ginhag · 14/08/2009 16:45

am planning on at least one more GOF but what with mani ending up in our bed every night, and my folks staying this weekend, am not at my most 'come hither-y'

ginhag · 14/08/2009 16:46

my fucking computer has gone mental, sorry.

donttrythisathome · 14/08/2009 17:27

I watched the Trouble with Girls too, and thought the one with the two kids seemed happy enough. Fella working and all that, albeit a statutory rapist.... Still didn't bother them.

The one I really felt for (well really felt so sorry for them all) was the one who got up-diffed while reeeeeally not wanting to be. Still, she's going to go to college.

Sterilisation is a bit harsh surely, like they were sem-clued up using condoms etc.

Thought it was sad, but despite all the odds stacked against them they were fighting back.

Cos good luck with the results. And Choos wet her pants, *choos" wet her pants

triggerhappybaby · 14/08/2009 17:28

good luck ginny - soon you will be squash-hag or at best spritzerhag

Now then: pub? pictures? pub? pictures? pub? pictures? oh those Friday night decisions!

skihorse · 14/08/2009 17:45

donttry Only semi-joking, there was (imo) a pack mentality and they seemed determined to mirror each other's fuck-ups. One telling scene for me was when they were stood outside the school talking about bunking off - then the realisation that they were missing drama - for a brief moment their eyes lit up - then they damned it with the "it's shit innit". The moment Vanessa "escaped to Leicester" she seemed to turn her life around and I hope she wasn't continuing along the same path, albeit in different clothes. I'd like to think she has a job in Top Shop and has a boyfriend who doesn't own a baseball cap.

I don't care one iota how many sexual partners a woman might choose to have and what her marital status might be - but it bothers me greatly that it's seen as acceptable that such young girls (children!) are shagging randoms[tm] without understanding that there are always consequences.

A lack of understanding of consequences to actions seems to be an underlying theme to their lives. Blow off school = no education, so have to go to sixth form college anyway. Kick someone in the face = police get involved. Why on earth weren't these sexually active girls given the implant BEFORE? Presumably they were using the FPC for free condoms - I know that young girls can be a bit shabby taking the pill every day... but it was all a bit shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted.

I'm not even sure the 2nd girl wanted to do childcare at college - in my experience of sixth form college the teenage mums were pushed in this direction...

Scorpette · 14/08/2009 17:47

gin - don't worry, I would only laugh at you behind your back... Nah, not really , I really hope your feeling is right; you've been updiffed twice before and it was right then, so FBNLC (fingers but not legs crossed) it's right now Really really hope so, oooh excited for you now

Talking of the Daily Heil, what's this thing about then having a MN column? Is it just going to consist of 'WOMEN! Go back to the 1950s, you uppity, ungrateful, inferior whores!'?

Could SWI in SW1 be the lucky urban version of shagging on the Cerne Abbas Giant?

We need to burn the Desperate Romantics' clothes if they're going to try and get dressed again. Why aren't they in their cage anyway? I'm going to have to teach them a lesson they'll not forget in a hurry. You - Rosetti - STRIP!

donttrythisathome · 14/08/2009 17:56

I agree ski - tis what becomes of young ones with no support, no help, crap parents (not necessarily through their fault wither though). The pack mentality applies to every group though - unfortunately for them it wasn't pressure to strive for Oxbridge or something. Except us pf course as we are ALL individuals...

donttrythisathome · 14/08/2009 17:58

wither=either
pf=of

My typing is getting worse, feck it.

Scorpette · 14/08/2009 18:04

Ski I concur with your assessment. Esp. about the girl who didn't like kids only studying childcare cos it's the only avenue open to her. When I saw that, I turned round to TYF and said 'aaaaaaaaand that's why I want to be a SAHM and not put our future kids into childcare' (am NOT putting on my judgeypants about WMs, so don't flame me! I realise I will have to go back p-t as did my own mum, it's just that you hear so many horror stories about nurseries, creches, etc.)

You can tell things are fucked up when the only truly likeable, responsible person involved in the documentary is a grown man with an underage girlfriend...

Bessie123 · 14/08/2009 18:09

Hello

I thought I'd drop back in and skim read the thread and saw Ski mentioned one of my favourite films, the Craft (I am not actually a teenager, I just like it).

So, OH and I SWI at least once every day for 2 weeks and 5 preg tests later, still negative. Goddammit.

Good luck Ginhag, hope you are now updiffed (is that how you spell it?). Btw, we have dcs almost the same age.
