mermaid - hey don't be , they're waffly versatile . Hope you've thawed out from your canoeing and are all rosy cheeked.

Hi bakingqueen - Hope your brain recovers after a good nights sleep!

Barbie - billy no mates? As if ! I'm sure there will be oodles of glam parties for you to attend and show off your bump - Halloween/Christmas the whole shebang . Hope you're not missing DH too much, bet he's missing looking after you and baby to be. Great news about you getting the weekend off and being a nail expert for future freelance work.

Evening - quick post and run from me tonight! Read this tip about spending just 5 minutes doing something you are avoiding, in my case my garden, and it will get done much quicker. Managed to do this with the garden, but not mumsnet - always on too long!!
Blue - don't get me wrong, having had the 24 hour marathon, every drug known followed by forceps wih DC 1 , no 2 being 3 hours from first contraction to baby and only having 30 minutes at the hospital before he arrived was better. But just wanted to warn you that you might not have the time you think with no 2!! And after the sprint, I think my body was in shock!!
Also - there are some easytone trainers that are a bit like fitflops - they might help? Made by Reebok

mls re facebook - if I could find out how to find you all on facebook I will! btw, which hospital do you go to Royal Surrey or St Peters?

Welcome back mrsKate - how far along are you now?

Hello to everyone else - need to go now!

littlebellsmum · 06/09/2009 21:06

Jools - non symptoms sound promising...
Barbie - I like Jools name "Emmsys Angels in Weeble Land - we may wobble but we won't fall down" ??
and conception part is fine by me ( I can at least pretend I'm trying!!)

MummyLovesSadie · 06/09/2009 21:30

LBM I go to St Peters as it's only 10 mins down the road - especially handy if dc2 will be as speedy as you say it might! Have you been there?

Email your name to [email protected]

& GG will forward the email to us & the Facebook users among us will add you as a friend, voila!

4everhopeful · 07/09/2009 10:07

Morning lovely ladies! Quick (no such thing) Big catch up!

Mermaid pmsl at your guide to subtle seduction to Hoping and the sausage reference! Canoeing sounds fun & adventurous! Must be amazing to live by the sea! I lurve water being a fishy pisces!

Hoping hope it works for next month but never say never - it could still be! Thankfully my DH is normally more than willing & as desperate as me, but totally agree an air of mystery should be retained & will def help!

Jools the meal sounded great - no hangover?!? One of Mermaids goldstars for you my love! I threw away 3 of them exemption cards, couldnt get round to actually posting them back, they never sent one last time, must be rather confused! x

Neeko lovely few posts from you my darlin xx Laughed about you buying your own stationary stock! Glad the footy went well for you Blue & MLS fellas! Good result = happy house!

MLS the party, grotto & play sounds fabulous! Hope backaches easing, all very common healthy syptoms! Not long to that scan now tho sweetie.. xx

Barbie hope you got a bit of rest in over the weekend & that DH is back now looking after you? xx Great news about reduced days at work.. Im booking my reflexology pedi asap!

Blue sounds like you oozed a glowing glamour at your wedding! Get Mrblue in his kilt! Och Aye!

LBM I agree its really nice to see you on here more often, whether knickerless or not its good to have you back! x

Yea finally got to Vjays post and pleased to hear our cyber nephew is called Alexander James not Gilbert! A lovely name indeed.. Sounds like a fab quick birth - so glad all is well with you all! xxx Do you have him that Emmsys graduate hat/vest yet?

Buddha honey - please do come moan on here and explain what SPD is? This is why we are here & I sure enough moan plenty so fire away! Love what you & Jools say about that maybe my first view of LO but wont get ahead of myself!

Right - think I more or less caught up with you all now! Love that weeble might be used in thread name! Barbie you really started something there - my DH & mum love it & so do I! Had a nice chilled weekend doing not much at all which was v good! Made a lovely steak & ale pie with DH yest & that was prob the highlight which was v needed! Im good - think my weebly wobbly meltdown came last week. Im very conscious what tomorrow should be but decided from now on to just quietly mark edds/anniversarys etc by lighting a special candle I have angelLINK it has 4 angels that spin round when you light the candle so very apt for my LLOs.. Ive planted plants, let off helium balloons, gone to church but tbh I cant keep doing that 8 times a year so to not be maudlin, but to still remember I think that quietly lighting a candle is best.... I will save the big smiley helium baloon for my dads birthday on fri & we will go for a chinese with my mum to raise a glass to my dad! However tommorrow Im still going easy on myself & will take a half day to get my hair done then home for a few wines & candle lighting..

Right, better crack on - will keep checking for whoever starts the new thread - might even try myself! xxx

barbiebigpants · 07/09/2009 10:18

note to oneself....

do not go to the dentist with a broken tooth and expect him just too look at it.......

be prepared for an hour of drilling and pain

do not try to speak to dh who calls to say he is boarding the plane, he will spend a frantic 5 minutes trying to work out what has happened to you, until you hangup and text him explaining it was the injection!

do not pull into the petrol station on the way home, the little man who fills up the car will look at you like this when you wind down your blacked out windows...when you check in the mirror your face will be swollen and your lipstick you hastily applied will not be anywhere your lips

when you try to tell him to fill up the car you will* dribble and not make a bit of sense, que frantic pointing at the pumps and thrusting a ton of money into the guys hands in hope he can work it out himself!!!!!!

Called in sick today, headache was bad last night and still soooooo tired....broke my tooth before bed and managed to get an appointment this morning, que above!

Now im freaking cos i cant swallow and its making me panick and feel sick..how long does it last????

hi 4ever have you started the thread of shall i?

barbiebigpants · 07/09/2009 11:08

oh and one last note....do not start gurning on the way home in the car while trying to get the numbness to wear off...you will still be doing so as you pull up to traffic lights and will scare the hell out of the women in the car next to you!

barbiebigpants · 07/09/2009 11:13

new home for when we finish with this one

4everhopeful · 07/09/2009 12:17

Oh dear Barbiebigpants conjured up a bit of a mental image of yourself there! (lopsided grin emoticon!) At least its all fixed - horrid as it must of been! I was a dental assistant many moons ago (for about 6m!) & the numbness should be going now, the only reason they tell you not to drink hot drinks/food is in case you burn yourself cos you cant feel it! Hope you're feeling better now?!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new site name! Am honoured! Makes me feel better about tomorrow when I have things like that to smile about

barbiebigpants · 07/09/2009 12:21

im still numb ......and dribbling!
