I made a fatal error of bawling my heart out to one girlfriend (on a month where I was SURE it had worked). She clearly told another girlfriend, then another, then another. Then one of them sent me their "lucky" OV sticks through the post. Magic. This is the problem when you are the last man standing. NEVER EVER tell a soul in RL. It leads to unknown pain and humiliation

Oh lord extreme I think gin is only an abortive if you drink vats and vats of the stuff (err yeah, my point being?). Blimey, lettuce has arsenic in it but it doesn't often kill anyone.

I was always under the impression that it was "copious quantities of gin and a hot bath" - although this may go some lengths to explain the barrenness of us en masse.

Bit late to arrive on this huge thread but anyway! Have lurked a bit and am loving the general air of deshabille and Jilly Cooper fandom so am jumping on.

I'm 38 and not really trying very hard to ttc my first - DP is really keen but I'm a bit meh about it all. Have ten nephews and feel no maternal instincts at all but I dunno... I don't want to miss out.

I've ordered some cheap peesticks off ebay as there is no way in hell I'm shagging DP more then twice a month. I'll narrow that window right down and he can take it or leave it.
