laurilou - was it like Marjorie Dawes in Little Britain? Good work on the recreational shagging.

You'll have to put me down as an undecided in the Great VagBucket Debate. I think it's a great idea but have not actually got round to getting one. Was thrilled to find that my pre-pill periods did not flood back post-pill - now I understand what they were talking about when girls said their period was no problem and only lasted 4 days. Sheer heaven compared to 7+ days full on, through max-strength sanpro in an hour joy. Now that's a RTOD.

Am in a Funny Mood today. SHould have stayed in bed.

I gave OH a cup full of wee at 6:30 and got a "Niet Zwanger". No period, no zwanger - I think I've hit the menopause!

Oh ski - boo to Niet. Sorry to hear that, lovey.

Sorry you're not zwangered

cheggers I think the alcohol avoidance thing is just for the bit when you do the actual injection - you know just so you're sober enough not to miss the target ;)

ski bummer. no zwanger again. I concur with the ginhag, must be the mc buggering things about.

I am in the pro-mooncup brigade. I've even bought one. Although I have as yet been too scared to use it. I'm very comfortable on this fence

laurielou I am exceedingly impressed at you getting thrown out of a slimming club. Well done, you're setting us all a fine example to live up to.

ski try again tomorrow - I know, I know I'm a bad influence. But twas me who did POAS after the RTOD after all.

Vag I AM in bed Day off....Going to try out Heather McCartney's new vegan cafe at lunchtime - yes I'm a steak dodger. Don't shoot me.

Was reading birthstories yesterday where one person described "the moment" as like a gunshot to her fango. Think I could p;ut up with any amount of poo-covered goggles to avoid that one.

laurie sounds like a kick ass night.

I lay on couch and watched baby beauty queens (my diagnosis: major mental issues) and also watched *How Not to Live Your Life" where he went on a camping trip with school-kids and got them all pissed. The Fella now has a role model dad.

Bah, sorry about that ski

FUCK I accidentally stumbled around outside the safety of the gin palace (got lost on the way back from the loo) and my god there are some proper smug tossers out there. I know you guys have been here for a while and probably have already been through this shit, but, fuck, the baby names thread??!! WTF?? Clover, Plum, Millicent, Raphael, Zak....?? FUCK, I seriously want to head butt someone who is planning on calling their twins Charles and Dorothy.

I realise I might have offended any of you lovely ladies, but I'm sure you all have the good sense not to go in for such pretentious toss

Plus we're all fucking barren so it doesn't matter eh? However if I'm in my old ladies home being tended to by someone called Aurora will be sure to piss on them.

I am still a bit grumpy today.

don't read birth stories. Plus, they have drugs y'know! (says the woman who had to have em cs in early labour so is not actually a True Mother....)

incidentally the cs was not due to me chickening out!was in order to deliver small safely (ie alive)

Ah longwee I think it was gin palace mark 1 where we went over baby names, and decided we liked Rothmans or Shardonnay etc

Don't forget it is also a requirement to buy the entirety of the boden catalogue once you become updiffed.

longwee I'm with you there. and if I see just one more thread entitled "shall I call her Amelie Grace or Grace Amelie" I'm going to issue a fatwa. I've just discovered the "chav & proud" thread on chat - and whilst I don't think I am a chav, I am cheap and I can't be arsed with all this pretentiousness. The ones who REALLY piss me off are the ones who screech on relationships "he doesn't do anything and now he's lost his job how am I supposed to pay for my highlights?" - never occurs to them to get off their massaged/tanned arses & get a job.

donttry why are you reading that stuff? Why? That's week 38 reading when you're at home on maternity leave and can't be arsed to even walk to the fridge anymore and you're trapped under the weight of the laptop and figure it's time to find out.

I am so fucked off - bit of pink when I went to the loo. I swear it's his fucking bastard useless sperm.

longwee tell me more about these orphans we can steal adopt.

Btw, I laughed myself silly at Aurora - it's the name of a ladies powder ski!

In a similar vein, I shall be calling my twins: Blizzard and Grizzly

I'm still Not Talking To You but if I were Talking To You I'd say that I love the baby name chats too - I quite like the bookish old fashioned names myself (they blend well with my Cath Kidston loving persona) and am torn between approving of having a larger choice of names than Nicola/Claire/Helen/Sarah as per my school and being able to use more fanciful names without being labelled as a freaky hippy, and hating the ubiquitousness of Grace/Elsie/May etc (I love the name Grace and now it is lost to my non-existant offspring forever).
