vadge sorry if I offended you with my rant - I think there are 'unusual but nice' names, but also 'unusual and screamingly pretentious' names. It's just one of my pet peeves. Deffo like Elvis for a girl though...

ski gonna keep quiet on the orphan stealing issue - if we go down that road I'll soon say something horribly unPC and sound like a twat

longwee I'm a huge fan of horribly un-PC.

I have no more pink and so am secretly hoping it was just a reaction to the hot sex I had this morning.

longwee (NB NOT donttry) I wasn't offended, I'm glad everyone has different opinions - and I am so cross that the names I like are so "fashionable" that I'm more tempted to go retro and use Nigel and Pam.

ski me too but not on the world wide web where it can come back to bite me on the ass when I'm president of the world.

for the hot sex.

Oooh Elvis for a girl, I like that.

My Dh's current fave boy's name is Travis. I can't quite work out if that is genuis of unspeakably awful.

Oooh actually, while we're on names, here's one for you unmarried ladies... Is anyone planning on not automatically giving the baby his surname? I am a ranty femmy and really don't see why it should get his name over mine. However I don't want to insist it gets my name, as that is just as bad really. But don't want to go down the double barrelled route, so then I run out of ideas. Any thoughts...?!

err above of should be or

I am married and did change my name, but we plan to give any children my maiden name as a middle name because I am the last one and I want it to continue.

longwee Yes, el babbio will have my name and will spend the rest of his life spelling it, pronouncing it and getting teased mercilessly. (Scottish gaelic name)

weewee I'm a failed feminist as I've got DH's name - but to make up for it we've BOTH got my maiden name as our penultimate name.

If we actually manage to create another human life, that will have the same. Obv. you don't use your middle names much in everyday life but it's nice to know it's in there.

ski sorry to hear about your Niet, however, perhaps all is not as it appears? I, on the other hand, still have a Zwanger for which more blood has been let taken this morning (she was very rough )

Am bored with this now. Don't want to go through this ever again. Prospect of still having to have D&C after all this is depressing, hence week long bender. Even worse, got hol to Cyprus booked for a week on Sat so if need D&C before then going to look like extra from horror film whilst meant to be soaking up sun and going brown. Is pants, proper pants.

VeryAngryGusset · 23/07/2009 12:59

I was in two minds about changing my name - but I love that we both have the same name. I do miss my maiden name but it's quite common so no desparate need to retain it.

I know a couple who both changed their name to their middle names hyphenated. Akin to "Grace-Steven". I didn't take to it initially but have got used to it.

trog I too am bored of this but at least I don't have to wear big pants (yet). But I have a terrible fear that the reason my uterus is in limbo is because it didn't all "clear out" last month. But wouldn't I have a ponky vag? I realise I'm clutching at straws here because clearly you don't have a ponky vag either. I don't understand how you can still be having zwangers though. Should we swap sticks? We'd both be happier.

Ahem ahem..... I say?! Sorry to bother you all but I discovered the first of your wonderful threads at about this time yesterday, and I have read all three since. Right up until now ... aside from watching Chris Myles on "Who do you think you are"... and erm... sleeping. I think its fair to say I have cried and gone to heaven. Please can I play?

Important points to consider:

I will be 33 very soon.
TTC - 15 months
House: Cream with wood floors (at least downstairs)
Cats: 0
Drinking Habits: Extremely Bad
Smoking Habits: Limited (though massively escalated due to overexcitement reading these threads).

I can't remember the other important information required as I am suddenly feeling a smidge nervous.

Thank you for your time....

Welcome, freaks! (to quote King Julian in Madagascar). If you managed to keep track of our 3 threads you deserve a standing ovation

trig that just sounds a total nightmare - will a manly back slap help?

I don't think both Milli & Vanilli are dead, just one - wasn't it to do with the shame of miming or some such thing?

Would I lie to you? = Charles & Eddie. Ooh, nice twin names. If your surname is Windsor-Mountbatten-Schleswig-Holstein-etc.

Only one of Milli Vanilli is deeeed. Rob? Wasn't it a car crash?

Sorry about the zwangers/niet zwangers [chinese burn]. Really hope it clears up/out soon, both of you.

Hello, extreme - please join me on the "15 months - seriously? FFS" sofa. Are you as sick of this as I am? I have 47 days left on my Fertility Friend premium membership. After that, I am binning this head-fuckery malarky, and planning some extreme holidays.
