Hello all! What a beautiful new shiney thread
Bubble how are you today? The side effects of clomid really sound horrendous, you poor thing. I'm emotionally wobbly enough without additional hormones so don't envy you one bit. Really hoping though that with the preseed too luck finally goes your way.
Issy lovely to hear from you. Glad all is going ok, and think Glastonbury will be the perfect solution for distracting you for a while- enjoy! (last time I was at the festival is depressingly 13yrs ago, but took my Dad to Glasto town for his 60th last year, he's a hippy soul!)
I have decided not to get the free packs this year, IME they are so full of advertisments/promotions and samples that I don't actually need or want that I'd rather go without! There is plenty of info in the standard NHS literature and really I don't think you need much during pregnancy.... The Bounty packs after the baby is born I find quite irritating too! But maybe that's just me and my allergy to junk mail sort of stuff.
I have thought about getting a HB listening monitor, but think I would drive myself insane with it- same with a BP monitor. In a way because I'm "high risk" I do get very good monitoring, and the frequency increases once over 26wks, so will leave it to the professionals. The only thing I will do from 26wks is pee on a stick each day to check protein level, but last time that didn't actually show as a symptom of PE- just my BP...unlike the first time when everything went crazy resulting is DS being born at 30wks I am fairly sure I'll get some form of PE again, statistically the odds are a bit stacked against me having had it twice, but so long as it's late in pregnancy and they start the BP meds as soon as a rise is spotted I'm fairly confident we'll make it to at least 36wks...fingers crossed!
Suzi any news from your blood tests? Really hope HCG is performing as it should.
Head so glad your nuchal results were good, now just relax!
Right, PhD supervisor on his way so better get into work mode! Like you Issy I'm going to be absent for a while now, but will check in with you all in about 2 weeks and really hoping all goes well for everyone and more good news if possible!
