GracieGirl · 02/07/2009 14:44

Barbie I have texted 4ever the news as she's busy at home dealing with her window issues, she is really pleased for you!

Joolsiam · 02/07/2009 14:48

Thinking of you Mollie

of course Barbie, I shall text you any news If you are PC less and need updates while you are away, just let me know - I like having important jobs to do !

SabsBigPants · 02/07/2009 14:56

btw it seems as if everyone has exchanged number except mine. When did that all happen?? lol

SabsBigPants · 02/07/2009 14:58

btw im a Londoner so happy to meet up with anyone (if im not busy with bubba!)

My BIL works in the IT dept of St.Mary's (not sure how thats relevant )

bluesatinsash · 02/07/2009 14:59

oh I love logging on to good news - go barbie - fantastic fabulous news!!! I jus tknew it would be OK but didn't want to say in advance in my inimitable supersticious way. enjoy your holiday backk home, it couldn't come at a better time, bean safely snuggled in, DH about to turn 30, firneds and family around to wrap you in cotton wool - just perfect .

MMbigpants!!!!! I was hoping you'd be posting soon apres 12/13 week scan! Just fantastic news too and agree the difference between 11 and 12 weeks is amazing . Absolutely up for bump comparison meet up, maybe after both our 20-week scans but before we're in the waddling zone .

Mermaid - really pleased your consultantgolfer appointment went well and you were given lots of support, time and hugs. I also get so then again when I see v. v. young Mum's especially when they are smoking, it just breaks my heart. Re: asprin I get mine from Boots - yellow box, clearly marked 75mg and promoted for those who have had a heart attack! The only side effect I've wondered is if it caused my weeks of brown bleeding as it thins your blood .

Vjay - great news that baby is hea down! Any more ideas re: names? Also fab that you have secured funding for your DS - yay!

MLS - I second Jools with the no caffeine and lots and lots of water! Eggs too are v. good source of ttc protein.

Hoping - Emmsy's hats sound just wonderful, I'll order one please as having a winter baby and DS was June with masses of hair so no hat required . Mind and keep some wool for your own lo though!

Gracie - glad you got a good night's sleep and please try not to worry about symptoms, easier said than done I know... I happened upon an old episode of Will & Grace last night and thought of you and your BF! Are you still going to see Duran Duran this month? I'm still seeing Bruce Springsteen but may wrap myself in bubble wrap for fear of ending up in the mosh pit with lots of 40somethings .

Mollie - big waves and good thoughts for later x

I'm wilting now, going to lie down whilst DS still asleep.

to everyone else x

GracieGirl · 02/07/2009 15:01

Sabs if you email the emmsys email address (on previous page) created by me and put your phone number or any details you like in it, I will forward it to whoever you ask me to.

bluesatinsash · 02/07/2009 15:20

Forgot to say Neeko I'm from Falkirk, slap bang between Edinburgh and Glasgow so about 2 hours from you me thinks .

VJaybigpants · 02/07/2009 15:59

Yey barbie I'm so pleased for you have a safe journey back home and have a lovely holiday.
mm welcome to the bigpanters, it all gets bigger from here
sabs you must be 28 weeks now, that is going fast. I feel like time is flying now, to the point where I forget how far along I am!
blue I am wilting too, we've just been into Inverness for a spot of shopping, didn't last long!

cupcakefairy · 02/07/2009 16:43

Girls do you realise we have almost got through this entire thread without a BFP! Come onnnnn little beans!!

I allowed myself a mini fantasy earlier... my BIL just got engaged and they are planning a June 2010 wedding...I was thinking how nice it would be if DH and I had a littly of just a couple of months old to show off to the whole family...

GracieGirl · 02/07/2009 16:57

Any news Mollie?? Cupcake at no BFP for the whole thread, come on girls we need four to match the last thread I think!! If not we'll have to get 8 BFPs for the following thread.

Blue yes I'm going to see Duran Duran at Edinburgh Castle on the 16th - that's 2 weeks today! Though thats with my DH not with BF this time. I would get dodgy looks going away for the weekend with another man even if it is only my best friend. My DH used to work at the hospital in Falkirk.

Joolsiam · 02/07/2009 17:00

Well if you want a BFP from me on this thread, we'll have to stop talking so much, as I won't be testing for at least 16 days !

VJaybigpants · 02/07/2009 17:09

Any news yet mollie???? cupcake I think we got all the bfp's towards the end of the last thread, who's going to be testing soon? I hope we all get BFP's before I pop, how's that for a challenge....as long as it doesn't make me go too far over my due date

OP posts:
MrsKate · 02/07/2009 17:11

that sounds like a good challenge vjay im up for that !!!!

Neeko · 02/07/2009 19:19

Great news Barbie So pleased for you honey. have a fab time at home and enjoy spreading your good news.

Mollie I still have fingers crossed for you.

MM Great news for you too.

Hoping you are the sweetest. If I ever have an emmsy's graduate I'd be honoured to ut an emmsy's hat on him/her and it'd definitely go in the keepsake box. What a lovely symbol to teach a little one that the world is full of people who care if you only know where to find them. P.S. Hope your bleeding's implantation

mermaid Glad your appt went well. Clearly the golfing confused me

Gracie Enjoy the relief and try not to worry.

I'd love to join the BFPers in this thread but think like Jools said we talk too much. maybe next thread will be extra lucky.

Sorry for all those I've missed tonight. DD's bath time is calling. Great to see so many people back on the thread today

hopingalways · 02/07/2009 20:05

just typing up the pattern I stole designed for the emmsy's graduate hat...has the option of knitting emmsys in pearl stitches across the front (designed to look like an extremely posh exclusive designer babywear make ) or just plain and smooth if you would feel uncomfortable about having emmsys written on your lo .

put your orders in now ladies! I'll be sending the pattern (along with contact details etc so I can send Sabs her baby knits soon!) to the emmsysonwardsandupwards address list...

mermaidspurse · 02/07/2009 20:07

just popping into check on mollie and mls
Hope you are both okxxxxxxxx

neeko you have made me howl with laughter at the thought of me out with the window fitters, builders and consultants playing golf

bakingqueen · 02/07/2009 20:22

Hello just quickly popping in as dh home and wanting his tea! Congrats barbie so pleased to hear your news enjoy your flight homex. Any word from Mollie yet? Loving the emmsys graduate hat idea hoping it sounds so sweet and envy you being able to knit a scarf was the best I could ever make when I was at school p stuck to cross stitch but am so slow still making one for my friend when she was pregnant her dd is now 3! Good to see you back Kate x. Sorry to anyone I have missed dh giving me pitiful looks as his dinner still not on! Back later after he has been fed x

GracieGirl · 02/07/2009 20:42

Still no news from Mollie?

mermaidspurse · 02/07/2009 21:05

bakingqueen if it makes you feel better I can only knit dishcloths my family got given them for years - actually thats a good christmas credit crunch idea.

hoping that is a lovely lovely idea see you are setting me off again.

gracie so glad you have had a couple of nights pain free.

BlueMoon1981 · 02/07/2009 21:14

barbie for you and your sticky bean

mermaid i actually wasn't going to admit this, but seeing as you did.... dishcloths are all i can knit too! i made one for my nan one year for christmas, i must have been about 8? it took me months and i kept getting fluff up my nose! my nan died a few years ago but she always kept that holey dishcloth bless her.

mm congrats on making your way up to bigpants (what i wrote first said filling your big pants but decided that could be taken the wrong way )

hoping you are so lovely to want to knit hats and booties for the ladies on here, that really is such a touching gesture.

waves to all the other lovely ladies xxxxx

Molliemooma · 02/07/2009 21:23

Sorry to keep you waiting and thank you all for thinking of me and Barbie much appreciated . Delighted to say more good news for today, scan went really well, baby was jumping around like a mad thing, in fact I felt it for the first time last night and again today, amazing! They think the bleed was caused by a low lying placenta over the cervix, consultant came to check things over too which made me feel loads better Just told me to take it easy and told DH to look after me (I love my consultant)
Just 4 weeks until the next one now

Gosh there is a lot to catch up with, and Im a bit tired so apologies for the short post.

MLS How are things with you? I've been thinking of you and Moon lots over the last few days
Hoping Definate order from me for hats and booties very useful for a December baby
MM Congrats on graduating fellow big pants girl
VJay So pleased you finally got your funding, hurray!
Gracie So glad you have got some sleep finally
I'm trying so hard to do a proper catch up but I'm going to have to admit defeat as I'm so tired
