Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

Hi 4ever Poor you. Hope it gets sorted.
Loving the boys names and having a wee giggle at the thought of Gracie pleading with a librarian for "Just 5 more mins on MN, PLEEAASE!"
MLS Bad luck on the BFN. Fingers crossed for next month.
Thanks for all the positive thoughts on my AF. I'm considering reading the posts out loud in the general direction of my uterus just in case it's listening, but not convinced it would do any good

4everhopeful · 28/04/2009 13:44

Ahh thank you MLS I needed to hear that! Iv got a bit of a sore throat so been worrying myself (unneccesarily no doubt) and im not a hypchondriac but just feel a bit doomed & 'whats next then..?'. I fear PMT is doing her thing! You're a sweetheart - I really could do with dissapearing to the desert for 9 months tho!

Thanks also Gracie Enjoy building sandcastles! Just about to start chucking it down in london! Might have to take you up on the Charlies Angels mission & get the Barbiemobile out! Mermaid, Neeko, Lion are you up for it??!? Thanks girls for agreeing what a headf* this has all been! I ended up wondering if I was just overreacting I know Im not tho! The secretary does need a bit of charm school, but think she means well deep down, its the local NHS lab that need the Charlies Angels treatment for doing the wrong test! Shall find out within the hour if they redeemed themselves, blummin better of or I shall revert to the soggy sobbing wreck that I was yesterday!

BTW - big smile on my face with the image of Neeko reading MN psts to her uterus!

4everhopeful · 28/04/2009 13:47

Ooh posts

And how could I forget orig Charlies Angel Vjay sorry hon - can I borrow your straighteners for hair flicking?

mermaidspurse · 28/04/2009 13:53

still can't kungfoo kick in these shoes though. I hope they are sorting it out. Big glass of wine when you and dh finally get home this evening.

neeko I think we had better have a sweep stake you poor thing.

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 14:43

for *Neeko's af not arriving
for my af just arriving

Neeko · 28/04/2009 14:49

4ever I'm totally up for it! Hope everything is all sorted soon. I'll take your PMT symptoms if you don't want them!

mermaid sweepstake sounds like fun. As it's your idea, you can have first bid. Prize is to be known as Mystic MNer and AF Guru!

Neeko · 28/04/2009 14:50

Aww MLS That's crap for both of us!

kate030284 · 28/04/2009 15:46

blue i will put pics up dont you worry
neeko im eating a lot at the mo

4everhopeful · 28/04/2009 16:42

Mermaid dont worry about kung foo kicking in your spangly heels, theres no need, the (right) results came through . Still trying to get through to 'mad millie' the Portland secretary who I envision to look like a very aged version of 'Edina' in Ab Fab, to see if they got the fax from GP! Fingers crossed!

Neeko take the symptoms - take them! They are all yours!

Kate my Af used to be anything from 4-7, think it takes a while to settle after mc.. Poor you working so hard, I think shift work can mess up your cycle a bit too..

Feeling your MLS - howzabout we all induldge in that glass of wine mermaid talked about?

I'm opening the bottle now - glug glug glug into our glasses, and 'Cheers ladies'! xxxxx

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 16:59

Mmmmmm the wine is going down very nicely thank you!

Kate since having dd my af was always a horrible 9-14 days. Since mc it has gone down to 3 days & has been quite light. Also for the last two months I seem to have been on a 27 day cycle.

4ever phew at your results.

Now counting down the days until I can start bd again - 10 days & counting.

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 17:37

Actually having wine in rl now, can't see any reason not to get trashed!

Neeko · 28/04/2009 20:50

Hello. Great news about your results 4ever. It's all getting very exciting for you. So pleased that you're moving in the right direction. Thanks so much for passing on your symptoms as I now have some spotting - hurrah. Here's hoping that in a few hours it'll turn into my friend (but only for this month) AF and then at least I can be cycle buddies with wine swigging MLS

Neeko · 28/04/2009 20:51

Kate Pass the M&Ms, please!

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 20:58

Yay for spotting - hic!

Neeko · 28/04/2009 21:03

You make me laugh so much! Hope you're not too depressed bout AF. Your time will come again. I know it (sorry that sounds condescending and I don't mea it that way - don't know how else to put it )

SabsBigPants · 28/04/2009 21:05

hello ladies, hope everyone had a good day....

MLS sorry for AF coming to visit you..here, have an angry face from me

Gracie good to hear you had good weather and got to build a sandcastle! its so cold and grey here Lol at you bribing the librarian!

4ever poor you, what a palaver! glad the other ladies were on here to raise your spirits...

barbie hope you had a good day...we did the desert safari in dubai too, it was great, i sat in the back of the jeep to get maximum effect! but when the belly dancers came out, it started raining!

hello to moon neeko lionstar blue scorpio MLS and Vjay

thanks to all for their pram hints..i knew i could count on you all for your help...

well today I got to hear bubba's heartbeat ...i couldve waited until my 20 week appointment in 2 weeks time with my midwife but when my midwife said i could come in when i was 17 or 18 weeks to hear the heartbeat i jumped at the chance! My sister came with me and recorded it on my phone so DH could hear it.

Also thanks to those who asked about work. I went back on Friday and they asked my ex-manager to work from home that day so that it would be easier for me if she wasnt there. They then asked me to work from home yesterday, so today was the first time we came face to face and the fact that we sit right next to each other doesnt help! but i was on such a high from hearing the heartbeat nothing could bring me down. I thought i was quite strong and was quite professional, and actully speaking to her when it came to work, which she felt she couldnt do with me. Been having lots of meetings with HR and other managers. Need to stay stress-free for the baby. Anyway we moving desks next weeks so we will be across the floor from each other so that should help

Neeko · 28/04/2009 21:14

Sabs So lovely about the heartbeat. what a great moment and very reassuring Sounds like you have your priorities right over work and baby and that you were completely professional today. Good for you. Give yourself a big pat on the back both for work and for keeping your precious bean safe and comfy.

SabsBigPants · 28/04/2009 21:21

thanks neeko

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 21:35

Sabs thanks for the extra face, can never have too many when feeling hormonal! Good to hear you sounding upbeat, hearing the heartbeat is a very special moment. I too recorded dd's on my mobile & then downloaded it onto my Mac!

Neeko no not condescending.... would just like to know WHEN it will be my time, as we all would!! Feel strangely relieved now af is here, that 2ww really is a killer & at least I'm not in limbo now.

Dug out a couple of pics from when I was heavily pg & have updated profile, heehee!

SabsBigPants · 28/04/2009 21:40

MLS just had a look at your pics...you look lovely, especially the pic of your bump, wow! mines all soft

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 21:46

Awww Sabs it will firm up believe me! By the time you get to about 6 months you won't even be able to put your knickers on without sitting down to do it! Also what people say about not being able to see your toes is nonsense, take a long look at your fanjo because soon it will be but a distant memory & so will waxing & shaving - out of sight, out of mind was my motto!

SabsBigPants · 28/04/2009 21:52

seriously?? i wont be able to shave or wax my fanjo????

MummyLovesSadie · 28/04/2009 21:58

You won't see it for weeks so you won't care! All of my friends were the same, we all managed to somehow or other have a trim & edge just before the birth though!

SabsBigPants · 28/04/2009 22:01

thanks for the info...you've really got me thinking now, lol!

LionstarBigPants · 28/04/2009 22:15

Sabs, we got to hear the heartbeat today too - it's a great moment isn't it! Was meant to be our 16 week appointment, but they understandably wanted to wait for the test results first. Don't see a midwife now until 28 weeks, but obv. have the anomaly scan in the meantime.

MLS is right you bump will firm up soon. Mine has done a big grow in the last week, when I next go into work they're going to have a big shock because I haven't told anyone yet! . Sounds like you were very strong at work, dealing with that waste of space manager. You can just sit there and be all serene and polite - it will really get on her wick!
