Yea Neeko glad I helped with the loan of my PMT symptoms! I'll have 'em back now tho cos I did a BFN test last night! Not a bad thing cos really want to have the treatment first, you can be up to 6 weeks PG but Id rather do it all the right way... So, will have blistering sore arms and period pain to contend with this bank hol! Shall all hopefully be worth it!

Barbie waves to everyone else, im still trying to work out which job to go for, its sooooo confuzzling had 3x interviews with both, went to sign contract with mac this morning but found out i cant take any hols in the first year and if i wanted to take the week of for the festival it would be unpaid and frowned upon...also we have booked for two weeks then and a week in sept which they wouldnt allow. So came out of there without signing and now im trying to chase up the other offer to get something in writting to compare its so hard over here!

Has anybody tried using grapefruit juice in their quest to ttc? I bought some today & absolutely hate the taste of the stuff but am prepared to soldier on if it is going to help.

Oh & Neeko I'm still scoffing diligently eating 2 brazil nuts a day, how long am I supposed to do it for, right through the pregnancy.... if I ever conceive? Also dh stopped eating them but I suppose as af is here he should start again?

I am still licking the chocolate off them and putting them back in the packetp

I've got the pink grapefruit juice, still tastes bitter to me. Maybe I should try mixing it with vodka

tis lucky we are all not real neighbours, we would be locked up for debauchery However I cannot think of anything worse than vodka and grapefruit thats a sick face! If it helps a nice big glass of grapefruit juice before meals is meant to help in weight reduction

MLS Grapefruit juice is lovely! Brazil nuts are to prevent miscarriage so DH can stop only once you're pg and I intend to eat them up to week 20 at least. By the way Conceptionguru when should I start using my opks?

Neeko If you are on a 28 day cycle start testing on day 11. I seem to have changed from a 28 day to a 27 day cycle so will start testing on day 10 & I had a bfp opk last cycle on day 12. Oh how I'm wishing this next week away!

mls I don't know how long my cycle is. It used to be 28 days but anything could happen now. I have ten tests so think I might start on day 8.
Kate Nerves are good -they help you enjoy the day more. All you need is you,him, the person conducting the ceremony and the rings. Everything else is an optional extra (though a positive opk would be good ) Relax and enjoy!

Kate OMG that is a long cycle! Apparently if you have a 35 day cycle you should start testing on day 19. After mc though your cycles can change so if I were you I'd buy a bumper pack of opk's from babymad & start testing earlier!

Neeko I did the same as you when I had my first af after mc & started testing on day 8, I was not prepared to miss an egg!!

Well I have an appointment with my gp tomorrow to discuss my pre-af bleed on days 20 & 21 every month. If she tells me 'it's just my body getting back to normal after having dd' I think my head might implode!

Kate - my cycles are normally 34/35 days, but when DH went to Thailand we last had sex on cd13; was enough to get me pregnant! Was very shocked as i saw ewcm on cd19 as expected; just keep doing it whenever! I even told DH off for being away, lol

yeah that long cycle is from when i came off pill a year and half ago . its really annoying lol il test ssoner then and just tell dh to be to get his act in gear lol
