Hold on, here we go again!

Hum,
Buzz,
Click click
Hum

Monitor blinks, glows
Processor thrums happily

Fingers fly across the keyboard
"Hi how are you?"
"I'm fine been waiting for you"
Smile spreads wide across my face

Her words appear slowly
Full of humor and warmth
A cyber smile, a virtual laugh
Silent yet I hear

Realizing it's time to go,
a somatic sensation warms me

"I hope to chat again soon"
"Till then good bye"

Click click
Buzz
Silence

I found this and thought of us!......

MummyLovesSadie · 27/04/2009 12:42

Hello ladies

Lion brilliant news about your results. You can relax now & enjoy the rest of your pg.

Mermaid please don't give up yet. I totally understand how you must feel but there is still hope. Like 4ever said there are still other avenues.

4ever I'm excited for you for Friday. Will you have to keep having the injections every month?

No Barbie I do not have a hangover & Neeko I didn't spend all evening drinking like a lush! I had one glass in the sunshine that made me feel pissed & another one with dinner that put me to sleep... I never used to be such a lightweight!

I feel like I'm on the verge of a hormonal crash. I think af is about to show up. I took dd to her usual Monday gym class & it always makes me feel shit as there are three pregnant women there. Every week they look bigger, I can't help staring at their bumps to the point of wanting to tear my own eyes out. My dd always seems to gravitate towards the equipment that their lo's are on so I can't help hearing them talking about due dates etc & I want to stick my fingers in my ears & go lalalalala.

This 2ww has felt like it has lasted so long & tbh I've found it harder than any other month, probably because its been my first proper cycle since mc & this month we tried really hard. I have a horrible sinking feeling that it is going to end in tears.

SabsBigPants · 27/04/2009 12:45

sorry forgot to add that sorry to hear TEW got you mermaid and that you're thinking about giving up....we're here to talk you through whatever you decide...have you spoken to DH/DP about your decision?

barbie1 · 27/04/2009 12:48

lion whoop whoop! fab news love...bet its a boy too enjoy your wine, i might even have a drink to celebrate with you

mermaid please dont go, yes for taking it easy and not trying too hard but dont give up yet, i will miss you if you go

4ever good luck with all the test and things coming up...im sure you wil get a bfp soon!

mls glad you didnt have a hangover, sorry to hear aobut all the pregnant ladies at the play den sounds like your hormones are kicking in and yes it will be shit if your af arrives but least it wil mean your cycles are back to normal and you know you are ovualting...save the tears, you can join me on the race for a bfp!

This time last month i had very bad pains so i know af was going come, nothing so far this month so fingers crossed im finally going to get something that resembles a 28 day cycle and be normal for a change!

mermaidspurse · 27/04/2009 13:00

mls I am so shit at going off to do some work and keep switching screens - a virtual hug your way today cos it is shit. I feel like all the pregnant women at school and god they are all pregnant atm look at me like I am the cursed one and don't meet my eye and it makes it all worse. Spose at the end of the day we are all hormonal women.

sabs hi honey hope things with work are becoming easier to deal with and someone has sat on that silly woman for you.

sorry to do the oh woe is me post - dh dosn't want to go down technical routes. I think he feels the wrong side of 40 now.
4ever if I didn't have ds I would be doing LIT with you sweetie. Things are still weaving through my head at the minute, tomorrow I will probably be counting my opk sticks like a mad Golom!

SabsBigPants · 27/04/2009 13:04

sorry i am really slow today (note to self - must refresh!)....MLS sorry to hear your having a hard time..i remember when my SIL gave birth to a baby girl, just a month after my mmc...i was in bits....had all sorts of mixed emotions...especially to se a newborn baby in the family when i had to wait 3 months to even start trying...sending you a virtual hug and hope you feel better soon...

Neeko · 27/04/2009 13:05

Hi girls. Sneaky lurking for me again today
mermaid Stay with us!! Maybe if you pretend to your body that you've given in that's when it'll happen?!?

Lion Phew! Great news on the results. Keep that bean cooking!

4ever good luck for the end of the week. we'll all be there with you in spirit.

MlS Are you sure you aren't just up? Seriously hope you're ok. If AF comes you'll just have to obsess with me about pee sticks next month. It WILL happen for you soon. I just know it.

Barbie How's the bruise?

Anyone want to run a book on when my AF's coming? Had a few cramps over the past couple of days but no bleeding. I'm now psychotic enough to start thinkin about that Asherman's syndrome thingy. Someone slap me please!

Hello to all you other lovely ladies.

MummyLovesSadie · 27/04/2009 13:13

I found this article very interesting re low progesterone & the effect it has in early mc.

Neeko · 27/04/2009 13:36

That is interesting.

MummyLovesSadie · 27/04/2009 13:36

Neeko OMG Asherman's syndrome I'd never even heard of that, now I've Googled it I have another thing to worry about!

My lovely next-door neighbour (the one who was with me for mc) just popped round & she could see that something was wrong. She asked whether I'd got my af yet & I said I thought it was coming & she was being so sweet & telling me not to worry & that it WILL happen for me. I had to keep saying to myself 'DO NOT cry DO NOT cry', all the time with tears about to leap from my eyes & that horrible heavy throat pain thing that you get when you are about to massively crumble into a sobbing mess! She has gone home to pray for me now!

mermaidspurse · 27/04/2009 13:37

that is an interesting article from having worn big pants once I think that this may be my missing link, kinda makes sense really.
neeko this is your first af after mc isn't it? sorry monday confused head on - my cycles came back pronto but lots don't. It sounds like af is leading you round the garden path
barbie I am keeping my fingers crossed that you get some sort of normality to your cycle too. Maybe that slidy shark thing will scare af into showing up?

Neeko · 27/04/2009 13:38

AWW MLS hope your hormones are dur to pg NOT af. Bell's just rung have to dash. BYEEEE!

mermaidspurse · 27/04/2009 13:40

Is that what I call sticky blood syndrome?

MummyLovesSadie · 27/04/2009 13:44

Asherman's syndrome is apparently when bits of your womb stick together & it can happen after an erpc.

4everhopeful · 27/04/2009 14:05

Mermaid Mermaid see? There is so much more for you to investigate sweetheart!!!

Sticky blood is aka antiphospholipid syndrome and would imagine you are in process of waiting for results for that, its one of first tests NHS do... The article MLS just found is very valid, when no cause was found from my NHS tests in last PG my NHS specialist put me on Cyclogest which are progestorone supplements (pessaries) twice a day, and 75mg aspirin. For some women thats enough to sustain it cos could just be as simple as progestorone defiency (a'la article)

I understand your DH (and you) are prob feeling dejected and worn down by all this rigmarale, but trust me they are NOT technical routes - taking an aspirin a day and shoving a pessary up your fandango doesnt even affect DH after all! ALL the tests for recurrent MC are in form of blood tests. Nowt technical about that & DHs get away with it, only one my DH had to do was for this LIT, on fri he gives a pint and thats it on his part.

See this TESTS link and print it off, show your specialist when you see him, and check you had all these as they are ALL NHS tests you are entitled too. Each one is a simple blood test. I repeat NOWT technical!!!

Sorry to be ramming this down your throat but I felt exactly the same as you, I had all NHS tests & no cause. Tried the progestorone & aspirin & still failed. Had a private Natural Killer cells test done in Feb & negative. So, I;d near given up til I found this LIT, but still no guarantee with that, however it has rekindled the HOPE..

HUGS to all of you specially MLS bloody hormones get us all xxxxxxxxx

mermaidspurse · 27/04/2009 14:38

4ever I dont want to be responsible for you getting the sack
On a big plus side it is so fab to hear you being so strong and zoomy. The link didn't work but I will find a list. Thank youx.

SabsBigPants · 27/04/2009 17:04

yup, 18 weeks...

have you started buying things for the baby yet? ive bought a blanket and some cute socks....resisting the urge to buy anything else until the 20-week scan...but want to try and buy most things by August...

VJaybigpants · 27/04/2009 17:14

sabs I gave all my stuff away to sisters and sil's anf friends when ds had grwon out of it all or didn't need it anymore, everything apart form the cot, and the lovely thing is that most of it has come back, even his moses basket. Saying that I made a list of things will still need, including a pram, and the list seems to be growing! We said we'd wait until after the scan, now it's after the scan I really need to start doing something .
barbie I think you asked about names, we like Archie and Harry, but I want something Scottish to kind of celebrate our time up here, but we are struggling, but we do like Ewan.

SabsBigPants · 27/04/2009 17:22

nice choice of names vjay

i need to start a thread elsewhere about buggy's, am sooo confused...saw an ad somewhere about a buggy which you can have facing you when baby is younger, but then you can change it facing outwards at the baby gets older. But also want something where I can put the carseat striaght into the buggy...all this without breaking the bank!
