laurie I'm not a temping expert by any means, but as I understand it, ovulation is only confirmed by a rise in temperature.
So, if you've seen signs of impending ovulation (EWCM) then it is possible it's on the way. Are you using OPKs too? Sometimes, gearing up for ovulation (EWCM for example) happens more than once a month
Once you have actually ovulated, you'll see a sustained increase in temperature which will prove it's happened. If you're using the fertilityfriend website, they take 3 raised temperatures to mean sustained.
The drawback of this of course is that by the time you've managed to confirm for sure you've ovulated, it's too late to conceive, which is why the advice is to bd at any sign of impending ovulation, just in case it's the sign that matters.
OPK sticks can really help, if you're not already using them.
And your temps are almost identical to mine, but yes, they are lower than most. The temps themselves aren't a problem, they're what is normal for you (I very, very rarely run a fever, it's just the way of my body)
It's seeing and building up a pattern which helps the most; and of course getting a sustained shift. So the first month of temping is a bit frustrating because it doesn't actually help with anything much; but the second month is better because you have the information to anticipate what might happen next and on and on it goes, getting more helpful each month. You're right though, the party and stressy month you've had might have upset your cycle. I've been pretty shocked by the change a cold or boozy night has had on my temps.
