Well ladies it looks like my instincts (and indeed my temps) were right.

I got a BFP this morning!

I'm officially 2ww now. Three temp rises in a row. Also had positive opk on fri so maybe despite pcos they do work for me. Fertility friend puts ovuation on fri but that is when I got the positive opk and I was under impression that ovulation was 48-82 hours after positive opk.What do you think?

We have two BFP, that means we will shall get one more before the week is up good luck ladies.

I had a bit of a disaster, hurt my calf muscle therefore am in pain and can't run which is a shame as I was doing a 2 mile run every day Hopefully it will heal soon!!

I have been temping to see how my ups and down of my cycle, apparently it gives a good insight when I ovulate. So any ladies with any tips on temping please share what you know as I am a novice.

As kind of expected, it is now CD2 over here and AF has been a prize bitch, but I had a lovely weekend, so am not too upset - just means I have another month to lose some more weight

Hi Jools sorry to hear the witch has got you, but being positive you will lose more weight. I am disappointed in myself as I have a calf injury which really hurts... I just want it to heal up so I can carry on my morning runs. Think the calf injury could be to me not warming up proberly and also not streatching after my run... so it serves me right eh?? What's happening with your tests etc... have you been booked in yet?

Hi Cindy My appt is on Wed next week, so not too long to wait. I'm fairly certain that my problem is probably just eggs that are past their sell-by date but it will be good to cover all the options, just in case

Hi cindy- only cd4 max today so no testing. Do have my transvaginal scan this pm though so they should be able to tell me for sure whether ovulation did happen. Presumably this couldn't harm the egg/sperm if I have conceived?

re the opk question - that would be lovely if it meant positive for pregnancy cindy but I meant given fertility friend thinks I ovulated the same day as the opk was positive, and I thought opks gave a couple of days ovulation of ovulation, was opk showing positive a day later than it should have or did fertility friend put my ovulation earlier than it was?

Also re temping - it is easy with fertility friend. I do it when I wake up which is usually 8ish but I don't worry if a bit before or a bit after. Fertility friend plots it on chart for you. First half of month pre ovulation is lower than second half of month with a drop the day or the day before af comes. Charting is necessarily because the difference in temps is small - about .3 of a degree sometimes, but the graphs make this more obvious.

no news here - am about to gear up for BD fest.. but am thinking that I might not go too crazy this month - maybe not put o much pressure on - easier said than done tho..

Yellow I had a transvaginal scan and it will do no harm to a bean that is growing etc...it only goes up to the cervix and not all the way, so is completely safe. They will be able to see loads i.e. your ovarian follicles etc clearly and will be able to let you know if there are any problems. With FF it is only an estimation of when they believe you will ovulate... it depends on a lot of things for things to change in your cycle, so only use this as a guide. Everytime I conceived I had bd on CD 8 or CD5 and then carried on until I FF states that I have ovulated and to make sure that I did not miss ovulation I used an OPK stick.. once, I got the pink two lines I knew that I had done my best that month in trying to concieve. So FF is only an estimate to be sure temping is good but also OPK will confirm when ovulation is going to occur. I will be following the DP when I start in July. I always find that if you bed early enough before ovulation that you have more chance of getting pg... well thats my personal opinion. So you may have done enough this month... fingers crossed for you.

Iggy Just take it easy this month, there is no pressure... you will get pg again its just a matter of time Coming on here makes me wanna just start again and who knows I may just join the ttc cycle this month as I just can't wait to get pg again... it will be third time luck for me You should try the DP, it says that after three cycles you should get pg especially after a MC... I gave it a go last time around and I got pg within 3 cycles, so I know it works.... and I didn't follow it to a 'T' just ensured I bd early enough and then followed the plan by missing a day and then perhaps missing two days but when OPK turned pinked ensured I bd that day and then three days after ---- phew!

Yellow WOW that is impressive... your not boasting are you? only joking. Well, I will be surprised if you have not hit that egg twice over!! If we were placing a bet, my money would be on you this month to get that BFP...

Well cindy - on one of those days we did it twice!

But we did have romantic weekend away during that time. And knowing my luck I'll have ovulated during the 4 day period we didn't bd at all! As it is FF says I ovulated day 17. Now I know sperm can survive a few days but I think ours are kamikaze ones.

Yellow it only takes one of your kamikazies to dive straight in to the egg... you never know until the witch turns up... so fingers crossed for you. Why are you having this transvaginal scan again, sorry but I sometimes skim read messages... so I may have missed an earlier post which explains why you are having this done. I am hoping they can see that an egg has been fertilised wouldn't that be wonderful! let me know how you get on this afternoon...

Yellow also, just wanted to add FF is just a guideline on when it believe you will ovulate so if your sticks showed a positive then that is when you should bd. So ignore the FF only use it as a guideline the OPK are never wrong if they are positive then you will ovulated withink 24 -48 hours. I ignore the FF (but use it as a guideline on when to test with my OPK) and follow the DP. I had a friend who has three kids... who swears with bding early... i.e. after AF count five days and then bd... so similiar to DP but she says to do it two days earlier. I am also going to do temping this time around as I believe it will give me a greater insight on whether I have ovulated... so by the end of this experience of ttc I will be an expert on every method!!
