mibbes I'm having achey back/front bh, been here before though and it came to nothing so not going to get too bothered by it until I'm screaming with pain! Lol

Mw just called and asked me to have my bp checked again on mon! They all said it was normal in my apt, then she ran after me in to the car park and asked me to have blood taken, now she calls and says they want to monitor me again!? What is going on! Way to make a girl panic eh!? Been quiet in here today, where are you all? X

ButterflEi · 31/07/2009 22:10

bella im here i have been having a weightloss/incompetent GP discussion in AIBUglad things are starting with you xx
xx ei xx

scully · 01/08/2009 04:37

Great news Bella, hopefully things are underway for you
I went from 2-3cm to ds being born in 4hrs, with dd2 it took 7hrs, hopefully won't be long and drawn out for you.
Never got to Ikea Ei. By the time I took dd1 to gymnastics, did some grocery shopping, picked dd1 up, and went to an art show at her school (major fundraiser for the year), I'm now rather tired...... the dd's are outside playing and ds is sleeping on dh's lap, so I can't be bothered loading everyone up into the car and going anywhere
Hope you're all well and have a great weekend

BellaHarry · 01/08/2009 08:31

ei hiya! My sis has an imcompetent GP, makes me so angry!

Scully Wow! 4 hours! Amazing, I've accepted I'm going to have a long drawn out labour that. Way I'll be pleasantly suprised if it's quick! Lol

Help ladies!? I have been waking up all night with very strong back pain, had it since 6pm yesterday and I'm propped on sofa now whinging, I have had lots of irregular and painless contractions and (warning in advance)and have had a blood tinged slimy mucus all night, that started more jelly like yesterday early afternoon...what is happening with me? Am I going in to labour, or what? If I am why has it not got worse just stayed the same, fairly bearable? Any advivice would be very welcome, I've not read up enough on this obviously x xx

BellaHarry · 01/08/2009 09:16

Yuk! Definatly lost mucus plug now! Blood tinged too, however back pain has passed and contractions stopped! OMG this is frustrating...what now?

mibbes · 01/08/2009 10:07

Bella LOL at realisation that you have lost your plug !! It isn't pretty but it is only going to get worse - sorry ! Sounds like things are advancing well albeit a bit start/stop which is frustrating. You may well be one of the lucky ones that dilate quite far without realising you are in proper labour. I bet once you start getting painful contractions you'll deliver in no time atall like scully. You are doing well keeping calm missus, keep doing what you are doing and brace yourself as you may be meeting your baby within hours . On the other hand the wee blighter may still take a day or 2 but PMA my dear

mibbes · 01/08/2009 10:11

Oh I meant to say actually, my NCT friend who was due twins went to hospital with back pain and they kept her in overnight to monitor her. She said that all night she had back pain but no contractions. When they checked her in the morning she was 10cm and they told her to start pushing !! Some ladies apparently don't get contractions as such ! Mind you she was 7 weeks early. It may be that you are progressing well without realising - I really hope so. How exciting the next thread baby is on the way !!! This is the start of your birth story Bella, it is so lovely sharing it with you xx

BuddhaBellybigpants · 01/08/2009 10:33

Bella How exciting, hope you can keep us updated right to the last second Good luck and really hope things progress for you today, wishing you a short and pain free labour

BellaHarry · 01/08/2009 10:35

Aaw thanks Mibbes I think it's posting on here that's keeping me sane x

mibbes · 01/08/2009 10:38

Fruityjuice · 01/08/2009 11:13

oooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhh, Bella!!!!!!!!!!

I obviously haven't caught up with you all yet.
Was out again last night at the Abbeyfest, drunk waaaaaayyy too much, been throwing up all night and this morning that'll teach me - got a flat tummy now though! I'm sure when I brave food it'll come bouncing back.

BellaHarry · 01/08/2009 11:14

Thanks buddha, I've forced myself to waddle in to town!

BuddhaBellybigpants · 01/08/2009 11:16

Bella Make sure your waters break in a nice posh shop you might get something nice! (Do they still that I know M&S used too ) You are a mad woman though
Fruity What are you like drunken bum!

Fruityjuice · 01/08/2009 11:26

I've no idea buddha, I can't seem to say no

are there any posh shops in Sutton?

BellaHarry · 01/08/2009 14:03

No posh shops in Sutton lol! Good thing really as I was so rude to all the shop assistants, kept snapping when they asked if I needed help I had to go in though as it's DH and I's 1st wedding anniversary on Mon! Had to get him something.

Fruity hope your feeling more perky?!

No major progress here, was achey and crampy all the way around town but never got too much to handle.....can't believe I'm wishing for more pain!lol

BellaHarry · 01/08/2009 16:16

All stopped again!!! I could scream!

SparklyPseudonym · 01/08/2009 16:47

Have just walked into town because there is a festival on. Could do with a long nap after getting up and silly o'clock this morning to go to hospital. Haven't had anymore bleeding and whilst injection was painful, I'm glad I had it.
Very funny - after I realised I'd had a bit of bleeding last night and spoke to MW she asked if I could have cut myself shaving/have piles/picked a spot etc. No.
This am I thought 'I could end up having an interal so I'd better sort out the old bikini line - I only frigging cut myself and there was fresh blood all over the shower . Thank god for no internal. I didn't fancy discussing that infront of my mother (who very kindly came with me).
Bella Hope things kick off soon.
Fruity How's the hangover?
Mibbes I quite fancy a labour like that. Maybe I'll put it on my birth plan. Gorgeous pics of E on FB. He's divine.
Ei How are things chick?

Well my best friend has been in delivery suite since before 8 (she was 4cm dilated then) and STILL no news. Poor girl. Hope she's ok.

EI Love the new thread title, let's hope it's new thread, new baby for you

Well girls, not sure how to put this and have tried typing this a few times over the last few days, I feel I have no choice but to step away from MN. The BIL/SIL situation has gone t*ts up and it makes me really uncomfortable to think that she may still be stalking reading my posts . I don't want to write anything personal on here and that's what the whole thing is about. I can't imagine for one minute my name changing worked. It is killing me to say goodbye as the support I have received on here for well over 12months has been amazing and I feel like I'm cutting off my limbs writing this I will still lurk as there is no way I cannot follow you all, I will keep in touch via FB and text for those of you I have numbers for. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the invaluable support, mentoring, counselling and fun I've had on this thread.
Love to each and everyone of you
Mollie
