Gina84uk - I'm having problems OV too and with longer cycles it's so hard to pin point the right time to BD. The CBFM has really helped my, last month I peaked CD20-21 and had a 40ish day cycle; I would never have worked that out on my own. You may have to use 20 sticks per cycle like me but it's defo worth it! Good luck!!

I?ve had good news!!!!! After the rubbish scan on Wednesday I wasn?t holding out much hope for today?s. Well they did the right side first and I could see there was nothing there so I started getting a bit emotional and then the nurse switched sides and I could see this huge dark area on the monitor. I thought that can?t be a follicle it?s too big, but it is! They measured it at 28mm! That?s grown from 7mm two days ago. So I?ve just given myself the trigger shot and I?m in for a fun filled weekend! They gave me Pregnyl, and that injection bloody hurt! I?m not complaining really.

so i bought 40 from ebay

Sorry I have been MIA this week but, work been so crazy busy then too knackered to do much more than usual dinner routin, shower go to bed and DTD! My peak finally came on CD29!!!! So, I am heading for a 42 day cycle so, earliest I can test is next saturday at about 10DPO so, will probably be a BFN but, you never now!! Hope everyone is haviong a good weekend. Must go and do some housework and shopping! Oh the joys!!!

Hey guys, woke up with slight pms cramps. spotting really light pinkish with wierd pain on the right (stopped after a few mins. Well unluck me this month i guess. I cant believe i have to wait and go through the same thing next month
Damn monitor, i had 2 peaks and a high so what went wrong.

Kairo some girls don't fall pregnant the first couple of times using the monitor. It just gives us a better chance than using OPK's alone. I hope that it will work for you by the end of the year hun.

well flow is heavy now, having bad cramps,
i hope am lucky on my next try, it will be interesting to see which days are my peak again.

oh another thing, my previous fertility tests were set for am. I have set my monitor to 12pm now so it gives me a 6 hr window which includes time to test mid afternoon and early morning.
I did this because i read that its better to test mid afternoon.
Lets see if that works. Is anyone in this forum using preseed?

Well that was a shagtastic nice weekend. I?m officially on the 2WW! How I?m gonna get through this one I don?t know.

Gina84uk ? No questions are stupid? My scan was to check my follicles were growing to a nice size and that I wasn?t over stimulating. When you inject yourself with hormones everyday the clinic has got to keep a close eye on you.

Shmoo ? I so glad you got your peak honey! Are you gonna hold off testing until Saturday?

Kairo ? I?m a big Pre-seed fan. We don?t use it all the time, but when you?ve had a weekend like my last one it can really help. Are you using it?

Bubbalewy ? I?m only 3DPO and tired of waiting!!! Come on body! This will be the longest 2WW ever. Test day should be Sat 28th but I?ll be luck to make it to Tues 24th. Is testing early sooooo bad? When?s your test day, Saturday? Good luck to us!!!

Keziahhopes - Hello and welcome! I hope your good news is right around the corner. Have you been to the Doc?s yet? I noticed you?ve been going over a year. I waited 9 months before I bit the bullet. Are you getting ?peaks? about the same time every month? Fingers crossed this will be your month.

Welcome Keziah, yes it does tend to get you down a bit after a while of fttc... Hope it doesn´t take too much longer for you.

Am now on CD11 - was debating whether to use the CBFM this month, but seeing as I automatically started POAS yesterday morning have decided to go with it. Fed up just about sums up my mood at the mo.

Hell all, hope everyones ok... i havent even thought about testing to be honest vikks! yeah i know im acting all weird lately lol i havent even had that excited feeling you get when you sympton spot! i had slight period pain last night but not for long, it got me symptom spotting till bed time got my referral app so i will tell ya all what he says about me no-peaks etc asap

Vikks - yes, saw Gp 2 months ago - he said "some people just don't fall pregnant!" ... we decided, husband and I, that we'd go back in Jan if no success with monitor. Peaks have been only one day different in 2 months, cycles vary by one day or so.

I have a few other health issues, but my immunologist said it shouldn't affect my chances of getting pregnant. Though am avoiding all medication as a precaution (and hence ended up in hospital with pleurisy!) so I cannot keep "waiting" and avoid medication I need to keep me free of infections. Seeing immunologist on Friday. Tricky balance.

Monkey -sorry you bit down too. Hope you find monitor helps this month.

Hi Ladies!

Still here in Ghana. I am not using my monitor this month... and hoping that changing the time zone doesn't completely screw up with my cycle!! I am supposed to peak this coming Tuesday (will be back home Sunday...) So hubby is waiting and stacking up those swimmers!! I really hope this is our month!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep I will test this Sat 21/11 as, will be 10 days since my 1st Peak i am a poas addict can't help it keep telling myself that, when I see BFN's it helps me to be ready for when AF arrives so, I am not caught unawares!!! Still have a good cry when she arrives but, at least I expect her more than not testing! I just hate the not knowing ifykwim?

Realistically how long can you go without testing? I once made it to 13DPO but I can?t see that happening again? Does everyone always wait until AF is due? I?m weak I know!!! Slap my wrists, form orderly cue?..
I?m 5DPO and symptom spotting like a crazy. I?ve been looking at some charts on ?Fertility Friend? and there?s quite a few positive tests done less that 12DPO.
I think I find it hard to pin all my hopes on one late test, and find that testing early and getting those BFN helps me keep my feet on the ground and not day dream too much.

vikks yep I have normally started my poas action already but, I refraned today planning on waiting until Wed when she is offically due. This time round I am too scared to see a BFP or BFN for some strange reason

I was thinking of buying one of these but wasn't sure if it was worth the expense as am now temping and was using OPKs (CB digital ones).

How useful are they and is there anywhere that sells them cheap !

Loujalou try Amazon.co.uk the CBFM and 20sticks were just under £70 compared to paying £120 in say Boots!!!! OPK's I find are cheaper on accessdiagnostics.co.uk I don't temp as tried it before and was waking up after less than 3hrs sleep worring that i wouldn't get enough sleep to temp properly!
