CE, CD5 was infact CD6. I buggered the days up and then couldnt fix it so just so everyone knows im a day ahead of what chart says. I had a lay in that day and i think with the clomid and the hot flushes thats why it was so high. Thanks for confirming it for me though its nice to have reassurance.

I'm going to try very hard to temp everyday but like you said its realy hard when you have another DC. Esp when you wake at 5 to find them standing over you and saying 'Mummy can you sort my covers out and i need a wee' quite why she has to walk past the bathroom to tell me she needs a wee is beyond me and she is such a fidget in bed i have seriously considered glueing the covers down so i dont have to sort them out 5 times a night !!! It is laughable when you think i jumped up and then stood there thinking 'FFS i forgot to temp' what a thing to be thinking at 5 in the morning!!!

ray81 · 05/03/2009 17:09

Oh and my cycles are normally between 30-35 days the last 3 have been 31 days which should hopefully stay that way now. I have an lp of 16 days too.

Dawni · 05/03/2009 18:56

ChocEclair-delighted the scan went well. DD2 is a thumb sucker and she sucked her thumb on the scans.

Dawni-you have the weight of the world on your head and I think you are dealing with it brilliantly. It is fine to have a good cry to clear the cobwebs.

Hi to everyone else.

Dawni so glad you are feeling better about things - fingers crossed you get some good news very soon

CE about the scan - I bet it was great seeing mini-eclair again! Hope you are getting lots of sleep now whilst you can!!

MJIM wow 24 weeks already - it really does only seem like a couple of months ago when you told us you were in labour lol! Time really is whizzing by at the moment! I felt exactly the same yesterday when I was packing up Sam's 0-3 month clothes!

Josh is a little poorly tonight - he was not himself when he came home from nursery (the main indicator was that he actually couldn't be bothered to torment play with Sam ) and went to bed without any fuss at all. He has a bit of a temperature aswell - will see how he is tomorrow.

Morning all

finally got rid of Mil and enjoying the freedom of my own house!! DD had her class assembly today and she chose today to become little miss shy (if you knew her you would be [shocked] at even suggesting such a thing) so she didn't say her lines and the teacher had to do it. she was very sweet though!

CE - at your scan. Not long to go now!

MJIM - I cannot beleive that it is 24 weeks since Naomi joined our thread! Hope the weighing goes ok today.

Ceebee hope that Josh is feeling a little better, there is certainly a bug going around.

Dawni - sometimes you just need to let it all out! It sounnds like it has done you some good, and glad that you managed to have a good talk with dh about it too.

HC - only 2 weeks to the scan I bet you can't wait can you?

Ray - that is exactly why I didn't temp - it was way too confusing for me Hopefully HC and CE can sort you out!!

Willmouse - glad that you have managed to find some cure for the ms - long may it last!.

Wave to everyone else, ds just woken up and I still havn't had my lunch! (mn came first!)

MrsPuddleduck · 06/03/2009 13:11

Hi

Bellie - thank goodness MIL is gone in time for you to enjoy the weekend!

Dawni - hope you are still Ok

MJIM - we never play wii fit anymore - we were obsessed when we first got it. Becuase it records your weight daily and you can see if you put weight back on it is a great incentive. Are you jogging for 20 mins yet? LOL. I used to like the step but it didn't feel very aerobic!

CE - good news on the presentation! I agree with MJIM you want it to just drop down at the last minute! I was weeing 3 times a night towards the end last time. Did you get the scan just to check you weren't still breech or is it a new thing?

Hi to everyone else!

Thanks for lovely messages! You lot are great.

And many thanks for BF advice. Frankly if he never takes the breast ever I don't really care. I hand milked colostrum into syringes for the 2 days in hospital (v pleased with myself) and have since discovered pumping (awkward as it can be) has some great perks; like we're in total control of amounts and DH can do half - they're bonding ever so well. I'm just happy I have milk really. Felix should be taking no less than 45 ml/feed but 60 ml is better, 6 - 7 feeds over 24 hours, and by Sunday 90 ml/feed. We get him v cold and cranky and it does seem to work - otherwise he forgets to swallow the little monkey.

CE that's great news. Can't wait to see how it all goes. To answer your question we could have never imagined what it would be like - can only describe it with falling in love like you never have before at the same time as being more knackered than you thought possible. The routine we're trying to have turns day and night into 3-4 hour chunks - and then it starts all over again. It's a shock to the system but it does allow for more quality of life, even the odd 10 mins of web browsing and at least 6 h of sleep per person (only Felix gets 20)! Oh, and parenthood can turn men into fantastic multi taskers and cleanliness freaks.

Have added some new pics.
xx

Dawni · 06/03/2009 15:26

Good afternoon ladies, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend

We have a new lease of life here after yesterdays blow out, we chatted most of the night and shared a very romantic shower then snuggled up on the sofa...things are calmer again and DH has been the doctors and he told the doctor how his been feeling, the doc has given him something else to try and also said that if his sperm is affected by the medication then we would be elligable for IUI or IVF !!!!!! Will still keep trying though until we get to the fertility clinic, im now CD23 and spotting has stopped but still getting small amounts of brown discharge, so will most probably get AF...But im not too concerned at the moment, im going to go with the flow...Mam has just landed

Back later

Much love

D xx

Hi to everyone

Mandy - sounds like you and your DH are coping marvelously! You would never believe that you could cope with so little sleep until faced with it head on!

MJIM - keep us posted re the weaning. I have always weaned mine earlier. DS1 was huge and was weaned at 3 months and DS2 ended up being weaned because he wouldn't take to a bottle at all and I got really paraniod that he wasn't getting enough from me. I'm not sure why, I think he started waking up in the night having slept through. It did help. Are you going to continue bfing for 12 months? I intend to this time around. I managed about 7 months with DS2.

Dawni - I hope the new medication works for your DH. It is positive that you will be elligible for IVF as well if it does cause a problem. Hope the spotting goes. The problem is spotting is a sign of pg as well so you can still beat yourself up over the whole thing for a couple of days yet! Don't do that by the way

DH has relented and said we can have a takeaway tonight - aparently they are dangerous when pg. Men!

ChocEclair · 06/03/2009 17:45

Mandy - pics are gorgeous! He's so alert! And I'm loving the little booties!

A work colleague described having your first baby as ;ike being in love also - brill! You look really happy (makes all those nights wearing that mini-skirt worth it! lol! )

willmouse - enjoy your take away! I can't remember the last time I ate a full sized meal!

MJIM - it's ok to start weaning at 6 months isn't it?! Is she showing any interest in food at all? Do you use puree's or finger foods? (Can you tell I have been reading up on BLW!?!)

Dawni - you sound so much happier today! Glad you have got it all out and great news about the possible IVF.

Lovely sunny day here - walked along the prom (about 2 miles) and having lots of BX today! I had to keep stopping and bending over! I have put the pic from yesterday's scan on - although you can't see very much.

PS> Will someone start the new thread! 991 messages!

Ceebee74 · 06/03/2009 20:02

Mandy aaww he looks so gorgeous (and you look fab aswell )

MJIM why are you debating whether to wean or not? Is it because you don't think she is ready as you approach 6 months? Or that she is ready and she is not 6 months (iyswim)?

CE Sounds like you are having a lovely time on your ML. Lol at not eating a full meal - the relief after the baby is born and you suddenly have space/no heartburn is just fantastic!!

Bellie I bet you are SO glad your MIL has left the building At least you can enjoy your lovely DS now in peace!! How has your DD taken it?

Dawni great news about the IVF (if needed) - that must be a weight off your mind! Hope you had another good day today.

Can someone tell me if nursery pump obedience drugs into the food?? I have never ever been able to walk with Josh holding hands as he has always protested really loudly and refused - so basically we don't walk anywhere near roads unless one of us is carrying him or he is in a pushchair. On Tuesday he went for a little trip with his keyworker from nursery to the garden centre to buy some flowers that is next door to the nursery - it involves walking along the main road, that they are both on, for literally 10 metres. Anyway, to cut a long story short (or not!) me and DH went to pick him up this afternoon and DH usually carries him back as he won't hold hands.....lo and behold he very obediently held my hand all the way home saying that he had to because there were cars coming and he didn't protest once!! I have asked him till I am blue in the face to hold my hand and all of a sudden because the nursery staff have asked him to, he does it Ah well, hopefully it will continue

Oh and he also did a wee on the toilet at nursery (they wrote it in his book) - do you think they are hinting that he might be ready??
