trying for a September baby, anyone want to join?

Hi All, have been on a couple of ttc hreads but due to sad arrival of af yesterday and x2 negative pg testa thought I'd start a September one.

We are ttc#2 we already have dd(2) and had a mc in September this will be cycle 3 since mc.

Mc hit me hard, more so than other adverse life events for some reason also head full of other stuff such as trying to complete a Post grad Diploma in Cognitive Therapy!!

Anyway want to try to be optimistic and hopeful and not (too!) obsessive this month!

Anyone else fancy joining?? xx

Hi all, too knackered for a proper post as just got home. Just wanted to say mission accomplished! Guard on camp gate was when I responded to his "how long will you be visiting for" with "ooh probably about 20 minutes tops!". Here goes for the 2ww now.

Oh Forces i cant stop laughing at your post! I can just see the guard's face, it will all be round camp by now, your hubby will be a hero! Good luck with your 2ww!!

I wasnt "planning" to ttc just yet- was waiting until the new year (so that i can enjoy xmas and new years!),but anytime whould be great.
....but have been having preperiod pains for a few days now and have been feeling light headed,etc. I remember this feeling from my other pregnancys. (had mc last year and have ds (8months)).
tested yesterday and today using cheapy tests from internet (always use them), but both BFN.
think i am due soon (only has 1 period last month since stopping bf).
I am sure i ovulated at cd14 as I had ewcm (which coincided with a naughty drunken night-tee hee!!) and then did cheapy ovulation test 2 days later and it had a faint line (which means ovulation just happened or is happening).
would love a sept baby!! baby dust to us all!!!

Part of my concern - has anyone else found that after having a baby, your cycle is just completely different? I never used to get period pains before DD, but now - well, now I realise I should have been more sympathetic to those who've always had them. And (TMI alert) I produce veritable buckets of EWCM now, never did before pregnancy. Odd. Since the conditions feel so different from five years ago, it makes me dubious that I'll get pg so easily this time.

Laughing at Forcessweetheart and her guard. Wonder if he hears that very often?

Welcome LittleRascal - the more the merrier.

I have DH primed for the bd marathon we are going to have between Christmas and New Year - so hopefully there will be good news come 12th January! :-) No excuses of tiredness as loads of time off! :-)

I am now on a deadline, my hubby has to go back on tablets that doesnt allow us to have children, he goes on them in Feb....bugger. We have 2-3 trys left, only other thing is getting his sperm froze. We will have to go at it with overtime now, if i wasnt going crazy about this before, i will be now!

Just discovered this thread. We TTC first time this month with sperm donor. No fun at all, so keeping everything crossed to avoid more quality syringe time . AF due on Sat, fingers crossed it doesn't come.

Not due to ov until next week, but getting strange pain in lower left, ov kit says no, but i might try just incase as it did have a very faint blue line. My cyles have been later since last year with my mc, so im wondering if things might be getting back to normal again. does anyone else get those pains arround ov time or do they just come and go about a week before. Ive never taken much notice of them before, so im not sure.

littlepea, I usually get generalised cramping for several hours on ov day followed that night by a short sharp pain on one side after which the cramping stops I'm pretty sure that's me ov'ing. Was wary of waiting and trusting in that this month tho as last month I didn't get it at all and was convinced it was an anovulatory cycle. As I was driving to camp last night I felt the cramping but didn't notice the sharp pain (may have been while I was otherwise occupied!) I reckon there's no harm in you getting to it now just in case Good luck!

OMG, after a conversation about someone dh knows testing after feeling sick at 4 weeks, i tested.....

and i got my BFP!!!!

haven't posted for ages as mega busy at work (i run a shop with my hubby so its our busy time)but had to post to say congrats olivo - may this be the first of lots on this thread!!!

i am trying not to symptom spot as af due in about 5 days - haven't really been looking after myself this month though so don't think it will be my month but i am so pleased for you olivo.

i have had blood tests this month to - get the results tomorrow - hopefully give me some idea if i am actually ov or not.

Good luck everyone else. I hope this is the start of a flurry of BFPs. This waiting seems endless (I am due on xmas eve). Half the time I feel really hopeful and the rest I'm convinced we can't be that lucky first time.

Littlepea - having a time limit sounds very stressful. I really hope you get your BFP before then (and that DP is okay). Sounds like you will be having a VERY festive xmas and new year .
