trying for a September baby, anyone want to join?

Hi All, have been on a couple of ttc hreads but due to sad arrival of af yesterday and x2 negative pg testa thought I'd start a September one.

We are ttc#2 we already have dd(2) and had a mc in September this will be cycle 3 since mc.

Mc hit me hard, more so than other adverse life events for some reason also head full of other stuff such as trying to complete a Post grad Diploma in Cognitive Therapy!!

Anyway want to try to be optimistic and hopeful and not (too!) obsessive this month!

Got BFN this morning on a cheapie ebay test, but still no sign of AF. I am pretty sure I ov'd on CD CD19, and I have always come on on the 10th day post-ov, so should have come on yesterday. I don't know whether to get my hopes up or whether my LP is just longer this month coz I've taken 50mg b6 every day since ov. Is it possible the b6 has worked to lengthen my LP so quickly? Have loads of cheapie tests so will continue to test each morning til AF or BFP shows up!

Forces i cant do a test untill a few days after my af was due, it just never showed up, twice. So i would just keep on trying them for a couple of days. The dearer tests would be able to pick up anything alot sooner. Good luck!!

im still here waiting for af to arrive. had some achesand pains, breast tenderness and my cervix has moved upwards slightly from its usual position (tmi for some. sorry)could that mean i am finally ovulating???????

Think I ov'd yesterday cos had sharp pain in my abdomen and ewcm so hopefully this will be the month. DH and I were BDing day 8, 10, 12, 13, and will have another go tonight so then it's the 2ww for me again!

How are all of you ladies - I am now on the 2ww - having exhausted both myself and DH (wipes brow and flops on couch) so will now have the next few weeks of symptom spotting to get through before testing and a result (hopefully the one I want)

Feel like I have a tummy bug or something today though - pains in my stomach and nausea - I know it's not pg symptons but wish it would go away so I know if anything hapens that it's really proper symptons.

Well i should have about 6-7 days before af is due. Im trying to pack up boxes, but today is not happening. My tummy is alot more rounded an it is, im feeling dizzy & faint & im getting mild sharp pains in my tummy now and again. Also was nearly sick too. Yesterday & the day before i had mild cramps but they had stopped. Either coming down with something or some wishful thinking! Hate the waiting!!

this waiting is driving me round the bloody twist.... its been 10 wks now since af was due.

well today i felt sick and light headed. so i did a hpt and it said not pregnant. i knew deep down i wasnt but seeing those words AGAIN really has peed me off.

Oh dear, don't blame you for testing - I would have done the same.

My cycle is not as predictable since the mc now on cd 13 and no sign of ov test positive though day 13 would have been my normal ovulation day previously - already tested for 4 days and cervix still well within reach so not going to be for awhile I imagine, though we are pretty much on the deanna plan this month so getting busy anyway (quietly as staying with relatives) and hoping for the best.

The lack of influence I can have over my body feels frustrating.

Me and dh ttc #3. I have no idea about cycles (as have had mirena).
Last AF was 8th Dec, and despite us both having the flu me and dh managed to try a few times Xmas week.
I dont seem to have EWCM but dont know if thats significant.

Any advice would be great, keeping my fingers crossed for everyone hoping for a september baby

Well AF arrived on xmas day - I was very disappointed but luckily have had such a great hol I haven't had time to mope. I think I could possibly have a sept baby if I concieve this month so I hope you don't mind if I hang about.

Hope that someone can help me. I have been having strange pains in my tummy, its like a tighting feeling, like someone is putting their hands arround it and squeezing then letting go,its like when your tummy rumbles from hunger, but no rumble! lol....i hope this doesnt sound to weird, but its been happening off and on all day. Back is also killing me, so im off to swim in the bath!

i've had such a rubbish day am getting sick of everything. On cd 32 today still no af and x2 bfn hpts (clearblue digital). was going to wait to test til nye but cos we're out tonight instead thought I'd test early as didn't want to be irresponsible.

body is playing horrible tricks on me, bobs are achy and fit to burst but no bean for me this time .

The hope then the disappointment of the last few days has made me and dh at each others throats and I nearly walked out. each time I see a "not pregnant" I get the same feeling I had when i had mc, anger and desperation.

don't know how much longer I can do this, think I might change name too as I'm sure this ones jinxed.

Evening all, I'm on CD30 my normal cycle is between 28 and 34 days so thought I'd leave it to day 35 (04.01) and test then if the witch hasn't got to me first, I think I ovulated on CD17 and then had ew again on cd25 and 27 along with about two spots of blood, my boobs hurt for a few days and I had some cramping and have had backache not that I'm symptom spotting or anything but now I feel like I'm going to come on so just really confused.

Hello all. Peacelily I won't pretend I know how you feel but... I sort of do, and can def relate to your feelings of anger and desperation. I feel fairly optimistic this week but that's only because I've been BD'ing, and I find the part of my cycle where I'm allegedly fertile and BD'ing to be the part where I'm cheeriest. It's because I feel in control, and like I'm doing everything I can to get PG. By contrast, the 2ww sucks, and of course the BFNs. Suddenly all control is lost, and the very notion of having any feels like an illusion. In my head I've given myself six months from now (ie 8 in total) to get PG, even though I know this isn't very long, and that it may well take longer. Like you, though, I don't think I can stumble indefinitely up and down these peaks and troughs of hope and despair. Still, at least we've all got each other! (cue corny music from Christmas weepie on ITV2).

Well, CD13 tonight so another quiet shag as the in-laws creak around us and DD snores peacefully next door. We have to do it in a single bed, as I drew the line at doing it in the same room as DD is sleeping. No idea when I'm ovulating as have run out of pee sticks, can't get the hang of temping and don't have a sliver of CM, EW or otherwise. Hey ho!

Littlepea really not sure about the strange tummy feelings! Every month I get a strange tum and get my hopes up, only for AF to arrive - I think I'm just so much more aware of such things when TTC than I am usually. But I'm hoping for you it's all a good sign!

peacelily- just want to send you some big hugs ((( ))) I kind of know a bit of how you feel, but also know I'm so lucky to already have 2 DCs... Just that this time I'm on my 7th cycle and it seems like TTC is taking forever- the rollercoaster of each month isn't something I'd anticipated and as much as I say I won't obsess I almost can't help it... But I rationalise it all saying that we haven't BDed enough previous months- so going to try "properly" for a few more cycles before I finally start looking further & banging on my GP's door... But it's got to be so having got pregnant and then suffered a miscarriage, and have to embark on this rollercoaster again Really hope your BFNs turn into BFPs.

Well DH returns this eve so hoping to get some more BDing in, though think my EWCM has now dried up so not sure if we've missed it this month Guess I'll know in a couple of weeks... Definitely agree with you the 2WW is the killer...

littlepea I had the exact same thing yesterday a really tight sensation in my stomach all day that came and went and sometimes was so painful I had to catch my breath.Don't know what it was but glad to know I wasn't alone in that.

So DH is getting all excited abotu me poss being pg cos he's like "well we bd'd lots for the days we should have so it's defo going to happen" Hopefully we won't have to bring him back to earth with a thud this month. [hmmm]
