OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Wow Beanie congratulations

beanieb · 12/05/2009 10:23

Am feeling slightly calmer now. I really don't know what to do with myself though and am resisting googling incase I scare myself with all the things which could go wrong.

I woke up this morning and could smell something really strongly - forget what it was - so I thought sod it, I'll test. the second line came up immediately! I thought I would cry but I didn't, I just kept saying OMG OMG OMG I think I am pregnant to my OH.

We shared a bottle of wine last night (To celebrate mr Beanie cooking a curry!!) which was naughty! ERK!

Have worked out that if this one sticks I will be 10 weeks pregnant at Glastonbury festival and 14 weeks pregnant at my wedding. My mum started making the dress yesterday! ARRGGHHHHH!

PistachioLemon · 12/05/2009 16:50

PistachioLemon · 12/05/2009 20:46

Thanks Mollie.

I'm really okay about it but if this month doesn't work I might pop down to the docs and see what she has to say (probably just lose a few pounds and get healthier, but you never know she might be helpful).

Congratulations again Beanie

zen1980 · 12/05/2009 21:09

Had no real idea as me and DH where away on hol last week and I ate and drank the stuff you shouldn't and felt rank on Fri. It was him who suggested I could be i just thought AF was off again as it has been since MC did a test (well 3) on sat morn and came up straight away. Alot stronger than last time?? Is this a good sign. I have felt a lot worse this time and even threw up this morning??

I have had a tiny bit of spotting but am not going to panic and am at docs on Thurs, so will request an early scan. Mollie what do you think my chances are they did say after mmc that there shouldnt be a problem??

Oh blimey a mass exodus from here to the due in Jan (is it - or Feb?) thread!!

ClaireDeLoon · 12/05/2009 21:21

forgot to add a few

Biccy · 12/05/2009 21:35

Hello, can I gatecrash? Congratulations to the recent BFPs!

I normally post about TTC on a different thread, but there's nobody there at the moment and I just have to share my news...

Have been a very naughty girl, and could not resist using a cheap test I had in my drawer... I am only CD22... but I got a very faint BFP! Thinking this was ridiculous I got out a Boots one I also had stashed, which you are only supposed to use from the day you are due... well, that one is faintly BFP as well.

Am allowed to be a little bit excited? We have been trying since October, and had 2 chemical pregnancies and 1 MC... I know that with this history I really should avoid testing, but I am so regular that I can't help knowing about CPs. I am really hoping that these test already showing something is a good sign for this time as in loads of hormones.

Well, sorry to be so self indulgent, but am home alone and bursting with it all!

beanieb · 12/05/2009 21:36

OH Zen! Congratulations to you too! Am so so pleased to hear your news! I really hope this means we ARE on a roll and that everyone else gets their good news soon.

Thank you sparkly - I wish I had known. I bet mr Beanie that I wasn't pregnant and I now apparently owe him £1000 [grin

claire PistachioLemon, Shayera thank you all for sharing this with me, I really hope we all get to meet up soon in one of the pregnancy threads, though I am a bit too scared to go over there at the moment so might hang around here for a while

mollie - oh my f***g god are the exact words I used this morning!

piper thank you so much for your congrats.

How is your pregnancy going and what do I do now ?

I have a scan in june, will be 7 weeks. don't know if this is unusual but it's at the ivf clinic so I guess they just need to check things over because of the clomid.

beanieb · 12/05/2009 21:38

welcome Biccy

I recon if you have it on two tests it must be true, though 22 days is very early but not unheard of. Any chance you might have ovulated earlier than you thought?

I think a tentative congratulations could be in order.

PistachioLemon · 12/05/2009 21:39

Oh, yes Beanie, and Zen and all you preggo ladies, please hang around until the rest of us are ready to leave - don't leave us here on our own!

Biccy - two tests, two lines? I reckon you're officially pregnant too! Congratulations! Woohoo

Biccy · 12/05/2009 21:46

Thank you beanieb and pistachio... we were trying the Deanna plan this month, so using OPKs for the first time. Had positive OPK on CD12 and managed BD on CDs 12/13/14/16...
I am still rather embarrased about having tested at all - only earlier I was congratulating myself on having put the First Responses back on the shelf in Boots...

Biccy · 12/05/2009 21:49

Sorry it didn't happen for you this month Pistachio... just read back through the thread a bit ...

PistachioLemon · 12/05/2009 21:55

Thanks Biccy - ever onwards!

So what's the Deanna plan?

Biccy · 12/05/2009 22:04

Deanna plan (also know as Sperm meets Egg plan) is this: you start trying on CD8 and try every other day. You start doing OPKs on CD10. When you get a positive you try on that day and the next two consecutive days, then a night off, then one last try. Then test 15 days after your OPK (ok, so I failed on this step). If you don't get a positive you just keep on going every other day and (I think) test on CD35 assuming AF hasn't arrived. That's it in a nutshell anyway, more info here.

It's supposed to double your chances of conceiving. I thought it was worth a go, though it was quite hard work keeping to the regime (especially as DP is one of those who doesn't want to be made aware of all the details of TTC!).

SmilingEi · 12/05/2009 23:04

Molliemooma · 13/05/2009 09:25
