Just realised, I didn't answer your question after all that! I'm trying not to test until I'm over my longest cycle date - so if I can stand it I won't test until day 35. Although I don't usually last that long and crack sometime after day 28!

My first cycle when I came off the pill was quite long (for me) - I think it can happen quite a lot. Keeping my fingers crossed for you PistachioLemon

I forgot to say in my post before, I've heard it can take a while for cycles to regularise after coming off the pill but I haven't been on the pill for years so I know that the first month of TTC wasn't a long cycle because of that.

Ei sorry they are messing around with your HSG but lots of luck for this cycle.

DP and I went against doctors advice last night and had sex. I bled quite heavily today, so I think it is linked to sex after all. I'm actually feeling quite scared about it now.

Thanks for warm welcome too. AF due next Sunday, BD'd day before OV then DH buggered off to Dubai so that was me lot and ovulated on my good side as well- we will have to see...... After so long though it hardly seems worth wondering but still do!!!

Still not got my period. negative test on - erm - Saturday I think. Am just going to sit here and wait until my period turns up. Bought two tests yesterday and I am now 3 days late but surely it must be the Clomid because of that negative test?!?

so frustrating because I had planned when my fertile times would be and now everything will be knocked on a bit meaning that I will probably be ovulating at Glastonbury festival (unless I get pregnant first) and Me and my OH will be sharing a tent with my sister and be grubby! Dammit!!

ClaireDeLoon sorry to hear about the bleeding. I guess if they know it's as a result of sex they might be able to find out the reason a bit quicker?

It's so frustrating when your cycle changes isn't it? Mine have shortened from 29 days to 26 days and I know it doesn't seem a lot but it does throw your forward planning.

I have got the usual 'week before AF' feelings- can anyone else tell so early that she is on her way??? Not due till the weekend but just get niggles that tell me something is afoot!

mummy2olivia I get sore boobs a week before, but then apparently that's also a pregnancy symptom. When I was pregnant I was just over a week late before I realised as I thought my sore boobs meant my period was imminent and in fact I'd got my dates mixed up - was thinking it was due when in fact I was a week late.

What sort of niggles do you get?

Thanks ladies. I wasn't convinced it was my month so although I'm a bit gutted, I'm not surprised and am kind of okay about it all (at the moment anyway).

My AF niggles are usually cramps for a week or so beforehand and every few months TERRIBLE PMT - major blues/bitch from hell type PMT. Not pretty in any way shape or form (poor DH)!

me too mummy2olivia, I get sore boobs and a really bad stopy feet and crying type temper about a week before.

I get really hyper the day before my period, almost like I am on a massive high.

OMG! did a test, BFP.
I am absolutely amazed.
I am so grateful for all the words of encouragement everyone has given me the last few days.

Am not going to graduate myself as I want to wait a bit, I can only be a little bit pregnant really, but OMG. The Clomid must have 'worked' - perhaps my problem was my short luteal phase and my eggs not maturing well?

Am in a mild state of panic.

I KNEW that was coming!
