hi ladies
sorry to bring the thread down but... my BFP turned into a MC on tuesday night/wednesday morning so im now CD4 after MC#4 i have discussed it with my consultant and he still thinks it is worth doing the HSG as the MC was still very early. im booked in for 10.45 on the 8th may. hopefully this will help shed light on why my beans are not sticking

beanieb · 01/05/2009 21:29

blackrock · 01/05/2009 22:55

Very sorry to read your news today. Take Care Ei.

PistachioLemon · 02/05/2009 08:53

Ei so sorry also to hear your news. As you say, hopefully the doctor will be able to find out why they aren't sticking. So sorry again. PL

ClaireDeLoon · 02/05/2009 11:45

Ei I'm so very sorry I hope the doctors can do something, take care.

Glasto sorry to see you back at the top and sorry your friends news has upset you so - I'd be the same I am sure DP's sister is ttc and I'm dreading the inevitable announcement.

Jaamy · 04/05/2009 00:04

Ei - am sending you huge hugs. Good to see that LWH is giving oyu a good once over and finally get you sorted out. We will crack this!

Sorry been a bit quiet - had to impose an MN on myself - too much work and feeling a bit sorry for myself. Was EDD yesterday. Had a bit of a cry on Friday cos I knew TEW was on the way. She was hilarious this monthe htough and made me wait 3 days for her. Just enough time to get my hopes up and waste a test or 2!

Sorry to see you at the top fo the list Claire and Glasto - chin up sweetie. How are things going with you and DH? Have you and he had any further investigations?

ello to everyone else...I'll try not to be so absent this month!

Claire Sorry to see you back at the top, how are you feeling in yourself now?
Blackrock How's the diet going?
Beanie Ow bad back not nice, how is it today?
PL Any symptoms to report?
Glasto It is so hard when close friends get pg (always seemingly without problems!) it is such a mix of emotions for you as well. My SIL is shelling babies like peas (2nd one due in about 6 wks) there will be 14 mths between them
EI You know how I feel about what's happened Good luck for Friday
Jaamy Definately an evil witch this month for you then, making you wait like that, she is so cruel

Sorry not to have posted for a little while, but been very fragile and here is not the place for me to moan, in fact been avoiding MN in general tbh. Doctor signed me off for another 2 weeks, just waiting for a scan date now.

Big wave to everyone else lurking

Morning Mollie, sorry to hear you're not feeling brilliant - hope you're ok?

No symptoms to report really - I'm pretty sure it was another really late OV for me and although there was lots of baby making going on I think we sort of burned ourselves out while BIL was away and then I Ov'd late anyway so probably didn't do it enough around the right time! Aaarrghhh! Anyhow, watch this space, I shall report symptoms as and when they come up.

Hello also to all the other ladies.

Mollie. I have lost 6lbs since i started in April, but have now come to a stand still. Back to the top and the temptation is to blow it on cheese and wine. I just need to prioritise us over work and make a doctors appointment. Hope you start to feel better soon.

I cannot get to grips with the ovulation sticks i bought...cheaply. Thinking of investing in something more reliable.

PistachioLemon · 04/05/2009 19:44

Sorry to see you at the top Blackrock.

I also didn't get on with the cheapie ov sticks. I'm temping and charting CM but if no success this month I may think about investing in something else.

blackrock · 05/05/2009 09:45

Sorry to sound down. A friend who had her DS1 same day as me is now pg with DC3! She was worried about her fertility as it didn't happen the first month of trying! It just felt like salt in an open wound! I have pulled myself together today. Agree PL more reliable sticks would be less frustrating. CM not really working for me, mind you a relative of mine said she and her husband were advised to BD every eight ours during this time to almost guarantee success!

PistachioLemon · 05/05/2009 14:31

Every eight hours! My God, surely you'd need super-strength viagra or something for that!

P.S. No need to apologise for sounding down [hug]

PistachioLemon · 05/05/2009 14:35

Oh, and I meant to ask, will you let me know if you come to any conclusions about more reliable OV indicators please?

My CM was confusing this month, although it did roughly coincide with temps, but I'd really like something more 'tangible' to hang my OV suspicions on... at the same time, I really don't know where to start and I also don't want to waste loads of money on something that doesn't work very well, iyswim.

beanieb · 05/05/2009 17:09

PistachioLemon I use a clearblue fertility monitor, though they are expensive! Has always given me a reading apart from one month when I recon I just didn't ovulate.

blackrock chin up, I have people pushing out babies all around me, including my best friend who said it would be lovely if I got pregnant now and was 'just behind her' 2 cycles ago but it's just not to be I guess.

mollie nice to hear from you and hope you're ok. Sorry to hear things have been a bit crap.

Am CD 22 now, period sue about Saturday. Am absolutely certain the clomid hasn't helped me get pregnant in anyway. Tum de dum.

ClaireDeLoon · 06/05/2009 09:11

Sorry to see you back at the top Jaamy and blackrock I'm very at how long many of us have been here.

I have mid cycle bleeding again. I will try to get to the docs this week, I googled it - it was one of the symptoms of low thyroid thingy now I'm all hopeful that is what has been making me infertile go figure!

ClaireDeLoon · 06/05/2009 12:38

I've just been to the docs and I'm booked in to see the nurse for swabs and the doc for an internal examination a week on Friday.

ClaireDeLoon · 06/05/2009 13:07

Oh and no sex between now and the appointment the doctor said which is a pain when I'm on CD11.

PistachioLemon · 06/05/2009 16:19

Claire, glad to hear you've got an appointment with the doc and nurse now but about the no sex bit. How frustrating. And what bad timing! Out of interest did they say why?

If you suspect you have a low functioning thyroid you should ask for it to be tested along with any other tests they are doing - it's just a simple blood test (apologies if you know this already!).

ClaireDeLoon · 06/05/2009 17:36

No sex because they don't want me to be bleeding when they do the swabs/exam and they are suspicious that it may be caused by sex so don't want to trigger more bleeding. I don't think it is caused by sex as we had sex after the bleeding had stopped last month and it was fine.

PistachioLemon · 06/05/2009 18:30

Oh, how annoying, especially as you don't think it's caused by sex. Well, I suppose if you do refrain then at least you'll be able to say for definite that it isn't the sex that's causing it IYSWIM. GOOD LUCK!

beanieb · 07/05/2009 10:30

Isn't it annoying how they stop you from having sex at the critical times! Hope you get some answers though.

I am completely convinced that the Clomid has done nothing for me and had a bit of a miserable hour lastnight where I cried and got all upset. Doesn't help that extended members of my family and friends are pushing out kids all over the place and posting the pictures all over facebook etc. I am of course happy for them but it also makes me stress about my situation.

Haven't had any PMT this month so wondering if the Clomid actually regulated my hormones or something. Period Due Saturday.

Am meeting up with pregnant best friend tonight which is hard as I have to fix this jolly smile on my face and just grin and bear it all. I want to meet her, I just wish it wasn't now and I hope she doesn't ask me anything about my cycle because I don't think I could bear it!

ClaireDeLoon · 07/05/2009 19:16

Beanie this is a longer cycle than normal for you isn't it? I'm sorry you're feeling so negative but you could well be pregnant already, I really hope so anyway.

PistachioLemon · 07/05/2009 20:04

Evening Beanie. Sorry I didn't reply earlier - I hope you're feeling a bit better this evening than last night. [hugs] This whole TTC malarky is crap sometimes isn't it.

I do have some good (albeit unrelated to TTC) news though - I passed some exams

ClaireDeLoon · 07/05/2009 20:41

Oooh PL well done!! What exams were they?
