OK girls, will go and get the list, but have lots of comfy sofa's and chairs, chocolate cake and virtual champagne.

Good luck and positive vibes to us all!

Congratulations, PL! All good news welcome here!

Beanie - hope your night is going ok with your pg BF. And that some of her baby dust rubs off on you. It sounds like your hormones are getting a bit of a shake up - could be a good sign.

Claire - Good to hear you are getting tests and examinations quickly. A week or so of abstinance is all in a good cause though not great timing. So it'll be a March baby, instead of a February one!

Blackrock - hope you are a bit cheerier now and looking forward to another month of gourmet sex?

Big waves to Mollie and Migola and your beans! And a and belated CONGRATULATIONS to Lou - I was AWOL when you got your BFP, hope things are going ok with you and our newest little TTC thread bean.

beanieb · 07/05/2009 21:28

ClaireDeLoon not really longer, I've been averaging about 25 - 26 days lately so won't be officially late until at least Saturday but don't feel like testing at all, I am going to wait until I am really late this month.

or until my period arrives!

My friend gave me a bag she bought on ebay from a woman who was getting rid of it as it reminded her of morning sickness, which she is convinced is a fertility aid! that was sweet. We went shopping in maternity departments which wasn't quite so sweet but at least I didn't get upset.

PistachioLemon congrats on the exams, what were they?

blackrock · 07/05/2009 22:17

Evening all. Am on the up...have lost another 6lbs this week, and have been eating, but not snacking, and cycling everywhere possible.

DH told me a woman at his work lost a load of weight and the next time he saw her she was PG, so here's hoping.

I should look ok in the dress I bought to wear this weekend!

Hope the bag works for you Beanie!
Thanks for the supportive murmur, it always feels friendly in here. Makes waiting for progress easier.

ClaireDeLoon · 07/05/2009 22:23

6lbs in one week!!! I'm in awe. Wow and well done!

beanieb · 08/05/2009 15:34

WOW 6lbs! congratulations! I am hoping it'll be warm enough for me to get back on my bike next week.

My fertility monitor tells me I am on CD 26 today (not 25 which is what it says here) so tomorrow I should get my period.

Was at the hospital (for other reasons) earlier and was so tempted to buy a test in the Boots there but stopped myself. I have had no PMT, no pregnancy symptoms.. nothing.

Stop me! I really just want to wait it out but if you were me when do you think would be sensible to test considering some people say clomid delays their period a bit?

ClaireDeLoon · 08/05/2009 16:05

In all honesty Beanie I would test in the morning if it were me.

beanieb · 08/05/2009 16:19

lol - I am just thinking why set myself up for a disappointing BFN. if I wait until at least sunday then that means I am officially a day over, if I wait until Monday it'll be 2!

ClaireDeLoon · 08/05/2009 16:45

Do you normally get spotting? Or other signs she's on her way? I'm very excited for you!

beanieb · 08/05/2009 17:01

lol
I really don't think I am pregnant!

I don't really get spotting but what usually happens is in the evening/night I get a little blood and then I go to bed and wake up in full flow so I always count that next day as CD1.

the only other things I get are:

Irritability about a week before, and usually at least one day when someone or something pisses me off so much I cry

my boobs get a bit tingly about 4 days before.

and I get kind of a throbbing in my fanjo! (TMI)

not had any of them.

Am absolutely setting myself up for disappointment though as I am fed up with all these months. We'll see. Maybe I will be able to perform an amazing feat of restraint and last until next week - or get my period first

Brtter to know I suppose.

PistachioLemon · 09/05/2009 10:32

Morning all!

Beanie sorry about the BFN , hopefully your friend (or her ebay bag) will be working its magic and either it was too early or next month will do the trick.

Blackrock Wow. 6lb, that's amazing. So what are you doing apart from cycling and not snacking? I want to have a go!

Oh and exams were very boring (but necessary) law ones. I'm still grinning whenever I think about it though

ClaireDeLoon · 09/05/2009 21:53

Beanie

beanieb · 10/05/2009 10:54

ah well. Period still not here though dammit! I think clomid does delay things but not sure by how much.

PistachioLemon · 10/05/2009 11:34

So frustrating!

SmilingEi · 10/05/2009 11:37

hi ladies
hope all is well
beanie ooo im getting cautiously excited for you you know what they say about clomid wonder drug and all
sorry to those who are back at the top
and fingers crossed to those still at the bottom
i was meant to go for my HSG friday but the hospital called late thursday afternoon to say that due to 'unforseen circumstances' it was cancelled and when i called to rearrange the appointment they said that i would need t wait until CD1 again so basically i am now in the mindset that we are obv not meant to hae another baby seeing as how things seem to always get put off or go wrong for us ahh well! at least we can give it a good go this cycle
xx ei xx

beanieb · 10/05/2009 12:12

Oh IE I hate the way they mess people about. It's so frustrating that they cancell and then make you wait for the next cycle. At least you can give it a good shot this month though. Good luck. I am kicker checking like crazy and researching Clomid on the internet! Some people say their period was 2 weeks late after clomid! Blimey!

mummy2olivia · 10/05/2009 13:27

I am an old tome TTCer but would it be ok if I joined you? Seems like a lot of you ladies are in the same boat as me as in things aren't going straightforward and it would be nice to post on a thread where people understand what you are going through....

Heres my history- I have been TTC for 2 years and 4 months although within that have had a break to get married and 6 months on the pill for endo symptoms and 1 missed miscarriage last May. So prob only had about 18 pops at the cherry in that time- that makes me feel so much better!!!

We are TTC naturally at present but being seen at CRM in Coventry after a lap and dye in December 08 showed endo on my left side and my tube and ovary stuck to my bowel . However, cons is confident we can conceive naturally (wanna put money on that doc??!!!) and have had a few months of throwing my toys out of my pram but now ready to give this thing a good push and hopefully get a BFP! DH has slightly slow swimmers too (cons says they are not a problem however I can see no harm in trying to improve his little bit low morphology and motility) but trying to get the vits down him is pretty tough- he just forgets!

Next appt is in June and I'm having acupuncture to hopefully help things along but also help with my pain and symptoms.

I recognise a few names here- hello!- hope you are all good. Could someone add me to the list please? Perhaps best to add me as TTC#2 6 months post lap?

xxx

beanieb · 10/05/2009 15:01

Hey there mummy2olivia I've seen you posting Welcome. There are a few of us here who have been trying for ages who'd be happy to support you!

I've considered Acupuncture but went for reflexology instead. Maybe I'll give it a go.

will add you to the list. What Cycle day are you on?

PistachioLemon · 10/05/2009 15:03

Sorry beanie, cross post!

How are you today?

beanieb · 10/05/2009 15:05

my boobs are hurting, so I recon my period will come. Just bought two more tests

am NOT going to test honest....

PistachioLemon · 10/05/2009 15:08

Ooooh. That's so tough... are you officially late now? Hmmm, what to do? Can you wait until Tuesday or Wednesday?

beanieb · 10/05/2009 15:15

Hopefully will wait until Tuesday and if no period I'll test then.

I haven't had a 28 day cycle for a while now, am usually around 25/26 days and sometimes as short as 23/24.

What about you are you testing soon? Is your cycle always quite long?

PistachioLemon · 10/05/2009 15:25

Gosh, so you really are late now. Hopefully it's the Clomid working and not it just delaying your period. Oh, I hope so. I'm keeping fingers, toes and everything crossed for you.

My cycle has pretty much been 28 or so days for, well, forever. Sometimes if I'm stressed it goes to 30 days BUT last month was 32 days and I really don't feel like AF is coming any time soon so I reckon this month will be another long one.

I blame it on the charting stressing me out around OV so that I'm ovulating later than usual! The longest I've ever gone is 35 days and that was right at the beginning of TTC when I think something may have happened but I never got a BFP so I don't know for certain.

Actually, I've never ever had a BFP - I think I'd fall off my chair if I got one this month!
