Anyone else take clomid & hcg trigger shot??

Looking for others who took clomid & hcg. I'm currently 4dpo & could really do with some sucess stories or anyone in a similar boat to me, to help me stay positive!

hi nicci im glad the bleeding has finally stopped whats going to happen now r u going to take that as ur period ? maybe u should call ur nurse to find out what it could have been.ive still got no period it is possible that im just late but iwhen i spoke to the nurse she said when ur on clomid it makes u reg as it determines the cycle? anyway im getting fed up with the ifs and maybes just want to know one way or the other. will do the test tomorrow but getting fed up with seeing a big fat negative it disheartens u.

Its a god sign the bleeding has stopped perhaps was bedding in bleed you never know. It seems to early for AF and if is AF then def to early are you seeking specalist.

Hi Hayzee, ive heard that clomid makes you regular too but also that it can lengthen LP as its used for people that have V short LP to try and help them.
I'm the same as u and getting very fed up with the ifs and buts and also with this damn headache that the clomid seems to be causing. Have you had any side effects.

Ps sure Af is on her way. Had sore bbs and true to form they have now gone, when that happens Af usually arrives within 24hrs. watch this space another month will be over. On to month 55 maybe a lucky number for me !!!! not likely.

God i'm so flat. the bleeding came back, so i guess i could say i'm cd 5 as all hpt's (yes i'm still testing!! nuts!!) are bfn. wish i knew why i've bled 9 dpo if clomids meant to help lengthen the LF. How are you 2 doing any news?

finally got my phone call returned from nurse, she said the tabs can make u period earlier, not change, or lengthen so ive got 2 wks from sat just gone to test if no period by 27 then ive got 2 go n have a blood test cos some women dont always show on a hpt till they are so many days late (im one of them). So back to the waiting game 4 me im gonna go by my original dates pre clomid n go from there according to them im due on sat so ill test then. Feel like im still in with a chance but we will have to see.

i know i complained and said that i wasnt given enough information regarding the clomid. They only tell u the basics, the way i took it was that i should have a period by the sat she told me 2 test but in fact that is the earliest they recommend u test due 2 the injection. I feel like absolute crap came down with the flu n i dont want to take any med just in case im preg so im suffering. Also i went to get pertrol last night n got hit by a driver who had no insurance, license or tax. My car is brand new only bought it from fords 6mths ago n so ive gt to foot the bill for the repairs so im not having a good wk. Hope ur both ok xx

Oh Hayzee sound like ur having a really trying week. Bout time for some good news indeed! After 4 days of light bleeding i stopped and am still obsessing as i now have ewcm and all sorts of twinges/ cames down in the uterus. Still testing! lol!! have u tested again? Any sign of af Ray? hope not x

no im not gonna keep testing cos it gets me down if i see a neg. The way my periods were pre clomid was that i would get my period approx 28-35 days after my bleed, but i rarely went the full 35 days. The latest i am due on is sat so im gonna test at the weekend, but i might not show if i am cos last time i didnt show untill 5 days after the 35 but unfortunately it ended in a miscarriage.
No havent heard from ray hope everything is ok.

have u started taking ur tabs again?

I haven't taken the clomid this cycle cause i just wasn't sure about the bleed being a period, i'm still in denial! tests are bfn. guess by the time i accept it hasn't worked it'll be time to start bd'ing again!! guess we'll just have to have a meds free month! & c what happens, i'm still charting so i'll be able to see if the clomid has kick started my cycle (PRAYING I OVULATE ON MY OWN) hope u get ur bfp this weekend.x

thanxs for the kind thoughts. We all cling 2 hope no matter how small it may b. Lets hope that it works this month n then u can stick ur finger up 2 the clomid lol.

i just want 2 scream.
i done a pregnacy test about anhour ago n i got a positive it wasnt faint but not exactly dark either if u no wot i mean. I done another one bout 10 mins later n it came up neg i did have a drink in between n instead of weeing on the stick i decided that i would pee in an old plastic cup. So not sure what to think, the 1st one came up in the 3 mins they allow but not sure if drink diluted urine or if cup contaiminated urine or if the 1st is a doddgy test. So now im going 2 buy some more n test in the morning when it should be stronger. i hate my body went from elation to numb to confusion. dont no wot 2 think

Oh my god hayzee i'm so pleased for u! they say u can get a false negative but u can't get a false positive!! guess it's worked for u girly!!! Were the tests the same brand? if so whichone? how many days post ovulation are u now?? i'd say the second one was probably nedative cause u hadn't waited long enough to allow the hcg to build back up in ur urine. Unbelievable girly!! it's fantastic news i can't wait to join u. Please keep in touch.x

well done a test n it says neg. Guess the test was dodgy. Im due 2day so i guess ill just have to wait n see what happens but if i havent had my period by wednesday/thursday then ill try again. Getting a bit fed up with it now. Dont think im preg just think that maybe all the meds have just messed up my cycle. I no last time i was nearly a wk late b4 it showed but after yesterday i have gave up all hope now. Anyway ill let u no what happens xx

Well i totally sympathise if it's any consolation, having got a positive at 9 dpo and now bfn's. i'm holding out hope for both of us Hayzee as i still don't believe my bleed was a period. i don't think ur test would have been faulty, are u using the same brand? which one is it? even the same brands can detect differing amounts of hcg u know! i'd say wait a few days like u plan and try again. What is ur cervical mucus like? sorry for personal question, but i've still got ewcm which i find weird, and my temps still haven't dropped below my coverline, in fact they're going back up! spk later i hope. x

the tests i used yesterday were clearblue n they were out of the same box. The 1 i used 2day was also a clearblue but from a different box. my cm is very thick n creamy gonna have 2 wear a panty liner if it carries on. well i need 2 no b4 wednesday as have dentist n going 2 b sedated (im a big fat wimp lol) n cant have it done if pregnancy is suspected. i am currently 21 days past ovulation but i never miss a period i no i get my period 28-35 days after last day of bleed (weird i no but thats how my body works its the pcos).

Where do u live? have u got a pound shop near u? or a savers? they do their own hpt's, u get 2 for £1 in the pound shop or one for 99p in savers, they detect 10 miu which is really really sensitive FR are the nxt sensitive, clearblue needs 25 miu. Hope u get the result b4 wed x

i have ordered 5 tests for 5.99 with 3 post n package n they r early tests 10 miu so going 2 wait till i recieve them which should b on monday. I am now officially late n with no sign of period thinking maybe tabs have made me late.
how r u doing?
i live in dagenham n there are pound shops near me but i dont think they are sensitive enough as when i was pregnant it didnt show.

just a quick update

i phoned nurse cos got another pos n neg n she has asked me 2 go in 4 a blood test at least i will no wots going on. When i get the results i will let u no. I think i aint its just the clearblue giving dodgy results as they have got a bad write up on the net. Speak 2 u later xx

got the results n im def not preggers im fine bout it as i didnt think i was, just goes to show that clearblue aint what they r cracked up 2 b. I even showed the nurse the test n even she said it was def pos so cant understand y. Cos its so long since my last period she has gave me a prescription for provera to induce my period. So ill soon be on round 2.

Oh Hayzee, i'm really sorry for you, it sucks doesn't it i really thought u'd have positive news. Why does it have to be so hard, it sucks. I'm still testing like a looney!! temp dropped almost to my coverline this morning & i'm still in denial. Ovulation sticks are all low. Bet i don't ovulate this month, and i'll be waiting months for a period (PCOS V.IRREGULAR). Hope u'll stick around for our nxt cycle, it's nice to have someone to talk it over with. Have a big fat glass of wine tonight!! thinking of u x

hi i no its good 2 have someone to talk to who is going through the same as you. We can both have our ups n downs n no exactly how the other one is feeling. I aint gonna start the provera just yet im gonna wait a few days 2 c if i start on my own i think my body has had enough interference from tabs n it aint done any good so far. Everyone is saying ur putting 2 much pressure on urself n try not 2 think bout it but its hard cos ur life seems to get taken over by tabs hospital appointments etc. I no ive got another 5 goes left but part of me does not want to carry on cos of the heartache involved but unless i try i will spend the rest of my life wondering. Thats enough of me moaning lol. Yep ill be on here same as usual as i need 2 c how my clomid buddy is doing. Hopefully u wont be waiting ages 4 ur period n we can get back on the tabs n hopefully fingers crossed get some better news next month. xx
