with my cp i didnt show on a test until was a week late then lost it about 5 days later. When i went for my scan 3 days into it they could not see anything so did bloods over 2 days and levels dropped was told i might of had cp but not totally sure.

Issy42 · 10/05/2009 15:12

Thanks ttcbby2. My temp was down this morning so going out of my mind. Did another test and still BFP. Totally confused. Feeling very deja-vu as I had pretty much the same temperature last time I tested positive but then got AF next day. It's about half way between yesterday's temp and my coverline and it is my usual sign that I'll have an even lower temp and AF next day. Just really, really hoping it isn't this time. So much for my enjoying each day and not worrying about the next!

Hayzee - I think cp is horrible term. It makes it sound as though your body imagined the pregnancy and somehow dimishes the anguish it causes. A cp is just an early mc and I think that's what it should be called.

should say diminishes

hi all
went to the hospital yesterday as was having a few pains and they gave me a scan and unfortunately the baby was ectopic they rushed me into theatre and had to remove my right tube with the baby so the end of the road for me. I have just got out of hospital and thought that id let you guys know.
issy good luck with your pregnancy i know what you have been through to get where you are so relax and take it easy thinking of you all.xx

Issy42 · 12/05/2009 19:36

Oh Hayzee, I'm so, so sorry, but really relieved that it was discovered early and wasn't more serious for your health. Huge ((hugs)). Give yourself time to recover from this. Is your left side still OK? Even if not there's still IVF, it doesn't have to be the end of the road, though appreciate it will feel like it right now.

My temp is back up so it's/they are clinging on. Thank-you for your good wishes.

ttcbby2 · 13/05/2009 00:32

Hayzee, I am so sorry!!! That is awful!! Please don't give up though. Do you have any children? Did they ever say what your fertility problem was? They said my eggs would never mature on their own.
Take it easy and get lots of rest!!!
Please keep us updated on yourself.

hayzee · 13/05/2009 08:18

well the right tube was removed and whenever i took clomid the eggs were always on the right side and they said its like being sterilised on that side but they did say that they looked at my left tube and that looks perfectly healthy ive got an appointment with gynie in 6 wks. If i can still have children im not sure yet but it seemed strange them saying my left tube is ok as i have pcos surely they would have seen the cysts on them? The scan was awful they showed me the tube bulging with the baby in it, really its a good job i went that morning or it could have been more serious. Yes i have a little boy from a previous relationship but feel gutted that my hubby may never have a hild of his own he has adopted my son and says that it does not matter but i wish i could give him that one thing. I never knew that there was an increased rick of ectopic when you take clomid or i would never have taken it. I am now worse off. Ive been told ivf costs around £6000 and we havent got that sort of money as hubby lost his job at the beginning of the year.

Issy42 · 13/05/2009 18:02

Hayzee - I've def read somewhere that the egg can somehow go from one ovary to the other tube, the body somehow compensates for the missing one. IVF price can vary with clinic, mine was not as much as £6000. Just trying to think:

Initial appointment £145
Pre-treatment scan £120
Drugs ~ £750
IVF - £2300
General anaesthetic - £220
Blast transfer - £350
Sperm - £600

So without sperm and blast total would be £3535. I got all my bloods done at my GP to save money as they were £25 each and GP did them free. And LondonLottie on the AC thread went to Norway and total cost including flights & accommodation was £4000. I know it's still a lot when your hubby's out of work, but about half what you thought. Also check out your PCT's rules as although most don't allow on NHS when you already have a child, they do vary and the fact that dh doesn't have a child may be enough to sway them.

Sending you more ((hugs)).

Hi ttcbby2, how are you doing?

I had my official BFP today. Still a long way to go, but fingers crossed Myfanwy and Idris make it to January. Morning sickness began last night and has lasted a lot of today too.

rasmrra · 26/05/2009 12:04

Hi All,

I am new to this website.
This is my cycle history
1st month : 50mg clomid no mature follicles
2nd 100mg clomid 18mm follicle, hcg trigger still no ovulation
3rd cycle 150mg clomid , no follicles at all
4th cycle,200mg clomid, one 18mm follicle at day16th. hcg trigger

and waiting to see the result this month..
My cycles are unusual I am worried.

My age is 24.

ttcbby2 · 27/05/2009 01:04

Hi Rasmrra,
Welcome!! Sorry you are having such a hard time getting pregnant. Do they know why you are not producing follies on your own? I can't believe after 150mg of Clomid you didn't have any follies. How are your side effects with 200mg? I have heard it makes you extremely cranky and crampy.
When did you get your trigger?

Issy, how are things with you? How is morning sickness? When can they do a u/s to see how many took?

Hayzee, how are you holding up?

I think about you all very often!!

Things are fine with me. I am trying to enjoy the pregnancy since it will probably be my last but I just get so anxious and want my due date here right now!!!

hayzee · 29/05/2009 13:12

hi
im fine thanks got an infection after the surgery so on antibioics. Im feeling ok now not sore anymore. I got my appointment for the 22nd june (my little boys birthday) so until then i wont know what the next step is.
ttcbby2 how far along are you now?
wonder what happened to nicci she doesnt come on here anymore
issy how are you sorry about the morning sickness i hate being sick.

ttcbby2 · 04/06/2009 01:02

Hayzee, how old is your son?
I am 6 months a few weeks. Due Sept 7.
I wonder about Nicci too.
Issy, we need an update from you!
Rasmrra, have you gotten your results yet?

Issy42 · 07/06/2009 19:42

Sorry I've been away for so long. The pregnancy tiredness means I just don't have as much time for mumsnet at the moment. Just want to go to bed when I get home and have to force myself to stay up to eat and for my progesterone, which I have at 8:30.

Hi Rasmrra - welcome to the thread.

Hayzee - Glad you're feeling better physically. I hope you get some hope back on 22nd. Thinking of you.

ttcbby2 - September really doesn't seem that far away, bet it does to you though . Must be reassured to be passed the 28-week milestone though.

My morning sickness hasn't developed passed nausea so I seem to be getting off lightly. Had a scan on Wednesday. One baby, strong heartbeat, 11mm. Very relieved. Next scan is on 1st July.

Take care all and Nicci if you're still reading.

hayzee · 23/06/2009 10:30

hi all
just thought that i would let you know the outcome of my hospital visit yesterday. Basically she said the chances of me getting pregnant on my own were vitually nil as it seems that i might only ovulate from the side the tube was taken from so she has put us on the list for ivf as it is our only hope but she said that she thinks that we might actually get 2 free goes rather than 1. It really spoiled my mood even though i knew she was going to say that it really upset me and as it was my little boys birthday i really had to try to keep myself upbeat as had loads of people in and out. Seems ironic the day i gave birth is also the day i find out i cant basically have kids what a day. Im not sure if im going to do the ivf as i not sure i can cope with it all after everything i dont think i can handle anymore disappointment but i have to go back in 6 weeks as i need to have 3 periods since the ectopic before they can refer me then they aim to see you within 18 weeks for the first ivf appointment. I wont be coming back on here as i think i would rather spend the rest of mylife never having children and getting on with my life rather than spend the rest of my life trying to have kids so i really wish the best of luck to those who are already pregnant and to those who are trying to get pregnant i also send you the best of luck.
heres to happy and healthy babies xxxxx

Hi everyone

I have been watching this thread for ages but never posted so I just thought it was time I said hi!

We have been trying for a baby for around 19 months now and I have just had my first hcg injection after 5 months of clomid 100mg. I have PCOS and problems with my tubes due to lots of abdominal operations.

Clomid has been fun for my DH, I turn into a psycho lady every month! Sending lots of baby dust to everyone x

HelenMeg · 02/11/2009 21:28
