Oops lost the thread for a while there, it's disappeared from my watched list. Just wanted to let you know that I'm having egg collection on Monday. Hope you're all well.

hayzee · 25/04/2009 23:10

issy wishing you the best of luck for monday i hope it all goes well for you. im currently 10 dpo and have been getting cramps on and off since yesterday surely its too early for my period? well if nothing happens i will do my test on thursday. Lets hope we all have some good news to post in the next few weeks

hayzee · 27/04/2009 11:38

hayzee · 27/04/2009 14:49

just a quick update i phoned the hospital and she said that the injection would have left my system by now so im def pregnant. I had to go and have a blood test and i will get the results tomorrow so not going to get my hopes up just incase it is on the off chance the injection.

Issy how did the egg collection go ive got my fingers crossed for you

nicci where are you

coco84 · 27/04/2009 15:12

hi everyone how r u all going. Hayzee thats great news - If so, I wish u best of luck.
Izzy best of luck and ttcbaby thank u for ur information.. hope u are doing well??

Well ... an update on myself... I had the hcg shot for the 1st time along withmy half tablet of clomid this cycly.. unfortunatly no luck. I got my period a few days ago.
I had high hopes this month beause there were 2 eggs.. plus the HCG shot I thought things would go ahead... oh well. There is another month to keep trying I guess.
Spoke with my specialist today.. he said that we started with one egg 1st cycle, 2nd cyce there were 2.. he said that it may be that my body needs to get used to clomid as it probably is as eggs are increasing before something happens. He did say that considering my age there shouldn't be a problem and that its just patience and by body getting used to this "newness..".
I hope he is right.

I will keep you all posted.. thank you for this comforting forum once again.. this is great. take care all and best wished xoxo

Hayzee - responded to your post about 10 mins ago and seems to have disappeared. Congratulations . Hcg always left my system after 10 days, so I'm sure your blood test will be fine, but keep us posted.

Sorry AF got you Coco.

I got 12 eggs and they expect 80% to fertilse and 60% of those to cleave, so should have 5 or 6 embies. Fingers crossed for that call tomorrow.

hayzee · 28/04/2009 17:49

hi the hospital said that my results were not back so they are going to let me know tomorrow, ive got a funny feeling that they have been lost as it does not usually take this long.

issy that is great news how did it go?

coco im sorry af arrived but dont give up hope.

hayzee · 29/04/2009 18:58

just my luck the machine at the hospital to do with the blood is broke so my results are still not back but i have done another test today and it is darker than yesterday so am def pregnant as it would get lighter and plus the injection would be def out of my system by now. We are so pleased now just wondering how many as there were 2 eggs but im not going to greedy 1 suits me just fine. i will check in on you all to see how you all are and to let you know how im getting on but im wishing you all the best of luck.xxx

Issy42 · 29/04/2009 20:20

That's brilliant news Hayzee - congratulations .

My figures above were wrong, should have been 80% to be mature, 60% of those to fertilise and 90% of those to cleave and form embryos. Fortunately for me even though 8 were mature and they all fertilised. I'm now in very scary wait territory as the clinic recommended taking them to blastocyst and putting back on Saturday instead of today, so don't yet know if any of the fertilised eggs cleaved. They're having a quick look on Thursday and then not again until Saturday. So scared they won't have made it, but 2 to 4 should. Will feel much happier when I get the call tomorrow.

ttcbby2 · 29/04/2009 23:52

Hayzee this is excellent news!!! CONGRATS.
Do you want twins? I secretly did! I was a little upset that it was only one but oh well. I think you get what you are supposed to have.

Issy, thats bizarre. I cannot imagine how you must feel right now.

CoCo hang in there!!!

hayzee · 30/04/2009 06:57

thankyou all for your congratulations
ttcbby2 yes i would love twins and would be over the moon if there are 2 but if there is only 1 i dont mind just being pregnant in its self is the best news i feel like ive won the lotto lol.
issy i dont really know anything about what you are going through as not had the treatment but even if the 2-4 have made it its better than none so keep your fingers crossed. I am hoping that the call brings you really good news and that the rest of the treatment goes really well.

Issy42 · 30/04/2009 18:10

i all - hope you are well. Has it sunk in yet Hayzee?

I had such a nerve-wracking morning waiting for the call to let me know if any of the eggs had become embies, but all 8 cleaved. 4 are doing really well, they are good or average and 6 to 8 cell as expected by the embryologist, 1 is going a little too fast and 3 a bit slow, but none are ruled out at this stage. Am so relieved, but have to keep my feet on the ground as there is still a chance that they won't make it until Saturday. Keep finding myself looking in the direction of the hospital and willing them to be OK.

Issy42 · 30/04/2009 18:12

Hi all - even

ttcbby2 · 01/05/2009 01:53

Issy, I cannot imagine how you must feel. I thought the time I had to wait from intercourse till the time I could test was forever. I bet you are feeling every second of every minute. I will send good baby vibes your way!!
If all make it then how many will you get inserted? (not sure of the proper word for that) Is it up to you or your dr? I bet that is one hard decision to make...

Oh, by the way we are having a girl this time. I am both happy and sad. I have loads and loads of boy clothes and toys. I guess I will just have to get loads and loads of girlie things.

I sure wish we knew how Nicci was.

Issy42 · 01/05/2009 13:52

Thanks ttcbby2. I was on a high yesterday with the relief that they had cleaved but today I'm getting anxious again about them making it to tomorrow. I'm only having one put back as the risk of twins is really high with blasts. There is also a higher risk of identical twins, so you could put two back and end up with triplets or even quads. As I'm doing this alone I really would prefer to have one at a time and triplets would bankrupt me, so just can't take that chance. Also the pregnancy success rates are similar whether you put one or two back.

Will be lovely to have a girl - think of how much easier the potty training will be . I'm sure you'll enjoy shopping for her once you start. Just don't get too much too soon as they can be wrong when they think it's a girl.

I'm concerned about Nicci too, but I guess she'll be back when she's ready.

Issy42 · 02/05/2009 17:24

Phew!! They made it, well two anyway and they're now inside my womb. Fingers crossed!

ttcbby2 · 02/05/2009 23:18

Oh how exciting!!!!! How long do you have to wait?

Issy42 · 02/05/2009 23:42

Thanks ttcbby2, I can test on 15th but might wait an extra day as one of my colleagues is going on maternity leave that day and could be hard to deal with as I'll be emotional either way.

Issy42 · 02/05/2009 23:53

Just read yesterday's post - had double transfer in the end as turns out risk of triplets is only 1% and I was misinformed about success rates. If I'd only had single transfer would have been 45%, but double is 60%. Still feels a long way off a BFP, so I'll just have to keep hoping .

Have you come to terms with having a girl yet?

Hayzee - Has it sunk in for you yet?

hayzee · 03/05/2009 08:12

hi everyone
issy im keeping my fingers crossed for you. Do you think that you can wait until the 15th i was not supposed to test until the 30th april but me being me i done a test on the 27th with a test that picks it up 6 days before your period.
i finally got my bloods back and they made me have another as the hcg was low but when i went up there she realised it was low due to me not even missing a period but she made me done another just to make sure it was increasing which it was. I went to the drs on friday to book in with the midwife so they will call me when the time comes but i have asked for an early scan. No it has not sunk in yet i dont think it will until i have my scan but all of my family are over the moon.
ttcbby2 wishing you and your daughter all the best how has your pregnancy been

Issy42 · 03/05/2009 14:28

Thanks Hayzee. Have a picture of them in my gallery that the clinic sent me. I've restricted access but you should be able to see it - although I think I spelt your name with a capital H. I'm going to try really hard not to test early because my OTD is the day a girl in my office goes on maternity leave, so think it would be easier to test when I get home from work that day than to sit through her presentation either upset or bursting to tell people I'm next .

Issy42 · 09/05/2009 09:32

Yesterday, I had some spotting, so I used a cheapie test this morning so that I could be prepared for a scan I'm having later today giving me bad news (the scan is for a research project at my clinic) and all I got was an evap line. Knowing I would agonise over it, I used my last CB dig and I had to do a double-take because I got a BFP . Thank heavens for piap tests! It's obviously very early days (only 12 dpo) and I've previously tested positive the day before I got AF and also mc'd at 4w6days, so I'm being very cautious about it, but am currently very happy.

hayzee · 09/05/2009 14:21

issy that is wonderful news im so pleased for you i had a chemical pregnancy at between 5-6 weeks but i knew that there was something wrong as was in a lot of pain all the time but this time ive had a few little cramps but fine otherwise. Try to stay positive. I got my letter from the midwife today so i can make my appointment to see her and my dr is also making arrangements for me to have an early scan hopefully next week. Im being classed as high risk due to the fertility treatment etc but ive got a really good feeling this time. xxx

Issy42 · 09/05/2009 18:05

Weird, MN seems to have eaten my post.

Thanks Hayzee. Great that you're feeling so positive about this pregnancy and that you're getting an early scan. Can't wait to get my 7-week scan. I thought a cp was an mc before 4 weeks, so you test +ve early but then mc and get AF when due. Have I got that wrong?

Sonographer couldn't see a sac yet at my scan today and my womb lining still only 8mm, but my ovaries are still very swollen and that is a pg sign, so I'm not going to worry too much. Have decided to just take this pg one day at a time and enjoy being pg each day without worrying about the next day.

ttcbby2 · 10/05/2009 00:40

Issy!! CONGRATS!!!! I am so excited for you.
