Anyone else take clomid & hcg trigger shot??

Looking for others who took clomid & hcg. I'm currently 4dpo & could really do with some sucess stories or anyone in a similar boat to me, to help me stay positive!

yeah lets hope so. The cramps have stopped now, although my boobs are still quite tender although this does happen occasionally before a period so will just have to wait and see. How are you all doing nicci any more symptoms yet?

just a quick update i couldnt wait naughty i know but i done a test and it came back - so looks like im out for this month. im 13 dpo. Wont be taking clomid next month as hubby is working away so no point wasting it. I will do another test on sat as by my period and not the hosp 14 days after ovualtion im due on well between 14-21. I know i might have done it too early and so it might not show up but cant help feeling that it hasnt worked. The hosp have told me not to do one till thursday so will test maybe then but getting fed up of seeing neg. Sorry i know i feeling sorry for myself but on a bit of a downer today.

Don't feel down Hayzee, i did one today too at 11dpo and it's BFN too. Everyones different though & u've already said urself u don't show up till ur a week late. Keep ur chin up! Nothing much to report my end. Other than i just finished a busy 24hr shift to be shouted at by my boss in the 24th hour! last thing i needed! X

24-hour shift Nicci, crikey! Amazed you could stay awake that long. Surely that's against H&S regs. Sorry your boss shouted at you.

thats all you need when u have done a 24hr shift is someone shouting at you. Hope you managed to get lots of sleep.

I can go to bed overnight just have to get up in a crisis or if anyones ill! Got AF cramps this afternoon and temp dropped slightly today too! Anything come of ur cramps yet Hayzee? hope not. Issy anything going on ur end?? I have been SO incredibly moody today, anyone that's come within 5 inches of me has had there head bitten off, i've never felt like this before, i feel like i'm going insane!

no i done another test this afternoon and it was - but had no af cramps, and my boobs are still tender but just have to wait and see what happens im on cd 28 but not sure if i have to go by period 14 days after jab or by the way my periods were b4 the clomid as ive never had a proper period since starting the clomid (1st go had to take provera and b4 that my period went from 8th nov - 13 jan).
issy thanks 4 the hug makes you feel good talking to people who actually understand people just say never mind theres always next month grrrrrr.
nicci hopefully thats a good sign if your never this moody b4 a period im like a bear with a sore head usually.

Just to update. My temp dropped drastically to coverline today 13 dpo, so guess i'm out, just gotta wait for rotten AF. Guess i'll be needing that hsg afterall

My temp dropped to coverline today too, so probably getting AF tomorrow. I wasn't expecting anything this month though. Trying to focus on my aim of getting fit before IVF instead. Have done two sessions of the couch to 5K programme so far (running from the back of my house to the front and back again), but got my new treadmill this morning, so can do it properly from now on.

well im sorry to hear that your bleeding nicci but think i might be joining you soon. I done another test this morning using first response and it was neg, been getting cramps pretty much all day cm very increased have to wear panty liner yuk, so just waiting for my period to arrive.

you got BFN Hayzee, but increased CM is a pg symptom, so really hope that's the reason AF staying away. Keeping those fingers tightly crossed.

Mine not arrived either, but temp still low and have that wanting to burst into tears for no reason feeling so sure she's on her way.

hi started bleeding his morning quite heavy. But i know this is going to sound really weird but im glad i got my period for the fact that at least i got it as you know b4 i had 2 take provera and after that i had to wait 2 months so at least it is all working. I wont be taking clomid this month as hubby is working away but will still come on here to see how you are all doing. xxx

Hayzee - you got AF in the not being pg sense, but really glad she arrived of her own accord for you and your body is working properly again IYSWIM.

Mine is dragging her heals, had some colour this morning but hasn't got any heavier, so presume will be here tomorrow. Need to do my third run (well mainly walking at this stage) of the week tonight so best get off home now - just on at work whilst waiting for the traffic to clear.

Sorry Hayzee bout AF but in the same way, glad ur not in limbo for the nxt 8 weeks waiting for it to arrive! Has it found u yet issy? I'm not on clomid/hcg this month either!! HSG booked for 24th Feb (CD 13) so no valentines bd'ing for dh!! here's hoping we can BD after that in time for ovulation (got a smear booked for 25th too! yuk) went out for dinner last night & the cinema, saw, he's not that into u! sweet film, even dh enjoyed! hope u had a lovely evening girlies. Out for family birthday meal today (my mums, got my middle brother down with us-he lives in london) Enjoy the rest of the weekend

My AF finally put in an appearance yesterday afternoon, so I have my AFC scan next week. Not quite sure when as the clinic rang to say they can't do the appointment they gave me and offered me 4 alternatives, but when I rang back there was no answer so left message saying I'd turn up at the first of the 4 (tomorrow 11:30) unless I hear otherwise. Will call first in morning to double check.

I wouldn't call myself fit - I have to do the first session of the second week later and am dreading having to run for two minutes at a time. I went to our new local goth night last night. Was really nice as no Valentine's theme whatsoever, but I was a bit naughty and stayed at my ex's afterwards. Life would be so much less complicated if you could choose who you fall in love with, but then I wouldn't choose him and he would choose me, so it still wouldn't work .

Hi Nicci. Thanks for asking. Have to wait 7 working days for results, but consultant seemed positive. I've signed up for a research project which means I'll have lots of extra scans and bloods (day 2-5, day 12-14, day 19-21, day of trigger, at egg collection, 7 days after embryo transfer) but nice to put something back, half of them done anyway and will also get scanned every 4 weeks from 12 weeks if get pg, which feels really reassuring. Longest gap would be from 7 week confirmation scan to 12 week one. The research is about blood flow to womb pre-pregnancy as indicator of poor nutrition from placenta to baby and I was one of those babies - mild case - was 5lb5oz @ 3 days late. Also means I'm not doing nothing in this long wait to start injecting in April. Unfortunately they haven't had a cancellation.

I've had the most bizarre period this month. Finished on cd 5 then nothing till last night when it was back again on wiping b4 i went to bed. So i put a tampon in, & this morning it was clear?! mild brown spotting at times today (cd8) normally only have 3 day AF. All sorts of sharp twinges felt too, & i've had a headache fo rthe last 4 days-my hormones must be up the wall!!!!
Issy i think it's gr8 ur involved in the trial, the more scans the better as far as i'm concerned. ur post was really interesting.

I am here. I read up on you all every few days! I am praying real hard you guys get your BFP soon.
This pregnancy is so much diff than my last! I am not sick nearly as much and I feel so much better. Thank God because I don't know how I would do it and chase around a 2 year old all day!

Nicci - sorry you're having a confusing AF. Are you temping? Just clutching at straws and not wanting to get your hopes up but wondering if you might be pg and having implantation bleeding not period. If there's any chance you should check before your HSG next week as you can't have it if you are. Good luck on Tuesday - be thinking of you.

Hi Issy, yeh HSG wasn't to bad thanks for asking-tubes are clear. Didn't feel too clever a few hours later though!! And got terrible trapped wind (in my shoulder-ouch). I must say i'm glad it's over. I'm cd 17 today 4 days since hsg and i'm still spotting! so no bedding yet and luckily still showing as low on CBFM. Consultant is giving me 3 more months on clomid, then onto IUI. Shocked really as in total i've had clomid on & off for over 12 months, he wants to scan me nxt cycle though which hasn't been the case for the last 3 months (makes me feel like the last 3 clomid cycles were a waste of time, & maybe they were just too understaffed to scan me then-don't know if u remember me saying my consultant got suspended, which put a halt to all treatment). Oh well, rambling now, least i get scanned nxt clomid cycle (though god knows when that'll be cause my periods only came on time thanks to clomid and i've not taken it this cycle! Hope i'm not waiting too long.
What news have u? It's been a week since anyone logged on!! X
