TTC for the cautious!!!

OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

dqueen - i was thinking about all that stuff (how terrified i would be at a BFP, but how gutted i would be if it wasnt - yet again, too) only natural.

ok, didn't get the chance to test as I had to finish reading a book for my reading group tonight, how rubbish an excuse is that but true, I just couldn't face going in there having not read it!!!!!!!! Will do it in the morning and let you know. Am excited and equally feeling sick about it.

right have retested and got a BFN so yingers its down to u hun
I am not too upset actually as there is still no sign of af and got all my pg symptoms.
Also with both ds and pip when i tested i got bfn then 2 weeks later bfp when they had been there all along
so we shall see maybe the test was picing up a tiny iota of hiding bubs...lol

ooooooh go test! please! i'll send you more tests so its no cost to you.....go on, please! hormones concentrate if you dont go to the abthroom for a few hours too, so no 'magical' thing happens over night!

I'm on cycle day 12, (wow i thought it was less than that! nearly 2ww!!!) got two days of line but not quite dark enough on my opks......so anyday now. abit disappointed it not RIGHT NOW!!!LOL but bd-ing just incase.

Thanks for the tests Bella, have done one already - still non the wiser but made me feel like I was doing something! . Found the instructions on the internet but don't think my line was dark enough for anything positive. Can anyone tell me, is it a good sign if you get a line, whatever the shade? Does it get darker the closer to ov you get? Or does it just not mean anything if the line isn't darker than the test line? Did you already ask all these questions Bella, don't think I was paying attention!!

exciting but scary - feel wont cope with anxiety if and when get BFP
also have to do bding - dh at present unattractively flu ridden
only cd7 thou and dont feel itll happen this mth anyhow

George, oh i thought i was on the same cycle as someone..not you then!!!
opks -well there are two types of people (IMO) some people ALWAYS get a line, whatever the day. or some are like me (and most people i think) and get a faint line faint line then a dark line and then nothing.......keep testing, following the instructions(!) and hopefully youre line will get darker. mind you, just to scare you, a friend once tested twice the same day, first time faint line -just hours later dark line.hmmmmmmm. i always wonder if i should do that! could be expensive tho!!!! dont forget, opks show the LH surge - this hormone surge cause the egg to be released, so opks show positive 24-48hrs BEFORE you O. still with me??! i hope O shows soon for you, you have LONG cycles, you must be very patient!!

just popped in to say Hi - hot to sure about all teh jargon - Have checked on fertility friend adn ov should have been last weekend but no signs - but have had some yesterday (cd18)I think so I thnk I am on for a 35 day cycle this time who knows

DQ - am on CD20. Now you know me and my hit / miss / or maybe OPKs, well I think I had ov last weekend and made sure we bd for england so fingers crossed. Am keeping everything crossed. Have promised that the earliest I am going to test is the 15th March so need to keep my sanity until then!

I have been avioding these threads as they do tend to upset me, but hey ho... I have been trying for 2yrs i have a beauty dd who is 4 in may and would love another bundle of joy..(even though for the first three months she had colic and drove me nuts..)

Q: I did accupunture when ttc no1 and fell pregnant it really did hurt hated it but wondering if i should go for it again?

I have been thinking about acupuncture, think I will give it a go if not successful in the next few months.
If it worked the first time I would go for it if I were you

Hi Sistermoon - sounds like you are in a similar place to me with your cycle. I'm still holding the record for the longest one though!
Hereshoping so glad to see you here, think we are all wanting, but dreading, that BFP for the same reasons as you. I'm hoping that we all get p/g at a similar time so we all still have each others support moving forwards too. I'm thinking that time moves slowly now - what will it be like for the first 12 weeks. Agony I imagine.
