OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

bella pmsl it is an obsession

munz aww bless hope the 6weeks flies by...could do with a glass of vino myself tho..lol

dramaqueen72 · 02/03/2005 23:22

evening ladies, this is my 'quiet' time when all are sleeping soudly in my house! and i buy things on line and chat to you all!!!
bella, of course we're obsessed, but thats okay, youre in good company!
I'm lucky my dh is taking a huge interest this time and even asked to see my opk today LOL bless him, its made him decide we women do hold the mysteries of the universe!! lots of early bd-ing getting underway, and i'm excited.
altho, can i admit a real fear here? i have no idea what i'm going to do when i get a BFP! i am seriously going to FREAK over the worry that comes with those first few weeks, anyone know what i mean. such a weird feeling to get half excited/half sick at the very thought of a bfp!

Bella23 · 03/03/2005 09:43

Morning Ladies!
DQ - totally understand on the fear thing!
I have decided to take it all one worry at a time - so worry at the moment is to get pregnant, then when I get that, there will be the worry that it will be another m/c and then as you probably know there will be different ones right up to the age of 18! Mind you my Mum says you never stop even after 18 so ye ha - a whole lifetime!!!!!!!!!! Hope that makes you feel better!
Seriously though I do think coming on here and sharing the fear does make it easier, really good to be able to have some reasurrance every now and again.
By the way what does pmsl mean?

dyzzidi · 03/03/2005 11:01

Good Morning

One worry i have had is that I am getting married in September and IF pregnant would i fit into my dress! I love it but it was very expensive and am dying to wear it. DP was so sweet and said I f I was PG i Could wear a sack and still look Beautiful.

It's so superficial to be concerned with a dress but planning this wedding is the only thing keeping me sane at the moment! And keeping me from totally baby obsessing.

Its amazing the lengths I will go to not to be mrs compulsive. ha ha

hereshoping · 03/03/2005 11:12

Bella23 · 03/03/2005 11:22

Dyzz - I would keep trying as it seems that if you have a plan of wanting to fit into your dress then life will probably grant you a BFP!
Always the way!
Well I am having lots of phantom pains and willing my body to be pregant !
Baby dust over here !!

george32 · 03/03/2005 12:36

Hi all.
Agree that Dizzi will defintely have a BFP heading her way if she wants to get in her dress in Sept. Maybe I should give that one a go!!

Getting really really fed up with waiting for ov now. Think it will be 12th march so have "booked" DP for the weekend!!!! Thought he would be really mardy about it and feel used but surprisingly is going along with it so far.

Babydust floating across to you all xxx

Nemo1977 · 03/03/2005 12:44

hi all
got a question
if u do a test and get a neg when control line shows BUT when u have left it 15mins and a pos line shows what does that mean???????? help as i am driving myself insane here

Nemo1977 · 03/03/2005 12:49

i know they say to disregard after 10mins..but it just didnt show then pos is there????????
do i just wait to retest again in the morning as it was first piddle of day (tmi im sorry)

george32 · 03/03/2005 12:50

Hi Mishi, hope you feeling OK today.

What sort of test are you doing? Ov or p/g?

Bella23 · 03/03/2005 12:51

I think Nemo that you need to read the test after 3 - 5 minutes. I think it is void after 15 minutes.
Does anyone agree?

Bella23 · 03/03/2005 12:53

Actually sorry i was talking about an OV test
Not sure when it comes to a Preg test.
I would do another one tomorrow morning

Nemo1977 · 03/03/2005 12:54

pg one it is the on call ones
will just wait till tomorrow

george32 · 03/03/2005 12:56

Oh no, oh no, don't wait. Quick go & buy one of the obvious ones like clear blue that you can do any time of day.

(Sorry, getting carried away with the thought of good news on our thread!!!)

Nemo1977 · 03/03/2005 13:00

i am half tempted to but i just dont think it will be..arghhh its cruel that they mess u around like that..lol
it wasnt even faint

yingers74 · 03/03/2005 13:01

i think you need to do another one mishi. I am testing tomorrow too! Good luck.

Nemo1977 · 03/03/2005 13:03

and you yingers
i think the worst bit is that i dont even know when af should be due...could be this weekend or next
arghhh why is it sooo complicated

yingers74 · 03/03/2005 13:03

they do say it is practically impossible to get a false positive, not sure whether with time a negative preg test would turn positive so go get another one!

Nemo1977 · 03/03/2005 13:05

i know about the false positive thing but thats y i asked cos of being out of the 'time limit' but will find out soon
lol

yingers74 · 03/03/2005 13:07

LOL, yes am excited about testing tomorrow, have waited a week which for me is a lifetime, I am incredibly surprised I have not succumbed yet! Then again, it is only up the stairs.........
