OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

Bella23 · 02/03/2005 15:40

Welcome Dyzzidi and Decaf.
Decaf, stay with us, you don't need to be actively ttc, its just a good place to share your thoughts after m/c.
Dyzzidi - yes lets hope we can spread some luck far and wide!
Rom - ok sorry to keep harping on this now but the reason I am asking is if I want to start using persona next month do I base it on the length of my cycle from the past 2 AFs? And if they are both different should I wait for one more AF before I start using it?? Advice?

george32 · 02/03/2005 16:03

Hello to all. Nice to see the new March thread has encouraged other cautious TTCers to join us - I'm sure everyone can sense the luck that it is going to bring!!.
Decaf, so glad to see you here.

My cycle has been messed up as i had to have 2 D&C's as the did not do the first one properley and i got infected (EUch). My cyle was every 30 days now can be from 27 to 35 and very confusing???

Is there anything you can do to get back on track? Sorry i am obviously not that naive that i think you can just reset things i just mean any kind of herbal remedies etc.

munnzieb · 02/03/2005 16:36

dyz - apparently angus catus works (well it's ment to balance hormones and also help with PMT), it also increases the hormone beginning with Prog (can't spell the rest) I did take it for a while and found it brought OV on, but then again as well, it seemed to definatly kick my hormones up the bum as the month after I was definatly OV where as I hadn't been sure on prev months.

(sorry hope u don't mind me butting in over on this thread as well!)

dyzzidi · 02/03/2005 16:39

Thanks I will try to get some of that this weekend. I would like to have some normality back I suffer from Endo so periods are really painful for me and I like to plan things around them. We went away for the weekend a few weeks ago i got caught short and had to stay in bed for hours. So fed up with it!!!

Looking forward to 9 free months!!

Nemo1977 · 02/03/2005 16:41

hi all
dyz i am in the same situation with the now irregular af following D&C so can sympathise

I again tested this morning as i have really sore boobs etc but still bfn..i am asuming i am not due till next weekend sigh and i dont think i will be pg as have been too stressed...just wish i wasnt so damn trigger happy with these tests
take care

Nemo1977 · 02/03/2005 16:41

its mishi byt the wya...changed name to stop my posts being read

dyzzidi · 02/03/2005 16:45

Nemo

I refuse to have tests in the house as I would be testing every week .

Whenever i feel 'late' a make myself wait a week and normally my AF arrives before the end of that week. Preciously I could have bought shares in Clearblue.

I never thought I would be one of those people who thought about this stuff everyday but found i am worse than that and manage to think about it every couple of hours.

Are you all as conscious or ttc everyday as me or am i just going mad!

george32 · 02/03/2005 16:47

Thanks for all the baby dust Munnzieb . I so hope both threads are lucky this month.

Must have been dreadful to have to go through the op twice Dyzzi. How awful for you and to suffer every month as well. Must be pretty horrid.
Going to have a look on-line for some of the angus cacus now. Never heard of it before, but always up for trying something new, esp if it reminds my body to ov again!!
xx

Nemo1977 · 02/03/2005 16:48

dyz not mad at all just on the right thread.. it is all i can think about a lot of the time particualrly on this blasted 2-3 week wait..not knowing when to expect af is making it worse..lol

dramaqueen72 · 02/03/2005 16:54

blimey !!! busy thread!
bella, really really depends on your luck.,cycles can stay messed up, go abckt o normal, mess about abit..etc etc! mine went straight back to noraml alast time, and were bang on time this time too. -I am 27-29days, usually 28. cant help with persona tho. got a line but not quite a perfect dark one this morning on my opks so happy bunny, obviously dark dark line will be soon, then i should O within 48hrs of that and BINGO. hmm, if it could just be that simple eh?!
mishi/nemo (!) wait! it could just be too early to test still. what tests are you using,? i have somewhere a list of which tests are most sensitive...must dig it out for us.
hope everyones okay..

george32 · 02/03/2005 16:54

Hi Nemo - that seems weird!! I'm the same with tests. Just done a p/g one, no idea why - no surprises on the result.

Bella23 · 02/03/2005 16:57

Will have a look at the Angus Cactus myself as agree the waiting is hard never mind adding on almost an extra week of waiting due to cycles getting messed up after D&C.
Dyzz - lord 2 ERPCs, terrible, poor you!
Nemo - glad to have you with us - with those dark glasses and a false wig I hardly recognised you!!

Nemo1977 · 02/03/2005 16:59

pmsl u can still call me mishi its just posting under mishi well..u all know..pmsl

Bella23 · 02/03/2005 17:04

Thanks DQ - was just wondering where you were today. How did the fruit cake turn out?
George - step away from those tests with your hands in the air !!

wendy11 · 02/03/2005 17:07

Hello
Hope everyone is in good heart today and thinking lots of positive thoughts. We will do it!
Have been outside all day today with work and absolutley freezing, so off to warm up and get tea ready. Catch up later.

dyzzidi · 02/03/2005 17:15

Just finishing work so I thought I would wish you all good luck with babydancing tonight My DP is away working so I hope babydust keeps for a few days

Good luck all!!!!!!!!

romilly · 02/03/2005 18:57

ooh you have been busy this afternoon you lot! welcome to the thread dyz - and we will hold some babydust in store for you when dh gets back . i think everyone on this thread (judging from the amount we all post) thinks about ttc'ing just as much as you do, so glad you've joined the club.

bella - sorry i couldnt answer your question sooner, been hectic couple of days for me. i dont see any reason not to start your persona straight away on CD1 of your next cycle. surely you want it to get the hang of when you OV as soon as possible. why were you thinking of waiting?? it doesnt matter if your AF is different after m/c - just start using it, it will adjust itself over the months anyway. hth

munnzie - its great to see you in our thread - we like you hanging out with us too

yingers74 · 02/03/2005 20:37

hi mishi, like your new name.

welcome to all the newbies! I hope that this new thread will bring us all loads of luck and winter babies!

I too am fighting the urge to test, my hand is always reaching out towards the cabinet but I manage to move away just in time!

dyz - we are all as obsessed with ttcing as you, much to the annoyance of my husband!

Bella23 · 02/03/2005 21:47

Rom - actually think i need to actually read the instructions, really bad habit of mine! I guess i was thinking it would ask me in advance how long my cycle was - durh!!
Just been to see The Woodsman (with Kevin Bacon) which was really good. I can't belive though that i managed to think of ttc in it though. This therapist character said that if you always find yourself going round in circles that it means you are alwasy going back to the same place and therefore will find things you missed the time before - kind of related it to the hamster wheel of TTC.
Ok - shoot me now I have obviously lost it!

munnzieb · 02/03/2005 22:17

well i've ben in next door,a nd had a few glasses of wine! hiccupp! and er, well Dh hasn't rung so am a touch upset, but hey, only 6 weeks and some serious BD is getting done in my house! lol
