OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

quick question - what happens to CF after ovulation. Does it reduce, change consistency (sorry!) or be virtually gone? (or is it different for everyone).

yellowbear · 28/03/2005 19:42

Af arrived today - although I knew it would I feel really down. I know i need to pick myself up & try again next month but finding it hard to think like that at the moment!

Went to hospital last week for some tests after having 2 m/c's, it was really strange. They usually tell you to stop trying while they do the tests but after they checked my age they told me I can keep trying - talk about making me feel old !!!

hereshoping · 28/03/2005 21:13

Hi all - sorry yellowbear about af - theres lots of us here dissapointed - so lets hope april is our month
funnily while pg with last m/c was reading a 'your stars for 2005 ' which said i would get pg in April .... god knows what Ill be like if I dont
my health kick started today - currently sitting here starving and trying to resist the biscuit/ cup of tea habit Ive fallen into
LOL to all

Cadmum · 28/03/2005 21:40

hereshoping: Health kick?! Does that mean no tea and biscuits? How would I survive the day? How are you managing?
Yellowbear, sorry about af and the odd hospital visit. You are only as old as you feel; don't let them get you down! Two of my closest friends had babies in their 40s. You are not old. Looks like I will be joining you shortly with af... Were there any grads this month?

dramaqueen72 · 29/03/2005 00:31

sorry af showed for you yellowbear its so depressing when she does.....
cadmum, sorry about the bfn, how bloody awful to wait for ages and not get a +. I'm really sorry, hope af shows PDQ to kick start you onto a new cycle....
nemo glad about the smiley face, we really are v close in cycles now you know! I'm expecting mine end of week.
heres - health kick? no tea? no biscuits? eek!! the very thought sends me scurring for the kettle! good luck with it tho.
bella where are yoooooooooooooou. all bding and no chat.....
dizz- cm is very personal stuff, and so varies one person to the next but it does reduce dramatically straight after O, and should change to thick and 'unfriendly' until af arrives...hth. keep mental notes on yours this cycle and use that to compare next time.
no cadmum, if youre not pg then i dont think we had ANY grads this month. several of us are working on it for next month tho! my ds was a LOVELY jan baby, so its a good month for you to have one! hows your Mum?
anyone heard from Girl lately? i miss you girl if youre out there!
dh and i have been bding recently, way too early for O. but i feel we both are determined not to miss any days around now. we looked back at my chart for last month and saw we missed two crucial days around O and are NOT doing that again!!!

Bella23 · 29/03/2005 09:23

Morning all ladies.........
Well have now entered the 2 week wait.....may it go quickly!!
Yesterday DH and I celebrated not having to do any bding......it has come to that. Was so nice to get tired, go to bed late and not think oh lord have to get in the mood!!
Have also started health kick, nothing drastic, just going to do that 2 bowls of cereal a day diet for a couple of weeks and walking an hour a day to try and shift some of these unwanted pounds.
No grads this month, I was so sure we would, as with all this spring weather all seemed so on the cards!
Garden bloke starting this week so am excited about that, will be nice to see our hovel turned into something pretty.
Good luck all bders this month, DQ glad you are getting the practice in nice and early!
Yellowbear, when AF arrives it hits very hard and you enter a slump but just try and focus on the fact that after a week of the old witch then you will be entering the hope stage where you are fertile again. I know its hard though but we've all been there so totally understand.
Anyway better do some work.....love to you all

romilly · 29/03/2005 11:38

hi everyone - hope you all enjoyed easter.

yellowbear - sorry to hear AF turned up for you too. yikes, it scares me a bit that even with all this technology and obsessing we are not getting at least one grad. a month.

ok, no more talking about chocolate this week. healthy bodies for us all. we dont want to all end up looking preggers before we are .

catch up later, work to do...

Bella23 · 29/03/2005 12:48

Really pissed off !!!
Our gardener was supposed to be starting today and he just didn't turn up so DH gave him a call. He has basically decided that he can't do the job and has decided to tell us now !!!!!!!!!!
Long story of him not sure how is business is going and worried about contracters etc but basically didn't have the balls to phone us up and tell us this over the 3 weeks we have been waiting for him to start!! We've had 2 meetings with him to discuss things and he's never once said he couldn't do it!
Sorry just needed a rant as was really excited about the prospect of our new garden and now it is back to the drawing board!

dramaqueen72 · 29/03/2005 13:08

its a gardener thing Bella, we had a guy who did about two days and then never showed.when we rang him he also bottled out...........I know our garden is a mess but surely!!! I'm sorry, hope you find a ggreenfingered soul asap.
Rom, we are all waiting to grad the same month you see!!!! THIS MONTH!!

romilly · 29/03/2005 13:09

what a bummer! why not have a holiday instead !!

romilly · 29/03/2005 13:11

dqueen - ok, hope you're right

Bella23 · 29/03/2005 13:21

Thanks guys, no its al trivial in the big scheme of things but you can't help but get annoyed!
DQ - maybe your garden and mine are similar and they make grown men want to run for the hills!!
By the law of statistics surely we must be due for a graduate this month, time for some dust I think.....

Hi everyone.

Bella, I'm so sorry about your garden. I would be furious if I was you. You now have to go through the whole problem of finding another one and it taking longer. Grrr . Hope you find it cheaper & better and end up feeling glad the other guy backed out.

CD 16 for me and no sign of O yet. Doing my smileys alongside Persona but still no joy so getting a bit lax on the whole BDing front! To be fair, I didn't see any possible signs of O til about day 20 last month so a few days to go yet. DQ, you will catch me up soon!!
I am so hoping that it is this month for all of us.

Bought myself a car over the weekend as I'm opting out of my company car scheme & taking the cash option instead. Don't really know anything about cars or buying them and DP kept asking me what was most important to me. Ended up picking one because it was silver, shiny and has a CD player . DP tried to look like he knew something by looking under the bonnet so I can blame him if it turns out to be a dog of a car!!

Cadmum · 29/03/2005 14:29

Still no af but I doubt if I will provide you with a graduate this month. Just wish that af would arrive now.
My mum was discharged and is now recovering at home. She has promised to take it easy and get lots of rest! Wish I believed her!

Bella23 · 29/03/2005 15:27

Cadmum - glad to hear you Mum is on the mend. Looks like you will have to nag her a little in order to make sure she takes things easy for a while.
George - new car, fab, very jealous! I so desperately want a new one but absolutely no hope of one on the horizon! Totally with you on choosing it by colour, its not girlie at all. Men just say it to be funny but at the end of the day they choose on colour as well, just don't admit it !! Am laughing at your DH looking under the bonnet without really having much of a clue! My DH gets quite sensitive about such things and so I have to try to hold back from actually laughing out loud sometimes, can get away with a snigger usually though!

romilly · 29/03/2005 17:17

LOL george - choosing a car by colour is actually pretty smart as it goes, according to insurance company statistics more red cars than any other colour wind up in accidents. read that somewhere once.

Cadmum · 29/03/2005 20:07

How bored and desperate am I?!?! Just looked up potential due date of much wanted potential baby and I would be due on January 3 if af arrives today... What am I going to do with myself if this goes on for many more months?!? Is anyone else ever this crazy?

george32 · 29/03/2005 20:14

I am, all the time, Cadmum......it's Dec 19th for me!!

Don't think we are alone in this either. Come on, own up, who else knows when they would be due if they get a BFP this month???

yellowbear · 29/03/2005 21:11

I have also done that, but was too embarrassed to tell - at least now I know I'm not alone.

Thanks for all the messages re af, I feel alot better today & will just look forward to all the bding. Usually ov on day 8 & only have a23 day cycle - this has been the same since m/c in Nov, so not long to go.

Great news that your mum is home CAdmum.

Hi to everyone else.

Bella23 · 29/03/2005 21:41

Yep me as well! I think I visit the on-line due date calculater at least 3 times a week! I think I try and kid myself each time that I have forgotten what the date was....yeh right as if they are not etched on the brain!!!
Its just another thing to drive myself nuts with....arh well no harm in wanting some good luck is there!
DQ and Nemo - what are you up to?

Bella23 · 29/03/2005 21:43

Cadmum - hope AF arrives soon, awful wait, she must be along soon surely

Nemo1977 · 29/03/2005 21:45

lol another edd checker here and if i catch this month will be due 23rd dec

Nemo1977 · 29/03/2005 21:46

sorry bella..been busy since my smiley..lol DH is getting fed up of me now though

Cadmum · 30/03/2005 03:20

Thank you all SO much for confirming that if I am going crazy at least I am not headed there alone. Get ready for more pathetic: I am actually sitting here thinking and calculating just how (im)possible it is that I ovulated on my last day here with DH and that I just tested too early on Sunday. HELP me to NOT test again until there is no sign of AF for at least another week.

munz · 30/03/2005 08:55

OMG u girls can talk! lol just a quick stop in, DH is back in 3 weeks - so I can get back on track with our BD plans! lol.. will be a bit more active on here then!

rom - ah when we started TTC I decided I was gonna get fat anyhow when I was PG (didn't plan on it taking so long) so decided to eat as much of what eva I wanted and now - none of my clothes fit and i'm like a fat heffa! (well not quite but I do have to go shopping now, althou I've had most of my clothes since b4 I got married so about 3 years so I guess i'm due a new wardrobe! lol.

Cadmum - u r not alone hon with the early testing, althou I did find some tests on ebay which are ultra sensitive and u can test 7-10 DPO apparently they show a BFP as i've not had one yet I don't know how relliable they are.
