OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

cadmum - feel so bad moaning about AF coming when i think what you and your poor mother have been through this past week. best of luck and barrel loads of bambini dust to you for your testing.

thankyou girls for your hugs and kind words though, it does help. esp. as you have to act normal in RL to everyone else when you're feeling AF blues.

yes bella and mizz, i am going to have a BIG glass of nice dry white tonight (or two...or three )

george - i guess that means i can go to the gym, ugh..... not sure that is such a consolation?!?

dqueen - ok, april is going to be our cycle, i'm right behind you... christmas babies would be cute

hope you got thru the wallpaper shopping wendy

good luck to nemo and everyone else hunting those smileys

bella - isnt that bloody typical that you've got MIL on your persona w/e!

who else is a chocoholic on this thread? easter mmmmmm

dramaqueen72 · 24/03/2005 19:34

bella, pmsl at silent bding.its sooo difficult! maybe you could 'pop out'........to your nearest layby!!!!! actually if your mil knew you were working on the grandchild she would prob be happy!!! LOL
Rom, we shall be blissfully exempt from christmas pressure on this thread, we'll all be huge and putting our feet up sending frantic hubbies scurrying to shops for us. sound V good! (just think dh's will have to chose their own mothers present for the first timje since they got married!!!!)
and i'm not A chocoholic, I'm THE chocoholic!!! green and blacks milk choc egg purlease! i sit here and tell children not to eat lots of choc..and then i do!!! ah oooooops....
got dh to pay for smileyface opks. told him it was his turn to buy them this month. and missed out the fact when i got them they were £5 ones and now they're NOT!
eeek, you mentioned the gym again! (hands over ears.......)and you timed it fabulously as i was just sniffing the aroma of pecan and dark choc chunk shortbread from the oven!!!!!!

Cadmum · 24/03/2005 19:46

no tyime to post properly as I am off to the hospital (again!) to take mum some soup. She has a little colour in her cheeks this morning and actually ate some Rice Krispies
Romily: You are a sweetheart to even think of me at all! AF is not a welcome visitor and I know that you must be feeling down. I am sorry...
Still no af for me but as I said I don't even know when/if I oved this month. Way too much stress!

yellowbear · 24/03/2005 20:17

Oh Romilly I am really sorry about af .

I did a test yesterday & got a bfn, it was only 11 days post ov but felt I needed to do one has I had appt at miscarriage clinic today & I needed to know before I went. I don't feel pg & I don't think I will do a another test unless af is late (if I can resist!). This is hard for me to know at the moment though as since m/c i have been on a 24/25 day cyle, but it may have gone back to a normal 28/30 day one.

Girl I sit with at work told me she was pg yesterday .I am pleaseed for her but also jealous - do other people have these feelings or am I just being silly?

Hope docs find out why your mom is feeling so bad cadmum.

Sorry only had time to quickly look through the thread as ds is ill and being very cuddly! Sounds better than clingy!

hereshoping · 24/03/2005 20:23

wendy11 · 24/03/2005 21:55

Romilly, Hereshoping and Bonkerz really sorry for af
Enjoy a glass or two of vino and onwards and upwards for the next cycle. Really hope this is the one for you.

Bonkerz - have a great holiday.

Bella - lol at MIL's visit. Give here a little drink or two and she will sleep like a log -hopefully!!

Yellowbear - you may just have tested too early. Hope that is the case and you get a different result next week.

Well wallpaper is bought after much driving around, walking around and my temper starting to get a bit short. I have definitley been a goofer today - go here for this and go there for that. Ah I love her really. Thank goodness my house is just painted walls - doesn't take as long to redecorate.

Going to bed early - don't know if it was the wallpaper shopping or all the bding this week but absolutley exhausted. Night everyone

Cadmum · 25/03/2005 08:08

Sorry to hear about af Bonkerz and hereshoping. I am waiting to start myself... I fly home tomorrow but it is a long day with a ferry ride first thing and then a 2 1/2 hour lay-over in Calgary after flying out of Vancouver. The Ferry leaves at 7 am and my flight lands in Ottawa 14 hours after my journey begins so I was thinking that it would be a great day for a visit from af. I shall have to go prepared! Will test on Saturday (with DH for the first time as I usually do it on a whim and then regret not having done it with him iyswim.)
My mum continues to look better and better so they may let her fly the coop on Monday. Hope my dad can manage to get her to take things slowly; she is a typical nurse/super woman type who can't seem to sit still!
I can't wait to see my family again. I miss them so much!
Will likely have to catch up on Saturday. Until then...

Bella23 · 25/03/2005 11:17

Sorry to hear about AF ladies, sounds like cycles are getting back to normal though. Had huge row with DH last night and then had to bite my lip and kind of apologise just in order to get some bding in.....lord this baby making lark is no picnic !!
Ladies, make sure you all take advantage of AF and have loads of vino over Easter.
Gotta dash, will check in later........

Bella23 · 25/03/2005 11:18

Cadmum - glad to hear your mum is on the road to good health and hope you have a great time with your family aftre your long trip...

romilly · 25/03/2005 12:04

sorry hereshoping and bonkerz also got the dreaded AF - now you can join dqueen and i in the christmas baby club. god, i hope someone gets a BFP soon, we do need another graduate - good luck yellowbear and cadmum, rooting for you girls.

Sorry your AFs arrived Rom, Hereshoping & Bonkerz.
Wishing the other testers Cadmum & Y Bear good luck and Xmas babies to everyone else!

Too much wine & chocolate already (eaten my egg from my mum, & the egg I gave to DP so far!) and we are only on Saturday! Kids took theirs home, so at least I won't eat those this year!!
If I do eventually manage to have a baby, it will definitely be made of chocolate!!

Off to a hotel for a birthday party today so glad the sun is shining.
Have a good Easter everyone.
Sending some Easter babydust for you..........

romilly · 26/03/2005 15:40

LOL george at chocolate baby! stilll at least you are running off those choccie calories. as for me, i've been all talk no action as far as the gym is concerned . sorry to mention the gym again dqueen, but you dont need to worry as you havent been stuffing yourself with wine and chocolate like i have since AF arrived! no eggs yet, aren't you good?

still in the midst of decorating which is such bloody hard work it does take your mind off any obsessing.

hope you get your smiley opk soon nemo.
bella - did you manage a stealthy bit of bding ?!

cadmum - imagine your kids and d/h are thrilled to see you. hope your mother is still on the up. have you tested yet? and yellowbear.... how about you????

Bella23 · 26/03/2005 16:56

Afternoon ladies, just got back from Greenwich doing the touristy bit which was nice.
Yep Rom, managed to bd every night since last Sunday, have told DH he needs to keep it up (sorry no pun intended) until this Sunday. Have decided if there is no baby this month it certainly isn't through lack of trying!!! Going off it a bit to be honest, will be glad after Sunday when we don't have to do it any more for a while!!!
I think I hold the record of putting a stone on since I found out i was pregnant end of Nov last year....combination of happy eating before m/c and comfort eating afterwards! no clothes fit me and I am avoiding mirrors in shops at the moment as too depressing so can relate to all the chocolate eating out there! Am also very big mouth, no action on the excercise front but i think this is because I keep secretly hoping that I will get pregnant soon and can enjoy being fat for once, ie put off the diet for 9 months!!
Anyway ladies, hope you are enjoying the bunnies etc ...speak later xxxxx

wendy11 · 26/03/2005 18:48

Good evening everyone,

DQ - I am sure you will be glad to have ds home again. Is this the first time he has been away without you?

Rom - don't mention decorating. My mum has my head turned. If she comes up with any mroe bright ideas I will scream. Some of the things she wants to do are fine in a newish house but her house is about 100 years old and not a straight wall or square room in sight. Oh well will have to take her away for a few days and hope she forgets when she gets home.

Cadmum - hope you have arrived home safely and that you mum is improving.

Bella - can relate to the won't look in shop windows. I am afraid to weight myself but know that my clothes are tight. Bit like you - hoping I get pg again and won't have to worry about getting bigger.

To everyone hope you have a wonderful Easter and enjoy yourself whatever you are at.

dramaqueen72 · 26/03/2005 21:52

OMG! that is so me right now......have been shopping for jeans and HORRIFIED - ot the point of almost tears- by shape of me in them all in those darn changing room mirrors....everything def alittle snug but i'm in denial right now. and with you all on the 'will be pg soon and it wont matter' front! I feel AWFUL at how much weight i must of snuck on.....not enough so I actually different to outside world but you know, clothes looking abit too tight etc etc....ugh. may those babies hurry all and give us excellent reasons to deny it longer........
about to start easter egg eating. which is pretty funny following that last comment but you know, the eggs have all arrived and are burning hole in my cupboard as we speak........ any how, need much engery as about to start my bding week!!!!
hope alls well, wish we could of got together for a glass of wine (got one of those here next to me too!) instead of all doing it seperately.

dramaqueen72 · 26/03/2005 21:55

sorry wendy, missed your post there! no, ds has been away before but you know, to the isle of wight kinda thing, NOT usa!!!! I'm 100% sure he will be stroppy moody teen self when home, but its a nice feeling to have missed him and re-afirmed how much i do love him........aw!

hereshoping · 27/03/2005 19:07

know what you mean dq - ive been trying to ignore that 1//2 stone that has crept on since first pg that mced last summer.havent got the willpower to shift it - thinking i may be pg soon. im v chipper at present - isnt it amzing how you feel quite good at start of cycle even if you are dissapointed not to be pg!

Bella23 · 28/03/2005 10:03

Morning all ladies.
Hope you are all havng a lovely Easter break
Ate far too much chocolate and drank too much over this weekend so the health kick starts here!
I got a green light on persona this morning - ye ha, no bding for a while, gone off it for a while after having to do it to order for 7 days!!
Anyway hope you are all well.....

Nemo1977 · 28/03/2005 10:33

morning all
hope u are having a fab easter...I had a smiley on my opk this morning so got very excited and told dh who sighed and said guess u want some then..pmsl. I told him its a good job he is off till wed as I am going to be making the most of it..lol
According to ov calender if I catch this week I will be due xmas week...typical hey..lol

Hope you are all well
take care and baby dust to all

Cadmum · 28/03/2005 15:13

BFN yesterday. Not overly surprised but somewhat diappointed of course. So now I am on day 34...just waiting for af. (No way I tested too early since I was away for 9 days and then waited an additional 3 before testing.) My MIL and FIL have a granchild born every month from October til May EXCEPT January so my SIL was teasing me that it was 'our turn' to have a January baby. I hope that she is right. DH will be away for 90 days starting late April so i sure hope to be pg when he leaves...
Hope you all had a Happy Easter.
DQ I was also HORRIFIED by the size of clothes I was trying on in Victoria between hospital visits. Where has all this extra weight come from? Is there a correlation between vast amounts of food; fine wine; lack of exercise and weight gain?!?! WHO KNEW? I really need to get fit!
