OK well not sure my title is good enough really and feel honoured you let me start the thread. So heres to a new month and new start on my cycle! TTC is going to be a very nervous and aprehensive time for me but i know oyu are all in the same boat and with your support im sure i can do it. So im on day 1 of my cycle. Should ov on day 10 although am not certain if D&C has mucked up my ovulation but will guess that. Am almost thinking that im ttc just to lose another baby and i know thats wrong but cant help it. With 2 mc already its hard to believe it will ever happen for me and DH and im almost convinced i will never see a healthy happy 12 week bean. Ok enough doom and gloom.

HERES TO ALL OF US WHO ARE NERVOUSLY TTC AND MAY LUCK AND FAIRY DUST SHOWER OVER US IN THESE COMING MONTHS!

justa quickie ladies, hello, missing you, dh off today so limited computer time. my af seems to be disappearing -whats that all about!
dizz- i dont think so, i think the LH hormone is JUST for releasing of eggs, but i'm not 100% on that. i've never done an opk when pg!
Bella, my two different brands of opks can NEVER agree on O, but they are usually close....isnt the persona still 'learning' your cycle? so maybe its not sure!
ordered my smiley faces today so middle of next week onwards i hope to see some smiles! we are such suckers for pricey gadgets on here..........
Girl, fabulous to hear youve been here, STAY here and chat
George your mini break looks fab. jealous of you!!!!!
thats it, am being grumbled at, so better dash. sigh. need to keep him sweet for next week...........

Cadmum · 23/03/2005 15:41

The last few days have been RATHER chaotic so I could not find the time to eat bon-bons in front of the computer. I was missing you lot! My mum was feeling absolutely horid on Monday (after a rather poor week-end) and that prompted the cardiologist to look for the source of her misery. It turned out that she had 3.8 Litres of fluid (blood mostly) surrounding her heart. They inserted a drain and she felt better within an hour. They are not certain what has caused this leak so they are watching her closely at this point. She needed 2 units of blood transfused yesterday and now she even has colour in her previously gray cheeks. I am now running meals to the hospital 3 times a day to help her regain some strength.
I am glad that I stayed but I sure missed my little people and dh.

Oh yeah and CD29 for me with no sign of AF but not feeling PG either. Will test on Saturday or maybe Easter Sunday would be better...

wendy11 · 23/03/2005 16:22

Cadmum - really glad to hear your mum is starting to pick up and hoping that she will go from strength to strength and be back home in the near future.

Bella - smiley face......... yeahea. Good luck with bding over the next few days.

DQ - made me feel better when you said "my two different brands of opk's" I am not the only one who double checks, to be sure, to be sure, to be sure!!

I find it so funny that we all know exactly when each of us are doing what and yet I wouldn't know the same details about my best friend - on second thoughts I don't really want to know what her and her db get up to most of the time!!.

Well finished work for the easter holidays today. Not back until 4th April. Maybe not the best time to take leave - during the 2ww - oh well just have to find something else to occupy my mind.

Have a nice afternoon/evening ladies

romilly · 23/03/2005 17:36

hi girls. rom checking in - had a nightmare couple of days at work and busy evenings but i did look in to see how you were all doing. thanks for asking after me bella, george and yellowbear . cadmum - so pleased to hear your mother is getting some colour back and sounds like she is doing well. it must take some time to recover after an op. like that but i'm sure she appreciated you being there.

glad to hear you've all been busy with your smiley opk's and persona's! LOL at us all. now i'm thinking - ooh maybe i should be double-checking with my persona still!

george - still not sure about exercise in the 2ww as you said. do you think stomach crunches are a no-no?

wendy - hilarious list of names from TCOYF book, i missed those somehow (havent read it all mind you).

well i am totally avoiding the subject of testing as you may have noticed because i am too chicken to do it yet .....i cant face the misery of a BFN right now, need to be feeling strong and frankly i'm a nervous wreck by this time of the month

george am sooo jealous of ur break i wish i could afford one of those hotels..lol but u have to giv eup some stuff as a sahm

george32 · 23/03/2005 20:50

Hi all,
Cadmum, your poor mum, no wonder she was feeling pretty low. Hope they have it sorted now & that you are OK.

Nemo,I can't afford the break either, it has gone on the credit card!! I like spoiling DP on his birthday, even if it takes me all year to pay for it, as he is far more sensitive than me the rest of the year (we have a kind of role reversal where sensitivity is concerned!!).
I like to thing of the credit card as "magic money" !!!
Good to hear from you Rom & DQ, is that everyone who owns at least 1 OPK now??? (Ok, Ok, yes, I bought some today too, felt I was missing out somehow and yes, it was magic money again!)
Good luck with your Bella. Sending you some babydust, you too Wendy....

MizZan · 23/03/2005 21:50

hi all - just dropping in as I have been lurking here to read everyone's news, and missing my chats with you - this thread is as addictive as Desperate Housewives, I tell you!

Cadmum, hope mum's recovery goes more smoothly from here on out - I'm sure you did her a world of good being there.

Go Bella Wendy and other bders!! Easter is after all the celebration of rebirth (apologies to anyone whose religious sensibilities I'm offending, no offence meant!). So what better time to make it all happen.

Looking forward to hearing news from all you testers this weekend...btw Dizzy, I did read somewhere on the Net that you can use OPKs as indicative pregnancy tests so it sounds to me like you may have something going on there. Then again I did get a + OPK on CD 27 and it was really ovulation not pregnancy, so you never know. Keep us posted!

baby dust to all

Bella23 · 23/03/2005 22:11

Just checking in to say good to hear from you Rom and DQ - i worrywhen i hear nothing from you both. Rom - everything crossed for the testing this weekend.
Cadmum - sounds like your Mum is going through it at the moment but looks like it was really helpful you stayed.
George - yes looks like we all love another gadget but I have to say I haven't felt as excited in a long time when i saw that smiley face on the digital clearblue!!
Wendy - yes funny to think we all know more intimate details about each other than even close friends in RL!
Mizan - good to hear from you, deperate Housewives eh? Favoutite line so far was from Brie who said something like "Do not mistake my anal retentiveness as a sign of affection" Love it
Well am off to jump on DH to catch some of his swimmers
Last day at work for before Easter .......ya ha !

hereshoping · 23/03/2005 22:25

dramaqueen72 · 23/03/2005 23:31

hey ladies...
miz - we ARE desperate housewives dontcha know!
hope all bd is going according to plan Bella! sure dh would love to know the entire thread is egging you on........LOL!!!!
I miss you guys in my daily real life i stop and think about you all..getting bad isnt it? reckon we'll all have to go to each others babies birthday parties and such.......
hereshoping, actually -supposedly NOT thinking about getting pg is just the way to do it.....so you really never know.....
nemo, hey missed you! may your saturday (and sunday!) be full of .....
rom, youre a strong lady, i'd have tested by now.......go on! make my day!
cadmum, hope your mother gets better quicker now, bless you for hanging on there. sure ttc is last on your mind right now, but what day are you on.....it must be pretty late in your cycle right?
wendy, to be VERY sure, LOL, i double checked cause i had some 'other' brand left......but now of course i wonder if i should ALWAYS double check....but then what about triple checking........it could all get very outa hand!!!!
George, hows the gym? god you make me feel guilty for not doing anything other than walking the dog....
I'm doing okay, af seems to be leaving me early, suppose thats alright and not a bad sign (do we EVER stop wondering if everything is a sign of something in TTC?????!!!)
dh is still alittle depressed, and i'm treading on eggshells abit to not rock the boat. thats very hard for me, i have whats politely known as an 'artistic temperment -hence dramqueen name- and this is just about killing me! he is however positive about bding and getting pg again, so thats something.
start of easter holidays is abit different in our house bella,.....I'm slightly shellshocked for the first 48hrs of EVERYONE being home at once......woah its loud and noisey and total bedlam. love everyone v much, just you know, one at a time!!! secretly i count down to school and work restarting....am i allowed to say that?!

Cadmum · 24/03/2005 00:58

I have never used an opk.. I also only test once I am 100% convinced that I am pg... Can I stil post here?
I am on cd28 but not feeling either pg or like af is around the corner. Don't really know which way is up at the moment.
My mum was feeling rotten again this morning and they are running a battery of tests this afternoon. Very upsetting. I really want her to recover quickly!

Cadmum · 24/03/2005 07:32

Goodmorning all! I bought a First Response Pg test. You are all making me crazy! I have been crampy all day so I may indeed be up the duff. I don't usually have cramps until day one and there is still no sign of my charming Auntie... Now I am SCARED! Thinking WHAT HAVE I DONE,NOW?!?! Likely still won't test until Saturday because with all of the stress here I don't know what the odds are AF just being delayed. (That old witch!)
I am sorry for not writing personal notes to you all but I barely have time to skim the thread. Will catch up on Saturday. Honest

cp3 · 24/03/2005 08:43

How are you all doing, is anyone due to test yet? Just keeping an eye on you girls.

Bonkerz · 24/03/2005 09:05

Just updating that i am due on af next week but am off on my hols tomorrow so will see if it arrives, am tired and weeing lots but not sure i feel pregnant. We did lots of bd at point where i should have ovulated so it may happen it may not. Will check back in a week!

OP posts:
munz · 24/03/2005 09:11

good luck bonkerz.

Bella23 · 24/03/2005 09:39

I got an O on persona this morning - full steam ahead, don't you just love it when a gadget gives you a result!!
Well have woken up this morning with really bad tooth ache, think I have an absess. Long story, I have really bad teeth but its throbbing so much I have had to take 3 ibuprofen. I feel really bad as shouldn't be taking anything should I? Any advice, will it be ok for me to take some ibuprofen around ovulation time?
DQ - arh mad household, sounds nice to me, but there again that's because I am longing for a house full, remind me of that in a few years time when I am in the reality and thinking the same as you!! Glad you DH is on the mend, at least he is fully on board on the ttc front, that's great!
Cadmum - sorry your Mum still seems to be going through it, fingers crossed she gets on the road to recovery soon. Will be keeping everything crossed for you testing as well.
Bonkerz - lovely to hear from you, keep us posted.
Rom - testing this weekend.....hoorah, loads og baby dust coming your way!
I am feeling such a sense of anticipation from this thread at the moment, I seriously think we are going to get some BFPs over the next few days

wendy11 · 24/03/2005 11:40

Cadmum - sorry to hear your mum still is not feeling too good. Hope the Dr's find out quickly what is causing her to feels so low. I am sure your Dad is feeling the strain too. My thoughts are with you all. Good luck if you test this weekend.

Bella - toothache is awful and what a horrible time to have it when you want to get busy at other things. Sorry can't offer any advice about ibuprofen although I do take it from time to time for back pain although I have never thought of it doing any harm.

George - never mind baby dust although I would like some of that too, but is there any way of sending gym dust. Can't seem to get motivated. Started off last week really well walking for 30 mins a day but failed on Sat and Sun and then it rained on Mon and busy doing other things over the last few days really any excuse will do. DQ like you I try to walk the dogs most days but as we live in the country they tend to walk themselves - pretty lazy dogs - out the back door, tour of the garden and back into their beds.
Oh well better intentions after Easter.

Good luck to all testing/BDing this weekend.

Rom you have a will of steel! Hope you get a good result.

Well temperatures are up this morning so looks like I have ov'd so onto the 2ww for me. That is 14 days, 336 hours, 20160 mins. OK you get the picture. Seems such a long time.

Bye for now. Taking my mum wallpaper shopping today. HELP!!

Bella23 · 24/03/2005 11:56

Arh Rom - sorry Hon!
Make sure you have a good weekend with a few glasses of vino.
Its a bugger, you'll get there though, just think someone has a cruel way of teaching us all patience!!

dramaqueen72 · 24/03/2005 13:53

Rom, I'm really really sorry it wasnt ot be this month. have a huge cyber hug from me ((((hugs))) i'm sure you feel really flat and sad now, hang in there, we're very close in cycles. THIS cycle is our cycle okay?
bonkerz, nice to see you here, hope its good news for you.....
nemo,. i think my children need to come to YOUR childrens school! mine are NOT half way thro hols at all, infact they have 2 more weeks!!!!!
the cleaner left an hour ago and you already cant tell!!!!!!!!!!
Bella, flashy lights eh? better get to it then! theres no mistaking O if ten things tell it you it must be so!!! was it the day you thought? or earlier? later? i know you 'missed' it with the first opks so was just wondering.
I O later than i thought. or rather than i used to pre children!
so Dizz, any news? was it an egg or a baby you were picking up there?!
george DONT send wendy any gym dust, cause if you all start going i'll feel really bad!!LOL
so how many minutes to go wendy?
af is almost gone for me (fine) and i'm planning the next bd sessions.......I cant wait, this 'gap' between af and bding feels abit useless!
hope alls well with you guys today, suns shining here ought to really do something to garden......

Bella23 · 24/03/2005 14:08

DQ - O is right where I thought it was so that's good. Pain is that we have MIL down for the weekend tomorrow so looks like there will have to lots of silent bding in order to make this baby!

MizZan · 24/03/2005 14:14

oh sorry Rom, hang in there. a big glass of vino is in order tonight I think...
