Hi guys - we've had May and June, so may July be third thread lucky. I am a July baby myself. All welcome.

great stuffy woollyjo and yes ripmacwinkle, if cutting and posting list from two days ago then just change eveyone's cd by 2.

I'm almost certain am back to beginning. Temp dipped yesterday though rose again today (but did have a few glasses of wine last night), negative cheapy test and spotting - just waiting for it to develop to proper flow then will be cd1.

Hi to all, just packed DD off with DH to see inlaws for the afternoon so I thought I'd update the list while I could use both hands! Please check and made amendments as nec.

Hi Wishing,

tested with a tesco's cheapie 2 days after AF should have started (sorry not clued up to this cd stuff), with my past 3 pregnancies I always had a negative result before I had a positive so hoping this is a good omen. Had a stomach bug today - hoping it has no effect

Issy42 · 26/10/2008 16:39

Congrats woolly

Just repasted list with self at bottom as now cd2. Though if all on time this month and works would still just scrape an end July due date.

Good luck to everyone still waiting.

hello Ladies, sorry to jump in but I wonder if I could ask your views on the best ovulation tests to buy. Am TTC#2, Have been using FAM, temp and charting but until recently was Bfing still so not very accurate I don't think so has been hard to get timing right. Poor DH knackered as I keep telling him today is the day - he now thinks you can concieve for a full week! Anyway am now on day25 and cycle uually 28-31, feeling moody and sulky so no doubt not a good month so planning to stock up on ovulation kits for next month and wanted to know which are best!! It's a minefield in Boots.
thanks all and very best of luck to everyone and sorry to intrude on your thread.

pinkie08 · 26/10/2008 20:10

HI evie

I have been using the Clearblue digital - i buy them on the internet site accessdiagnostics as they are quite competitive and deliver the next day.

If you have a look on the website think the discount coupon code "thank you " is also still working for a discount of 6.5%

I like these as it is a {grin} on the day that its +ive and a blank circle when its not so no trying to guess if the lines are dark enough.

Wishing · 26/10/2008 21:00

thanks wollyjo!! ihave a clearblue but frightend that will be a bfn as well!!

i dont no whats going on and im hating this!! im irritable!

madmarriedNika · 27/10/2008 06:54

Good morning ladies. Sadly I need moving to the bottom of the list as just 2 hrs after I posted on Saturday night AF came through in full flow - but I guess at least I didn't have to wait any longer or shell out on another test. It's just weird as usually I don't spot at all before my period starts starts so my body really teased me this time . Anyway I'm counting Sunday as CD 1...

Wishing- any more news? It must be so hard, really hoping a BFP is on its way soon xxx

Good luck everyone else xx

Have reposted list with me at bottom too. Am however hopeful this month and trying to be positive for following reasons:

  • I def ovulate as 21 day test shows
  • Blood test last month shows good hormone levels
-DH now as keen as me and understands need for much BDing over big period -Have found way to do my testing habit cheaply though cheapy internet tests
  • Baby conceived this month would still be a late July baby
  • Having baby a year to 6 months after friends means they would all lend me their baby stuff

Anyone got other things to add to list so we can be hopeful?

Sorry to see you back at the bottom yellowflowers you make very good points tho! Did you get an answer re achy boobs? I think I'll be joining you again, not really in the mood for much BDing and doubt my body wants to get pg while I'm this stressed. Did manage it CD10 tho, out tonight (CD12) but maybe manage tomorrow as DH has the day off.

Doing my last urine collection today so should have the results by middle of next week. At least I should get the all clear (hopefully) before next cycle.

yellowflowers · 27/10/2008 09:33

Am thinking of you smallone - horrible time for you.

The achey boobs which were from about week before a 3 day odd period then 2 weeks after started to disappear just as I entered 2ww for this cycle. So odd. In a way relief to get period this month as maybe body can sort itself out again. I still think must have been a chemical pregnancy and took body a while to de-sore the boobs, but have no proof of that of couse.

Perhaps this period body can have proper clean out (rather than the v odd three day light bleed) and be all ready for a baby?

LittleCheese · 27/10/2008 09:50

Hi ladies sorry to her you are back at the bottom yellow and MMN but hey so am i CD1 today, I have just used an online calculator which says if i concieve this cycle EDD will be 5th August but im a little confused now as you guys are still in for late july babies?

yellowflowers · 27/10/2008 09:54

ah, well possible I miscalculated. But this thread is nice so will stay here until someone starts and Aug one.

yellowflowers and little cheese - sorry to see you're at the bottom, fingers crossed for August.x Well i've got impatient and tested today - ridiculous I know as 6 days until AF due. It was with a clear blue and wasn't even fmu!! of course it was a bfn although if i hold it up to the sunlight and squint a bit I can see the faintest of faint blue lines. or I could be seeing things.

yellowflowers · 27/10/2008 16:56

that's potentially exciting squally - fingers crossed

smallone · 28/10/2008 17:41

Thanks yellow, Good luck to everyone in the testing zone, which seems to be over half our list at the mo!

I my effort to make myself very busy I've been juggling lots of things and have managed to potty train dd in 2 weeks and can't quite believe it! We've now had 3 accident free days and we've been out, in the car and everything! Almost an anticlimax really as my "baby" is now definitely a little girl. . . . makes me all the more broody for another!

liahGeneMutatedMonster · 28/10/2008 18:42

well i have only one ebay cheapie left so am waiting till/if i am late on saturday.

I am sooo crap at this waiting lark.

MamaMimi · 28/10/2008 19:02

Hello all

I'm sorry but haven't been around to post for a while. I am on the list but don't think I've added anything since near the start. I have been reading the thread every now and again tho' and catching up with it

Up 'til now I've had a pretty awful month, feeling ill with one thing or another - including having a virus on my birthday!

But by far the worst thing to happen this month was dp's mum dying in the early hours of yesterday morning which has upset us all greatly.

But then, after AF being 3 days overdue I used my freebie CB HPT this morning and got a BFP!! - "Pregnant: 1-2"

At the moment tho' it's hard to feel really ecstatic 'cos of how we're feeling about m-i-l. Of course we are extremely happy as we've been ttc for 13 months now and I had just begun to have tests etc to see if there was a reason why it wasn't happening. In fact I was waiting for AF to arrive so I could go for day 2 blood tests!! But things just seem a bit wierd right now.

Anyway congrats to all of you others on the BFP list and I'm hoping and wishing for many more of you to get a nice surprise like me.

pinkie08 · 28/10/2008 19:41

MamaMimi

Well done you!!! I am liking the sound of the new CB HPTs but they dont seem to have any in at TESCO/ASDA. DO you have to get them from a chemist as they are so new or am i a bit slow at finding them

Lets hope we get some more BFPs this month. I am in my 2ww and trying to calculate when i can test when i know full well its 7th NOV

liahGeneMutatedMonster · 28/10/2008 20:02

mamamimi well done you. What lovely news after all that time.

that mil couldn't be there to share with you.

Look after yourself. x

Pinkie, tesco sell them at mo for pack of 2 for 11 quid!!

Belgrano · 28/10/2008 20:23

Hello everyone
Can I join you? I've been eavesdropping on your thread. I am hoping to have a July baby -at least I think it would be July, but the very end. Well, AF last arrived on Oct 13th - I think that would make it July baby if it works out this month...?
Very new at this but I just thought it would be nice to hang out with some other lovely ladies in the same boat as me.

liahGeneMutatedMonster · 28/10/2008 20:24

hi Belgrano

welcome, feel free to add yourself to our list.
