Hi there and welcome bexxa and ellsbellzie - I'm really -sorry to hear about September and your ectopic pregnancy ellsbellzie - hoping that this thread brings a BFP to you both (and the rest of us!)

I only used ovulation sticks for two month - one of which was the month I got pregnant (although later miscarried) but I didn't ever find out when I ovulated with them (we just randomly bdd late in cycle and then when I worked it out I hadn't been using them at the right point). I found them really useless - I never seemed to get two dark lines -- the lady on the helpline suggested using two a day when the lines were getting darker but that was looking very expensive so I gave up on them for the last few months.

Way too much information here....but I'm worried so please excuse...

Last night, we were bding - and noticed that I was bleeding - or that there was discharge. Pale pink. I suppose, looking optimistically, this could be implantation bleeding. I thought/imagined I also had some sharp pains in my left side.

It could be my period I suppose but it's way too early and there's nothing this morning

On the other hand, I had a smear test about 10 days ago - I was late for it and had a slightly abnormal smear two smears ago (a normal since). So I"m really worried that there's something up with my cervix and this is a bad sign.

DH just thinks we've bruised it a bit from so much bding... but possible I suppose

Any thoughts really gratefully received

I got my smear results yesterday so hopefully you won't have to wait too long to put your mind at rest. I think implantation bleeding is usually about 10 days after ov - does this sound possible? Is there still anything there? My period is 5 days early this month, maybe AF is in a rush to visit us this month?

Yes, it is about ten days from possible ovulation. My cycles have been weird since TTC - used to be 28-30 now 32 - 34 and had to wait six weeks after miscarriage so hard to determine ovulation. Roll on smear results. Have cross posted on this.

Sorry that AF was five days early for you. And yes, it could be that too. The only compensation of a slightly shorter cycle, I suppose, is that it means less waiting!

Can I join in? We've just started trying for DC2. I had my implanon taken out 10 days ago, so have no idea about what CD i may be on. Pretty sure I had ovulation pains and a slight ovulation bleed yesterday, but we shall see. Drove myself mad testing incessantly last time, so have promised not to buy any HPT's for another 3 weeks. Again, we shall see! Wishing you all lots of good luck.

hi smelderina i went to the doc a few weeks ago because of light bleeding during or afer the bd she said everything was fine and probably because of having too much bd lol but best to go to the docs about it if your worrying to put your mind at rest.

still no AF for me but too scared to test again incase i get another BFN think ill wait till monday and if AF still hasnt arrived do another test good luck to everyone ttc atm heres to hoping for a summer babe!! x

Bring on the bfps - that type of news is fab! it gives me hope and you have given me hope ttt as i have a really good feeling this month! and the symptoms i have are complete exhaustion, nausea, particularly when im in the car (and motion sickness is not something i suffer from!) and tender boobs - now i was thinking it was my imagination as i am more aware of my boobs as appose to them actually hurting but then a minute later im sure they are tender - and to top it all off i just feel somthing may be brewing this month and i ve heard and read that most women "just know" when they have concieved - could that me true?? i deffo have a good feeling this month - bring on the bfps for us all!!

I used the First Response ovulation tests and im definitely going to use one again, though I think they are all pretty much the same! I got pregnant first time and we only actually tried one night due to work commitments, so pretty amazing well worth a try! Unfortunately it ended in the ectopic. My cycle is usually 28 - 30 days I started testing on day 12 and ovulated on day 15. Theyve got some great offers on the net where you get approx 10 ovulation tests some preseed and 2 preg tests for around £13!xx

hi all, its going to be a long wait until monday i think! then again now i am doubting my dates. monday will be 28 days from when i stopped taking the pill. it was a couple of days til first day of af tho so maybe i should be counting from then?? on the upside boobs still very achey and sore. just "feel" like something is going on. i am going to be shocked if i am not pregnant and then cross at myself for getting too carried away. this ttc stuff is tricky. far easier last time when wasnt trying. just noticed i was late and hey presto! a very happy accident!

Thanks wishing - not too bad, just wish body wasn't so evil at tricking me! Like you say, less waiting til I can try again. Got other things on my mind aswell now, my body has gone very weird and I don't know which symptoms are caused by what!

Mickeylou- It's very long time since I was on the pill but I think you should be counting from the first day AF. I'm with you on the happy accident thing - far easier!
