morning

23 weeks today

moosma - your chart looks interesting not sure what to say [hmmm]

i am hoping to finally pick up dds winter clothes that i ordered from next today as it is so cold now

SesHasapinkline · 18/09/2008 10:43

Quiet in here this morning!

I woke up feeling sick again and tried ot go to work but felt like I was going to be sick 2 miles down the road and so turned round and came home. Feel really bad as I was meant to be going to one of my stores that really needed my help today and I'm desperately trying to find someone else that might be able to go and help but no joy so far.
I guess it can't be helped.
I phoned DH and told him and he was quite supportive and told me to go home and that surely it was all v reassuring.
It is and I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, it's just how it is at the moment.

tink - winter clothes for dd sound good. In fact winter clothes makes me feel all snuggly and warm

Moosma - had a quick look at your chart and it does seem a bit confusing... I like "irresponsible GOFing" though

Diege · 18/09/2008 11:11

Morning! Back safely from Cardiff though crackered after 8 hours of travelling
Great to hear from you MOOSMA Thanks for your good wishes - first proper ttc month now, on cd 5, so gearing up for action! Have ordered some pre-seed off e-bay, with 15 ovulation sticks and 5 pregnancy ones, so feeling positive. Was it CALS who used the pre-seed? Some info/advice would be useful .
SES, sorry you're feeling so sick, although I think going home was the right option (can you imagine the alternative if you were sick??!!). I've been there, and was signed off from work until 13 weeks or so - this following a very public vomiting display on the train which resulted in the service being terminated at Manchester Piccadily. I wasn't popular . So there you go, you're in the right place!
Hello to everyone else - sorry I've not had time to catch up . I'm in work today for a meeting, but can hopefully get back 'in the loop' today and tomorrow

tinkhasanactivebean · 18/09/2008 11:42

Wow clotehs sound great TINKS . I have the fellecy jumper with spots (green/blue) for dd3 and it looks so cute .

Well, I have just sold my soul to the devil. Have been offered more money to do an extra day a week (writing stuff, so can do from home)so I am now technically full time again! I could really do with the money , but do feel a bit 'prostitute like' as I was adament I wouldn't do it until figures were mentioned . I've done similar stuff before though, so will only actually be an extra 2 or 3 hours a week. Tell me I've done good!

feeble · 18/09/2008 12:45

As for me I am on wagon until January at least, need to get chrimbo out the way, and then we are going to try and trick my body, as AFs are being led by pill atm and were tricky before, we are gonna miss a pill every other day for a jan, and see what happens, feeling much much happier tho, new job is ace!!

Dalrymps · 18/09/2008 15:57

Hey everyone,

Ses - Sorry you're feeling so ill, you're in the best place at home.

Tink - The clothes sound lovely

Feeble - Welcome! When are you hoping to ttc?

BBeingpatient - Hi, I understand you are one of the originals off this thread. Glad to have yo back

Emma - Wow at you showing already! Hope you enjoy the camping.

Diege - If the extra work is only really 2 to 3 hours then i'm sure it's worth it for the extra money

Moomsa - I'm not sure what to make of your chart either. Have you checked the info on the site where it tells you what can effect your temps to make sure they're all accurate? All I can suggest i'm affraid.

Well, i've not been up to much today. Still suffering with terrible insomnia from the AD's, hope it wears off soon

Hi to everyone i've missed, back later x

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 18/09/2008 16:06

Hello everyone

Was going to do a post by post catch up but Dal has done it perfectly

Welcome to Feeble, lots of luck

BB, I didn't email did I? You will just have to get your backside on here a bit more, I can just about keep up on here!

Big hello to Moosma Sounds like the barn is starting to kick off - how exciting! You know me, I can't help with the temps, hope you get it figured out though

Cal, hope DS has been better today?

Have been into town, got the paint for the living room and play room (my poor buggy, I think it nearly had a heart attack under the weight of it all, I could hear it huffing and puffing and swearing at me over every bump!) Don't know when it is actually going to be used though, it's the boys room this weekend, I think DH is on call the weekend after, not sure... At least it is here waiting to be done though!

lardybump · 18/09/2008 16:32

Evening everyone. Sorry I have been away for a while but have been so busy at work!! Roll on Maternity time... Hope everyone is well. I am huge but loving it now there is no sickness and I have more energy.... I really am eating everything in site (DP says that he has lost weight because I eat my food so quickly then start picking at his .. I am going to try and catch up with the thread now so will be back soon!!!

SesHasapinkline · 18/09/2008 17:31

Hi all!

LB - glad to hear the 2nd trimester is much better!

Feeble - welcome! You've found a good thread here.

Dal - sorry your're sufferring from sfx from the ADs. Not sure which ones they are but with some the sfx often wear off after the first 2-3 weeks. Hope things improve for you.

BB - good to hear from you!

Emma - Do you know when you should be able to start hearing the hb through the doppler? I'm still nor sure whether to get one...

Diege - I don't think you've sold your soul to the devil. More money for what will be a few hours of extra work that you can do from home sounds v good to me. Congratulations!

NJ - hi! Sounds like you're getting v organised with sorting the rooms out!

As for me, I came home and nibbled on some rich tea biscuits, then slept for 4 hours and am feeling a bit better now.
We STILL haven't exchanged contracts and are meant to be moving next Friday (26th)!!! We have been assured that we will exchange by 11am tomorrow and all is still on for next Friday. Fingers crossed!

Diege · 18/09/2008 18:34

Hi SES, . Fingers crossed for the house sale - think how great it will be when you're moved in!
Getting through the arsenic hour! hopefully speak later! [arghh, why do I want 4??)

kookykid · 18/09/2008 19:15

Hiya all!

Remember me?? Have been lurking a bit, but can't really remember much. I have now been a working mum for 3 whole weeks. It definitely has it's ups and downs! Some of the boys in my class are right little buggers, but mostly the kids are v sweet.

Luckily my little DD has been a trooper and coped brilliantly with the childminder. Miss her unbelievably though.

I am on CD2 and feeling OK about this as for the 1st time in ages had a "normal" cycle last month. I also feel like I know my cycle so well I knew well in advance that AF was on the way, so it wasn't a surprise.

I have missed you all and hope to be a bit more regular if you know what I mean!

BBeingpatient · 18/09/2008 19:27

hi kooky i remember you seems we are all coming back "home" as it were!!

lardybump · 18/09/2008 19:35

Hello Kooky and BB how the devil are you... Moos so good to hear from you, sorry took so long to get back but I had so much to catch up on...

SesHasapinkline · 18/09/2008 19:43

Hi Kooky!
Must be v strange going back to work. I take it you're a teacher - what year group?
Good news about you cycle last month so fingers crossed going forwards.
We've missed you too so would be great to hear from you a bit more

kookykid · 18/09/2008 21:16

Thanks BB, Lardy and Ses.

BB, it's nice to see you back too. Where are you at with everything? If I remember rightly you're still waiting ttc. Is that right?

Lardy, Hope things are better with your DH. Also that your lovely DD is doing well - she must've just turned 18 months? I remember our LOs are not too far apart (And don't they have the same name?!. Mine is 18months tomorrow. Seems like another big milestone.

Ses, I have Year2/3 which is an odd mix... having Key Stage 1 and 2 in one class sometimes seems like a quite a challenge. Rural Suffolk kids are very far away in every way from my tough ol London kids that I taught for 10 years! Hope your pregnancy is going well. Was so pleased to see your BFP news!

SesHasapinkline · 18/09/2008 21:23

Thanks kooky! Going well so far if the MS of today is anything to go by! Just trying to eat scrambled egg which is hopefully a bit better than the 1/3 of a packet of rich tea I've nibbled at the rest of the day!

My SIL has transferred from being a large primary school in Surrey to a village school near Keswick. Hugely different! The new school has 4 classes in the entire school! She prefers it though - nicer atmosphere and much nicer surroundings!

calsworld · 18/09/2008 22:36

Hey all, really rudely just flying in to say hi and bye again.

DS is a lot better than he was but still not great, there's five of them at nursery with this horrible cough / fever etc so the poor nursery nurses are doomed to go down with it too. DH and I are both suffering too, though I'm still going to work as having had 2 weeks off, don't think I can phone in sick again just yet.

KK, BB, Moosma, lovely to hear from you all, will try to catch up properly soon, I promise....just when things are less busy

x

wilsonmummy · 19/09/2008 08:26

Hey everyone, sorry not been in for a while but getting ready for the big house move, which should happen nex friday!! (fingers crossed)
Been suffering with colds and asthma so not really got that much packing done so gonna have to pull my finger out!!

Welcome Feeble, i'm a newbie too!

Emma can't wait to hear your doppler working, and wish we were coming camping to!!

Glad to hear everyone, speak soon when not so manic!! lol

GYo · 19/09/2008 08:26

Hi Everyone

Been a while since I posted properly as work has been so busy.

Great to see some of the original Wagoners back. Hi BB, Moosma, Kooky.

Cal- glad to hear you are back at work, but sorry DS is sick
Ses- sickness is a good sign however miserable.
Dals- sorry to hear you are getting insomnia, hoping that it sorts itself out soon for you.
Emma ? quick work to get the Doppler- nice to have it for when its time to hear anything. Did you buy the one Tink recommended?
Gruff- how are you? how is the nausea?
Welcome Feeble- this is a fab thread, get your details on the list!

Think I?ve missed loads but hi everyone else; Nat, Tink, LB, Cosmo (if you are lurking between feeling sick ?)
LBOT- are you still out there? come and say hi sometime

I am finally beginning to look pregnant. I?m now 14 ½ weeks and its just happened this week. I?m about to go to the US to work for 2 weeks (so I will be online at weird times) so I think when I get back to the office it will be hard to hide it, plus all the wt gain from 2 wks of conference centre/ hotel eating!

Will be lurking today? feeling wagon withdrawal symptoms?. although did notice we are nearly full on this thread- that happened quick!

Wilson - we could potentially be moving house on the same day as you! Not much packing done here yet

NJ - how are the contractions?

I'm not feeling too sick this morning (trying not to read too much into that) and am just nibbling on my first rich tea of teh day to see how it goes...
