Hola again!!

Diege.. unfortunatly my dh doesn't take the kiddies with him, he's more into the extreme type of biking, click in shoes and very steep mountains at break neck speeds!!
Sorry but not with all these abbreviations yet what does iyswim mean?

Diege · 14/09/2008 09:33

Morning! The day of the dreaded MIL birthday party...will have to take deep breaths and just get through this one, avoiding all sarky comments with a fixed grin
WILSON, iyswim is 'if you see what I mean' (iysmim ). My dh used to you scary mountain biking stuff from high mountains in Wales and Forest of Dean, before he got old . Have you ever tried it yourself? I have once or twice - lots of falling off in bushes etc, not good!

tinkhasanactivebean · 14/09/2008 10:21

Diege · 14/09/2008 18:58

Hello!!! Well back from the dreaded party, and while it had its moments was much better than anticipated .
LB, sounds like things are going well at home .
Hi Tinks! .
Will pop in tomorrow, but off now I think to supervise homeworks etc...x

Dalrymps · 14/09/2008 22:35

Hi everyone,

Had a nice day today, went to our nieces naming ceremony buy the sea, was just a little family thing.

Cal- hope your ds is feeling better. Ds had a similar bug a while ago, he was off for about 10 days but we just kept giving him calpol and he was drinking his milk and eating baby rice so we just waited it out. I think as long as they're not dehidrated and theor temp is under control with the calpol there's not a lot more you can do.

Diege - glad today went ok and was better than anticipated.

Ses - hope you're not feeling too worried at the moment and are enjoying the pregnancy as much as you can.

Well, I've left it too long in between posts again and can't possibly catch u on it all before going to bed so i'll just say hi to everyone i've missed and i'll be back tomorrow x

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 15/09/2008 08:05

morning all... going to try the mammoth task which is catching up today!!!

SesHasapinkline · 15/09/2008 08:15

Morning glaskham! How are you feeling?

I'm really struggling to wake up properly in the mornings and have been feeling tired all weekend. Am feeling what I call pre-nauseous too. Have vague queasiness with a bit of indigestion but haven't been sick or started retching yet. Came close when brushing my teeth though! I guess that's all good signs. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow which is good but they think that's when the baby died last time so it doesn't help with the worry. I have been quite strict with myself though and haven't cried (well except at Eastenders??!) for 2 days now!

Diege - glad the party was better than expected but it sounds like one of those events that you could really have done without and you had to really bite your tongue. You got through it though!

Dal - naming ceremony sounds good

LB - hope you enjoyed your roast! Good luck with MIL - really not easy.

Morning everyone else!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 15/09/2008 08:15

oh wasn't as ad as i thought.

HBJB- hello- hope you dont need the clomid but if you do then i hope it gives you fast results!!

NJ- what sort of buggy is it you want?? i'm intrigued now as to what it is (me being a buggy addict!!)

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 15/09/2008 08:32

morning ses- i'm not feeling so bad thanks.... 9 weeks today for me

sickness seems ok, have lowered my dose's on my own (to make each bottle last a few days longer) and dont seem to be feeling sick in the afternoons!!

shame you're worrying about being 6 weeks because of what happened last time, but do remember- every pregnancy is different

tinkhasanactivebean · 15/09/2008 08:35

morning

quickly popping on before dropping dd of to nursery

diege - glad party went ok
dal naming ceremony soinds lovely by the sea
ses wow nearly 6 weeks.

tinkhasanactivebean · 15/09/2008 08:36

hi glas waves

wow 9 weeks already i am 22.5 weeks

SesHasapinkline · 15/09/2008 08:37

Thanks glaskham, I'll try! Glad your sickness is improving. I think generally most people find it goes round about 10 weeks so hope it continues to tail off for you.

SesHasapinkline · 15/09/2008 08:38

Sorry tink - x-post!
Is dd still enjoying nursery?

tinkhasanactivebean · 15/09/2008 08:41

ye she loves it thanks ses has been going for a week now

GYo · 15/09/2008 08:46

Morning All

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I havent been on here at all as we were painting most of the weekend - again but we are slowly getting it done. Though im not sure the fumes can be anygood for beany...

I need to catch up with the weekends posts but I wanted to say hi to everyone

14wks tomorrow for me. I cant believe how fast its going now... seemed like time was going backwards for the first 10 weeks!

Right back to work.... will be poking my nose around the wagon door from time to time to feed my addiction though!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 15/09/2008 08:51

morning tink- i know it seems to be flying by really... i'm nearly 1/4 of the way there!! when i see the midwife next week i'll be more than 1/4 of the way!! wuhoo!!

GYo- god your pregnancy seems to be ticking along nicely, thought you were only 4 weeks ahead of me, but your 5, or yours is going faster than mine!! haha!!

and ses- i wouldn't really know the 'norm' for sickness, was throwing up with DS even a couple of days after i'd had him!! and with DD didn't have any sickness!! hopefully being puke free (almost) for the last 3 weeks must have helped... hope i can only be on the meds for another couple of weeks at tops as it tastes disgusting!!

GYo · 15/09/2008 08:54

Hi Glask- funny how time is going, also now Xmas approachs (ok, not for ages) it will go even faster!

Tink (or anyone else)- I am thinking of getting a doppler- I remember you saying you bought one. Would you recommend it? I am really keen except for the fact I'd worry if I couldnt hear anything!
thank you

OP posts:
glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 15/09/2008 08:55

GYo- i'm also thinking of getting one, after my 12week scan... was going to ask about what ones were good etc...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 15/09/2008 09:16

Good morning

Cal, how is DS now?

Diege, well done for getting through yesterday, sounds like it coul dhave been a lot worse!

Doppler talk, I have the middle onehere, couldn't recommend it highly enough. From the first day it could actually pick a HB up it hasn't missed it since. And if you rent it for the 6 months it is yours to sell and get most, if not all, your money back

Glask, the buggy is the Mutsy Slider, I am going to be mourning it forever....

Sorry if I have forgotten anything, barely got any sleep last night (contractions every bloody 10 minutes till gone 4 o'clock this morning ) Don't know how many times I thought, if I get one more I am going to have to go to hospital, and then one more would come and I'd think, right one more and I'm going.... 16+ weeks left to go

Did I say we got the carpet sorted? Can't remember if I've been back on? Anyway, it is sorted, it's being fitted next Monday late afternoon, DH is back at work on the Tuesday so we have all of one evening to get all the furniture and then the crap toys and stuff back in.

Hey, before I forget, got a really good bargain for DS2 bday/xmas (not decided yet) here it is £200 in other shops

tinkhasanactivebean · 15/09/2008 10:23
