Sorry ladies! I see you have been eagerly awaiting news. We were at the clinic at lunchtime but i have had car trauma, so i have only just got infront of the pc (car is poorly - not an accident or anything awful)
Today went really well - out of the 7 we had 2 really good embryos, one a grade 1 (which they said they don't often see) and another the embryologist gave a grade 2, but the dr said he would give it a grade 1. We saw them on the screen before they went in, it was wonderful. Putting them back was fine, just like a smear test. The other embryos were not good enough to freeze, but she was going to leave them growing for a couple of days to see if they improve. So there we are - 2 embryos in there, all we have to do is wait. It feels great, and it also feels overwhelming. You'll have to help me through this 2ww! I can't believe we have now completed one ivf cycle (well, apart from the waiting) Please hang on in there little ones.
MrsH LOL at your DH "loading you up" before you go away I'm sure the pre-seed will help, and it's certainly not going to do any harm.
EI You always think of such great names! I am loving your relaxed approach this cycle.
Caitni I'm glad it went well at the gp on saturday, but at the wait for a SA! Am glad your DH has booked himself in somewhere else, it's definitely money well spent (can't believe the london prices though) My DH would thoroughly agree with the size of the receptacle! It's not easy for these poor men to "aim" - especially when they are stressed. We must definitely start a campaign
PnM So sorry to hear you have been poorly. Hope you are on the mend now. What a priviledge to be asked to read at the funeral, i can thoroughly understand your anxiety about it though. Your poor sister, she must be worried and frightened. I think the fertility enforcers need to go and have words with that GP!
RFN2 Good to see you. Good luck with the sperm meets egg plan. I think your DH is going to be a very happy bunny
